I like both, but I will say that as of yesterday I'm a firm believer that every recommendation of PMAG needs to have an asterisk regarding the fact that you really should use the dust covers if you're storing them loaded after I found my oldest one starting to crack.

Pmags don't hold up, check with battlefield vegas and any of the countless cases of pmags cracking for no reason, or cracking when being used hard.

My USGI mags from 1991 still work great and hav the alleged dreadful black follower.

We use UGSI (Brownell's with tan follower) and on a mag for mag basis, they have outlasted Pmags and a few of the other mags that we get from mfg'ers with new weapons. We don't have to worry about various generations with different weapons like the MR556, SCAR, F2000, Tavor or a couple of others that use AR15/M4 magazines.

I like both. I've got probably thirty or forty of each. The D&H mags from PSA are great for the price.

Am I the only one that has tons of feeding issues with D&H? My AR came with one, and the issues disappeared when I popped a PMAG in.

P mags were always meant to be disposable. You’re supposed to throw them out when they crack. Until then, they’re better.

I use whatever buy them on deals I like pmags and okays pretty much the same pmags are easier for me to grab off the chest right / belt with the base plates tapering at the bottom but the aesthetics of aluminum mags definitely win, lancers look cool to .

those pmags look like really old ones. when was the last time pmags had black followers?

If you use the dust covers it relieves the pressure on the feed lips that cause that, downloading it might help but who knows how much.

Pmag with windows, used all deployment through afghanatrash no problems. Usgi mags are alright but I have had a few malfunctions with them. Our usgi mags had green and orange follower for what it’s worth.
my entire platoon used pmags and they worked well through the wadis, grape fields and all other bullshit.

Only metal mags I'd put in my AR-15 would be teflon coated with magpul followers which are more expensive than pmags.
