What are some shitty tanks in history
Shitty Tanks Thread
it was an experiment. made from scratch without plans or deeper knowledge of tanks other than they're armored cars that can shoot things. made out of pure desperation of having nothing to counter a japanese invasion that was likely at the point.
it didn't deserve all the hate and laughter.
Wdym thats the best tank
Good job bob
Panther
Tiger
Königstiger
>Königstiger
ok
>panther
>tiger 1
gay nigger tanks
It literally LOWERED morale when it was revealed in a parade.
Fact: the Bob Semple tank has never suffered a combat loss. That puts it on par with the M1 Abrams
>King Tiger
>okay
It made all the same mistakes the Panther project made and turned out WORSE
then maybe their shitty country should have invested more in their defense forces during peacetime so they wouldn't have had to retrofit tractors with armor and bren guns.
na mate. we just acted poor and stupid so the dumb fuck yanks would give us some free shermans. played you like a mother fucking flute
Imagine how fucked it would have been if all of the mechanical issues, logistics, allied air superiority, etc. didn't make the King Tigers useless.
I assume you mean all types of AFV
Hetzer was effecient as fuck
>Can't spell efficient
It checks out. You meant to say "Stug"
Having shit tanks beat not having tanks at all
>manpower, materials, and manufacturing capacity
>all for a product that has a chance of being blown away at first contact, or even worse not even making it to the front
Saddling yourself with armored shitpiles can be much worse than just not bothering
But M1s have suffered a fuckton of combat losses already. Leclerc is the new standard of NEVARBINLOST.
Long boy
Stugs were also great, but 38t's are an even shittier chassis and the hetzer made it useful
>Bob Semple has lost less units in combat than an Abrams
it has suffered less losses than every model of tank or apc that has ever seen combat. or training accidents.
That seriously looks like the tank in Super Mario 3
Tommy cooker
This fellow comes along to disprove your statement. Its sides weren't even proofed against high-calibre pistol rounds - this "tank" had less protection than modern body armor.
Where can I read up on this tank for that claim? The Wikipedia article claims it had a default 11mm of chrome steel + 5.4mm spaced on sides after model 210/400 for protection against K bullets
