What's the most customized gun you have?

If you don't have one, what gun do you want that you'd customize the hell out of?

None, but an HK pistol and be done with it instead of buying a shitty Glock and spending 10k on it to get it half as good as an HK.

I carved a hole in the front handguard of my hatfield single shot shotgun to make it fold more tightly. It looks good and made it a lot more portable.

It's still a shit shotgun though. I probably shouldn't complain about a $100 12 gauge but when you can bounce the entire gun on your finger resting on the trigger you know that it's a shit gun.

I'd buy an old 870 Police Magnum and have a bayonet, flashlight, extra ammo shit, better sights, the whole deal. Make it my "Everything" gun.

Not sure if it counts, but I've been wanting to sup up my completely stock VZ-58 without undoing any of the rifles inherent aesthetics, ambi safety and mag release, extended bolt release, all that good stuff without taking away from the classic beaver barf stock look.
Not sure if I'll ever get around to it though.

A 10/22 I built years ago. I bought the cheapest model I could find (A youth edition at walmart), sold every part except the receiver, and then rebuilt it with everything else aftermarket.

Other than that, a couple ARs with a variety of aftermarket bits on.

still looks better than the HMG repro

Beretta 71 with a massive scope on the false suppressor

My 870

it started life as a Police magnum with wood furniture.

I put a houge buttstock on it, a Surefire Foreend(The old style with the 2 battery compartment), a mesa tactical side saddle, a +2 from..somewhere, and a buttstock pouch for more shotgun shells.

I then bent the arms and polished them up so the action is smooth as butter, I cut and shaped the follower to turn that +2 into a +3.

the shotgun, including the tube, chamber, and all the accessories I stuck to it, will hold 25 shotgun shells on/in it.

>buy Hk
>replace stock sights with night sights
>replace mag release with extended mag release
>replace stock springs with match springs to get single action on par with glock
>buy aftermarket rail to use accessories

vs.

>buy glock
>replace stock sights with night sights

>Not customizing your gun for the sole purpose of making it YOUR gun instead of just A gun.

who the fuck buys a glock and doesn't replace the trigger?

anyone who wants to avoid ADing while holstering their gun

98% of glock owners.

Cz75bd
Cajun reduced reach trigger kit
Match barrel
Rubber grips
Black dovetail sight and front fiber optic sight
Cerakoted it with sniper grey frame and graphite black slide.

Got it second hand from a pig for 450 with the match barrel, had to fix a hammer pin, other than that no issues and went crazy on it.

Hmm probably my 10/22
Pistol brace
That aluminum milled handguad that holds the receiver, forgot the name.
Has a rail on it
A bipod
Has a Threaded 5.5 inch barrel

A junk ass DPMS .308. But of all guns in my collection what I really want to customize is my Ruger Vaquero and USP Expert.

Shooters who realize that you can't buy away your training induced failures.
Also this. Anyone here remember the multiple aftermarket triggers that have turned out to not be drop safe over the years? Pepperidge farms remembers.

The stock trigger on a gen 5 is really not that bad. It’s a bit mushy and has some take up, but it’s more than usable. Not every trigger needs to be a 2.5 lb glass rod break, especially on such a general purpose handgun.

I put a sling on my shotgun
I'm too cheap to buy most mods, just whatever is in the bargain bin at the pawn shop

>Buy HK
>Take out a second mortgage for mags
>Done
Vs.
>Buy Glock, immediately unhappy with how it handles
>Buy new trigger
>Spend time polishing all the components
>Buy new sights
>Buy new trigger
>Buy new recoil guide rod
>Spend time cutting and texturing grips and slide
>Cut slide for RMR or buy RMR
>Buy a new barrel for your new gun because reasons
>Spend twice as much as an HK and STILL not be able to hit the broadest side of a barn at 20yds

My 10/22, I probably have $700-800 in it.

VEPR 7.62x39 Sporter

>Installed bullet guide and filed down mag release to take regular ak mags
>Dremeled off thread protector and added "darkness" flash hider.
>Replaced stock forend with ronin grips custom forend
>Removed thumbhole stock and installed ARFX-E with DPMS extender using Krebs M4 adapter
>added zenitco rk-3 pistol grip

Currently deciding on an optic but I'm thinking maybe something like a po 3.5x21p.

>Not every trigger needs to be a 2.5 lb glass rod break
Agreed. I wouldn't want a super light trigger on a carry gun anyway.

My gripes are not with the pull weight of the trigger, rather it's the incredibly cheap feel, especially of that shitty little safety lever in the center of the trigger bow.

How would a man masturbate himself reading a porno mangá? What a ridiculous way to get orgasms lol

If you're not happy with a stock glock trigger, then why would you settle for an HK? Their triggers are considerably worse.

Stop projecting your lack of skill, a glock handed by someone with proper trigger control will outshoot any race gun used by tards that believe it's the arrows.

Protip: it's always the indian

I am happy with my stock 17’s trigger, or more I’m not spending as much money as the gun costs to make it “better”. It shoots fine as it is. I don’t need to pretend it’s something it’s not.

And the USP does not have a shit trigger lol, only gun I bought and did nothing to, has a nice clean break with just a touch of take up and a nice firm, tactile reset.

No, I’m saying that anyone that buys a Glock and does all that, generally sucks ass at practical shooting since “I took a class bro”.

>pic
If only glock grip angles were exactly as that, maybe then I'd actually like the blocks.

I have a Frankensteined AR. I actually like changing its setup/look more than I do shooting it. It’s like playing with LEGO’s. It’s not that I don’t like shooting it, I just find longer distance precision shooting more fun/relaxing.

I keep my 17 and 19 stock except for night sights, trigger is good enough for a service gun. Only gun whose trigger i tricked out was a cz, and that was a short reach kit because I'm a handlet.

I agree that most people think if it ain't a 3lb sa trigger pull with a dot gucci handgun it's useless

Same with my Beretta, and I’m not even a handlet, the short reach steel trigger just feels better than stock plastic and has a better DA pull and SA break and reset.

Makes shooting the Beretta much more consistent and even my Aunt was like “whoa this is a nice trigger” haha. And it’s on stock springs too.

There’s just a difference in improving the gun for improvement’s sake and “improving” the gun due to boredom and an excess of finances.

Not that it won’t “be” better but the main tool to work on is yourself in any case before you start to see the advantages the Gucci gun brings.

I bought a Ithaca 87 at a gun show, had an autism fit, and modified the trigger group to turn it back into slamfire just as god intended

I just buy them because I like to look at loli butts
what, you think someone with a compensator and a laser on his 92FS is gonna buy for practicality?

>magpul stock

you wot?

I carved a Serbian flag into the hand guard of my aK and slapped a flag sticker on the butt stock.

This be my cz, i did a cerakote job on it because reasons, the short reach kit because handlet, the pig i got it from had beaten it badly so had to put a drop in barrel and a new hammer pin (was locking with the frame due to being loose). Got it dirt cheap so it was justified. Fiber optic sights because why not. It's my competition gun. Total package is around 800 bucks between gun, parts and cerakoting.

I will wield it against any 2011 gucci "production" gun and most retards race guns

Attached: IMG951110.jpg (1280x960, 164K)

Also built and hand fit a c96 from parts of about 40 difdernt guns

I'm an agelet, and I missed a beaten to shit 75b for $210 at the local gun store. Serious holster wear, no corrosion or anything, just well used.

I think I know you, did you do the cerakoting to make the slide fit better?

I made my 17L's trigger very light and definitely not drop safe with a vanek custom adjustable trigger housing
Its pretty decent now with no pre travel

Other than my ARs, probably my Victory.

>Tandemkross Victory trigger
>Tandemkross Thunder hammer
>Tandemkross mag release
>Volquartsen extractor
>Nikon red dot
>Mag safety bar modded so that it fires without mags
>random pieces of talon grip stuck to the grips
>zip tie on trigger guard so I can use my support hand to keep the muzzle down for rapid fire

My most fun gun.

Holster wear can always be refinished, and for that price you can do anything to it. They still pop up from time to time, keep looking friendo.

No, that one fits just fine, just wanted it to look cool. But arw you in fl by any chance?

Do you live in the US? I'm hyper paraniod about purchasing loli dojins.

My 870 Marine Magnum. Over the years it's gotten different stocks and forends, different safeties, scatter gun ghost ring sights, metal trigger guard, timney trigger fix, vang comp work, light and sidesaddle.

kek, I'm not ashamed

Probably my Beretta.

Hello... Was it me you were looking for?

Attached: _20190301_193621.jpg (4138x3366, 1.95M)

Probably this meme machine.

Not sure if you would consider it “customized” but it’s actually an AK that I’ve gone out of my way to make as original and non-compliant to 922r as possible.

don't be silly user, yours is just a more expensive version of mine

I do, the only way anyone knows you're buying loli doujins is if the mailman or someone at the post office is looking at your packages

>don't tread on me
>puts brace on SBR instead of stock

I have an 1886 winchester. I forged a saddle ring and slide bar and then tenoned it into the side plate.

Most customized is my WASR. Surplus handguards & grip, East German night sights, and a sling make for 4 parts. 5 if you count bakelite magazines yet to arrive.

>what gun do you want that you'd customize the hell out of?

Banally an AR-15. Extra normal shit like suppressor, A1 grip, quad rail, 1-6x optic, IR illuminator/laser, different charging handle, etc.

Attached: AKMak.jpg (3064x1648, 1.1M)

M1A would love to be able to buy it.

I don't know if an AR build counts as "customized", but my autism sniper is definitely unique.

Attached: received_395923374584946.jpg (4032x3024, 645K)

My SLR-104FR

I spent way too much money on it

Zenitco meme stock, some ultra light hand guard, autistic cerakote, that stupid adjustable gas rod, sabrewerks mount plus aimpoint.

It looks cancerous as fuck but it is my favorite gun to shoot.

My cheap DPMS Oracle.

> UTG quad rail system
>forward grip
>magpul stock
>genuine colt LE bolt that I may or may have not acquired from my national guard armory
>vortex red dot
>magpul buis

All in all, I know it's a cheap stater AR but quite frankly I'm not an AR type of person. I just got it for under 300 and I figured..why the fuck not. It's been a good rifle so far also, the UTG shit that's not from Amazon is amazing. The quad rail is heavy but I personally like my rifles heavy for better handling of recoil and balance. I personally don't see the point of modifying weapons but if you dont get an AR and modify it, are you really truly an American???

Assuming my race guns don't count due to most being completely custom from the maker.
Either my scorpion or saiga 5.45

I was thinking more along the lines of when ordering from japan/outside of the US. Within the US at least officials have to have a warrant to search your mail.

>even vaguely saying you took something from the armory

Retard. The military does not follow the same rules as civilians and will buttfuck you for posting that if they ever found out it was you that said it no matter how much you didn't actually say you did it.

G19 rmr cut slide kkm barrel. Paddle mag release so thumb can grab it without repositioning hands. Vickers slide release.
1022 bx trigger and a different bolt hold open so i can rack the bolt and it will just drop so i dont need to use another hand to remove the bolt hold open.

Ar15 rails and basicbitchness but comfy enough without putting all kinds of shit i wont use

disgusting

>ar-15
Actually just swapped out a bunch on mine day before yesterday
>took off generic rail and replaced it with a kryptek furniture set
>added optic
>added fake suppressor for lolz and aesthetics

Add a flash can instead, at least it does something compared to a fake suppressor

kakindustry.com/kak-industry-slim-extended-m14lh-flash-can

keltec p32 with a laser sight because the sights aren't meant to be great, lasers are cool, and I already have combat training with them. Extended mag for grip and because you can't have enough .32acp rounds.
Probably going to spray painting every so if a soccer mum or antifa democrat nut with a grudge assumes I have it and wants to file a false complaint the details are more noticeably incorrect so I don't have to randomly rotate between different types of guns that look dissimilar from one another for carry.

>Eva Unit 01 magazine

Attached: 1549232356327.jpg (480x480, 25K)

Neat and checked.

Keltec RFB by far. I've spent years getting mine to run just right. It's a Keltec product through and through, meaning questionable QC and reliability BUT great rewards if you get it working. It takes a lot of inspiration from the FAL. I really REALLY like the size, balance, trigger, and ergonomics of the RFB. The big reason I am afraid to consider it my “go to” gun over my FAL is that it has a couple rather delicate components inside it (where the FAL is bomb proof). The main difference is the extraction and ejection system.

The extractor system kinda-sorta works like a delinker on a MG but inverted. The extractor claws pull the spent case out of the chamber, elevates it, and shove it into a dump chute. These extractor claws are the primary fail point on these guns. If one cracks, extraction and elevation do not occur, and a stoppage happens. It’s not common for these to crack, but it is the primary point of failure inside a failed RFB. Despite the fragility, I have been very rough with mine and haven't had a part break yet.

The other “weak point” I’m afraid of is the ejection chute. It’s very well protected within the gun, but it’s just a stamped piece of thin sheet metal. If it gets bent or deformed, the gun is out of service. The only ways this can actually happen are if you man handle the part during a detail strip, or if an extractor claw fails and shoves the brass into the edge of the “funnel”. But I’ve only ever seen one story of that online with pictures from one user. Cheap, warrantied, and available now....but who knows a decade from now when the RFB goes out of production or if KelTec folds.

The gas system is very picky too, since there’s no real buffer to allow over travel/ overgassing of the gun. You have to learn and fully understand your particular RFB and what it wants as far as gas setting (there’s 43 gas settings, double that if you factor in removing/ adding gas rings to the piston). KelTec shipped these guns with 4 or 5 different versions of the gas piston, each requiring their own setting paired with whatever specific ammunition you’re shooting....and an entirely different piston all together if you want to suppress it (supplied by KelTec upon request).

Great care is needed with the gas system. I have seen photos of receivers warped and bent outwards, from the sheer speed and energy of the bolt carrier slamming backwards. But again, like any Keltec product, get it tuned right and it rewards you. Mine now has the recoil of an AR, and brass falls in a little pile right in front of my muzzle.

Over the years I've customized the hell out of mine, but I've finally figured out the PERFECT setup for it.

>suppressor piston to reduce gas
>griffin linear compensator (provides just enough backpressure to cycle without a can on it, while still being within the gas systems max-vent setting while suppressed)
>NO quad rail, I discovered it fucks with your accuracy. Instead I leave the barrel naked, and use an RND inverted bipod. It utilizes the top rail instead.
>kydex top cover for max comfyness and cheek weld.
>Eye relief is tricky with bullpups, so I switched to an Eotech EXPS3 holo sight, with 3x magnifier.
>Custom-fitted Moses Polymer mags. Once of the few that makes a decent FAL magazine. Bad mags are the primary reason for unrelability, cold war fal mags are notorious for poor function.
>QD sling mounts directly on the polymer chassis.
>polished feed ramp

After all that, it's one of my favorite 308 battle rifles. 1000 rounds through it with zero malfunctions. Definitely not a beginners gun though, much pain and suffering.

all my doujins(except one) are from japan
you're golden, user

pull the trigger faster.
forgotten weapons did a video of revolvers like that.

my gen1 sub 2k in glowk fowty problem solva

didnt plan on doing anything to it at all but my dad bought me a red lion precision forend/front sight for it and it kinda just went from there. it totally defeats the main purpose of the gun i lost the original plastic when i moved, and im not too worried about it.

the muzzle brake came with the RLP forend/sight.

cheap $20 (field sport?) chinesium red dot sight i used for airsoft a long time ago. it broke after a couple rounds when i put it on my AK and i had to fix it, i put it back together and loctited the fuck out of it and now 0=1 and 1=0. (if you were wondering what the 1=off marking meant). it hasnt fallen apart since and it holds zero surprisingly.

and the hogue rubber grip is there because if you put the magazine in skewed it splits the two halves of the receiver slightly and pinches your hand. lol

made a bootleg single point sling mount with a shitty amazon scope ring rail mount and a UTG single point sling (towards the rear near the charging handle)

i dont plan on doing anything else with it cause its my beater/truck/camp gun.

its a neat little carbine, its not the best but it works. it was also my first semi auto. ive had it since i was around 15 and theres no real reason to sell it.

the ar15 came with a ak74 style brake which i thought was pretty neato so i included it in the picture.

There was no such thing as a snubnose revolver before J.H. Fitzgerald. His autism lead to Colt introducing the Detective special(essentially a cut down police positive) and then years later S&W came out with the Chief's special and the snubnose was born.

I'm planning on buying a standard carbine variant and a red dot for my nephew but the aftermarket world for the 10/22 seems so vast.

You got any photos of it? Sounds like an unusual looking one. Not a lot of options for actual battle rifles kinda sounds like it's worth the hassle of getting it to work right.
