Modern Assets in Future Warefare

In 50 years time when we've moved on from already aging yet versatile things like AR-15 platforms and C-130s, what do you think will happen to them? Will we one day be fighting hajis equipped mostly with bubba'd ARs or will they just be scrapped?

Our great grandchildren will be flying B52's in space. They will never go away.

>what do you think will happen to them?
Nothing. Both are still very much usable and there's still going to be shithole countries where the local fighters have nothing to actually engage the latter with, or to stop the former's rounds effectively.

this The AR15, Kalashnikovs, B52s, and HMMWVs will be used up-to-and-including Humanity's extinction.

>not mentioning the T-55, Nugget, Ural 4320, and the ACU Uniforms in UCP.

>50 years time
US won't even exist 15 years from now so your whole point is moot.

Well what happens to the equipment and vehicles then?

I AM ETERNAL

THERE IS ONLY .45 ACP

You do know that STGs are still in fairly extensive use in the middle east, right? There's a munitions factory in Syria still producing 7.92x44. This shit never goes unused. It's just not new, so gucci fags aren't drooling over it.

Ma Duece will still be there. Servicing targets, eternal.

There won’t be any wars after another 30-40 years

>Will we one day be fighting hajis equipped mostly with bubba'd ARs

No, for two reasons:

1) There will not be any muslims in the future

2) AR15's are trash, they would obviously use AK's because of reliability

they need new engines, our tech is so much better now they need to upgrade

Space C-130s coming.

The M1 Abrams will be in use past the end of the 21st century in the armories of the US national guard to front line combat use by Islamic techno-barbarians

I think the U.S. will scrap their inventories but you will still see today's small arms in use by 3rd line and irregular forces in backwater areas of the globe. The Mosin-Nagant, a rifle dating from 1891 (128 years ago) for example is still in use today.

i dont know what weapons WW3 will be fought with but WW4 will be fought with sks and nuggets

Guns are guns. As long as we're still throwing lead at each other I can totally see space pirates wasting each other on Mars with AKs, 1911s and 50cals. Same with most crewed weapons.
The way things are going right military tech is getting exponentially more expensive. I predict first world nations with small, hyper-advanced militaries and every body else just buying old US, Russian and Chinese surplus.

Ma Deuce is 100 years old now. Unless a revolutionary method of energy storage is introduced to replace smokeless powder, or something totally replaces steel, firearms will be basically the same as today.

>US won't even exist 15 years from now
People have been saying that for over 200 years, and we're still here.

And for all that time, demographics was relatively unchanged. Now the US is under a massive invasion and demographics is making a big change.
Countries don't survive massive demographics changes.

Someone post the greentext about a dude using an M2 on mars

>space warfare in a world of brown muttoids who can't create basic modern infrastructure
