Going with a true dissapator build, rifle length gas and 16 inch barrel. keeping the a2 front sight block. Probably going to get a rifle length Magpul drop in handgaurd as well. Apart from that, no signifigant changes.

I honestly couldn't choose. If the FAL wasn't a Century, I would choose it. It's just so slick, smooth, and sexy. The PTR is easier to use for lefties like me, though, and it's never failed me. Hoping to get an M1 Garand in 7.62 NATO at some point. What make is your double barrel?

I'd love an FAL. I've got a buddy with one in .243 that's a lot of fun to shoot. They're just hard to find in my area.
The double is an "Enders Special Service" in 20 gauge I picked up from a local gun store for $90. It's got a small dent in one barrel and I've had to put two new firing pins in it, but otherwise it works pretty well. Been kicking around the idea of sending in my $200 to make a lupara, since the barrel is dented, but I'm not sure I ever will.
It's a fun gun.
