Thoughts on the Ruger Mark IV Tactical?
I am thinking about picking one up if I can find it for under $500

More importantly - what's a good office-chimp Camelback bag?
I placed my faith in Victorinox and it ripped near the zipper after two years of abuse. Would totally fail me if shtf when I am trying to tactically carry my laptop, apples, and wet wipes.
Speaking of wet wipes...what are some good wipes for cleaning yo face and yo desk? I use dude wipes, but their intended purpose seems to be wiping your ass, so that's kind of awkward.
You should be getting the mk iv in stainless
take your meds, wagie

It's great if your goal is to look like a fag.
Otherwise get a stainless for target shooting or a lite for hiking.
Literally nothing wrong with it, it's just boring is all. Mount a micro dot, slap a laser on it, woohoo, suppressed .22. Yawn.
I like the Hunter, but its likes $300 more and you cant mount a reflex on it.
perfect
I got a ruger mkiv 22/45 lite. I personally think its lots of funny. The easy takedown feature is also a huge timesaver. I give it an 8/10, only cuz the rear sight suks and wants to wiggle out after I shoot it some. So I use a red dot now
I have one. It's fun and cheap to shoot. I don't really get why people complain about disassembly and cleaning
whats the difference between the regular Mark IV and the Mark IV 22/45? Just the grip?
The grip is one difference. I like the angle a lot cause my carry is a 1911 so it's pretty natural. Mine also has a threaded muzzle and the rail to go with it, both of which the standard doesnt have.
I bought the exact one you have in picture. I think the rails are a little cringy so I stuck a light on the bottom and a C-more red dot (I just had one, don't ask why I don't even know where I got it) and now with a suppressor it looks like some kid's wet dream idea of an assassin's gun. It's neat I guess? I'd show pic but I'm rotting away at the pawn shop today.
Think the magazines are different too.
u work at a pawn shop ? lol
Mhm, 2 days a week while I'm in college. You see some interesting shit and get to buy some really good gear for cheap. My boss doesn't know shit about a lot of military gear so I've bought some bad ass gear for cheap because he just wants it gone. I think my best buy was an original HK claw mount with 30mm rings and the factory 1" adapters for like $25.
I said gear for cheap twice now I look retarded. Oh well that'll teach me to proof read I guess.
Get the Lite. It makes more ammunition subsonic.
Based self aware autismo
how so
22 handguns are literally pointless
Explain
22/45 is on my buy list. Do railz have a significant advantage over a dovetail red dot? This looks nicer than rails IM0
I have the rails, would prefer dove tail for my red dot
fuggg i really want one
those rails will be easier to undo. I made a total hash of mine trying to get the rear sight out with a punch.
The Hunter is drilled for a picatinny top rail and comes with one, just not pre-installed. In fact, I don't think Ruger makes a version of the Mk III or Mk IV that doesn't come with a picrail either pre-installed or loose in the box with the gun.
They are for shooting varmints. They are also fun for plinking.
shorter barrel
The mark iv threaded stainless comes with the picatinny rail and it’s threaded. Little under 500.
