Yeah, that's literally what I was pointing out, retard. The force of the projectile being propelled forward will cause the opposite amount of force backward into your shoulder. It doesn't matter if the projectile is being pushed out the barrel by compressed air or combusted gunpowder. If you fire a .22 caliber 40gr projectile at 1,000 ft/s through an airgun and .22lr rifle, it will have the same amount of recoil.
