Big Iron!

I'm no guns

I bought a Russian capture P38 on boot leave and didn’t get the chance to fire it before leaving for school of infantry feels bad.

I bought a .44 mag as my first pistol

>first real hardcore winter
>go shooting
>wonder what would happen if i shot my .22 at the ice straight down
>.22 ricochets straight back and hits me in the face

Also
>shooting with friends inna snow.
>walk out to targets, SKS still loaded
>slip and eat shit, with the muzzle whipping right past my one buddies head
If I hadn't let go of the rifle I would've squeezed a round off into his head.

I bought a CMP Garand and I unknowingly shot corrosive surplus ammo through it. I let it sit for a month in the safe before realizing that the barrel and gas tubes were covered in rust.

Built a PSA upper+Anderson lower

Hanging out at my friends house and he showed me his dads guns. Friend went to bathroom after showing me and safe was left open. Now I got a new Browning hi power

Jesus why does it have 2 cylinder latches

>have Lee-Enfield No1 Mk3 sporter I bought for ~$125 two years ago
>don't shoot it much
>four months ago get beautiful and complete No1 Mk3
>put N1M3 sporter in back of the safe and pretty much forget about it
>eventually the rear sight ladder and elevation slider rust up and bind, little did I know
>decide I should probably sell it since I don't love it
>find the rust problem
>really don't want to lower the price so I remove the sight assembly and soak it in CLP
>can finally separate ladder and slider, but slider is still locked up
>fiddle with it for a couple hours with no luck
>find out from internet the lock assembly on the slider can rotate
>won't rotate easily so I decide fuck it and take a pair of pliers to it
>clamp down and rotate vigorously
>it finally starts to move
>after soaking the slider and wrenching on it again the lock spring finally starts to work
>still rusted so back into the CLP it goes
>it's still there right now

The slider lock button is all scratched up where I wrench on it and on some places of the slider body, too. At this point, I don't care. I'll just get it working and sell it off to the next guy.
Forgive my negligence, Jow Forumsube.

shame

I still have not cleaned my guns since my last 2 range trips, and my P-64 hurts my hands when I shot it. It has more kick than my 1911

Did you leave it at the armory or somethin?
