Hey guys i was just wondering if any of you have any experience with the Christensen Arms mpr.

I recently ordered One in 300 win mag and have no idea what to expect. Any information about the company (dealing and qc issues) would be helpful too

Bought one a few years ago, it blew up and killed my wife and children, and framed me for their murders.t

Ill have to keep an eye on the rifle thanks for the heads up

No problem, enjoy your rifle.

>buys thing
>asks about it
>in that order
u r dum

It's unpleasantly light for .300 winmag. Very, very good in damn near every other respect, but not much fun to shoot unless you have a brake or suppressor, a heavy scope, and maybe a heavy bipod.

It's a Remington 700 pattern, so they have to be actively trying if they want to fuck up. Should be a good rifle, but maybe you should've bought a more intermediate caliber.

i'm tired of the threads where we are suppose to believe this fucktards have 'ordered' something and didn't ask before the purchase? we can smell the bullshit, kid

no i have done research on the rifle and christensen is reputable but i always have that worry that the reviews are paid reviews i just want to see in anyone has had bad experiences with the company or its products especially someone within the firearms community.

i have all sorts of calibers i have 223 308 6.5 grendel and will probably be trying to build an ar in .243 but ibhave always wanted a 300 win mag but just havent done it. Im entirely aware that the rifle is probably going to rip my arm off at some point but hopefully its not before i get my can

>I'm worried the reviews might be shills
>I'll buy then ask other sources that I have no way to verify the data

they blow up, just the other day one killed a billion people at 24 hour fitness just randomly exploding. bad products from muslims pretending to be christians.

Since Im anonymous on the internet Im going to shit on it.
>you should have built your own to your usage needs. I dont know anything about your model but I know the trends of where prebuilt rifles are lacking, especially in magnum calibers.
>their QC is known for being a mixture of great and a few really bad. Cant remember the exact problems people have had or their customer service though since it's been a long time
>christensen is one of the brands people who have money but dont know much about the game buy
I guess I had less to shit on than I thought but I have read mixed reviews about their quality control.

the rifle OP posted has an aluminum chassis, heavy barrel, and a muzzle brake. It's probably like 14lbs or more.
Im not a tough guy but a braked even 10lb or so rifle in 300wm should kick about like the average 12 gauge loaded with 2.75" pheasant load. It might knock your optic off target but it wont hurt like it might without a muzzle brake.

i worked for a dealer wheb i ordered it so ingit a fucking killer deal , couldnt help myself

the rifle is 7 pounds lol

i was going to get an early 2000s 700 and just get a proof barrel then change the stock all in all it wouldve cost the same but idk like i said i got a killer deal on it

Oh, it's going to jump when you pull the trigger. Maybe closer to an express load 12g but Im not sure if it will enter the pain threshold.
Since youre going to be shooting from prone it might take some getting used to.

Well maybe I spoke too soon about needing to build. If you got a good deal maybe it'll be great for the money. Do you handload or are looking to do so?
The main problems I see with prebuilts are mostly just twist rate and magazine length on 300wm but if you dont handload it's less of an issue and plenty of people get by with the common configurations. You could add how it's reamed and not being in the exact configuration youd like to that though.

yeah while it might not be my m40 i was looking to build it is still a nice rifle, i am getting into reloading but i dont know if i want to for the 300 win mag.

Its alot of powder in that case and while yes 300wm is easy to reload its alot of issues that i can run into

> A *billion* people? I will buy 7.

bump with their stock photos

it's not really difficult. Brass will last 4-5 loadings and the benefits of being able to tune a load to your gun with a temp stable powder are pretty significant. Also, higher BC bullet options are possible and more affordable.

idk ive heard other issues arise with belted magnums but since ive never reloaded one i couldnt tell you what it would be
