Highly embarrassing post. Anyway, if I get stationed overseas and impregnate a local lass what are the consequences if I pull a nig and abandon them if I get restationed/leave military?

Civviefag here
my brother who recently started army basic a couple weeks ago for 19k (pretty sure he posted here, you might remember an user trying to make himself shorter by compressing his spine so he could be 19k) called my family a couple days ago saying he's in crutches because he pulled a tendon.
What happens now, will he still be able to graduate? I'm assuming his graduation is gonna be delayed, if so, by how much do you think? Will he likely be transferred to a different unit once he's healed? I thought I heard my mom say that he was told this shouldn't impact his graduation date but I doubt it. Also how accurate is pic related?
Still shows up when I search for meg

Attached: Snapchat-809859340.jpg (2960x1440, 936K)

Also how long would you think it'll take for such an injury to heal to the point that he can resume training?

None if no one finds out. however, if they find out the punishment will vary due to diffrent child support laws in diffrent countrys. Just wear a condom, you'll catch aids if you don"t.

What are they going to do once I'm out of their country though? Send ninjas?

nothing most likely, however you might have to pay child support if the woman doesnt live in a shithole, but most likely not since your going to be in another country by the time she finds out.

Haha shrinkfag BTFO'd!

You stupid fucking retard why didn't you put a name on this
When I control f it takes me halfway through the thread in the catalog making it impossible to click on
Fucking stupid idiot fuck you

i get the feeling that this is just someone that wants to do what shrinkfag did but is scared of getting injured

Can any of you lads tell me how bad of an idea completing uni, going to OCS, then joining the Army Corps of Engineers is? I hear mixed things about the Corps of Engineers but I want a pathway to really nice contractor jobs after the fact. Don't know if I should bother with joining or just stay a civilian and look for engineering work elsewhere.
Doesn't help I'm the only male in the family not in the military and everyone shuns me for it.

Attached: tumblr_pp3g5kLCIs1ud1xg1o1_500.png (440x482, 120K)

Is it bad that I'm intentionally keeping myself fat so i can finish school before going to military?
Plan is to keep my weight up until next check up.

AHHH IM SORRY PLEASE DONT YELL AT ME ANYMORE I PROMISE I WONT DO IT AGAIN IM SORRY

So, here's what happens.
Homeboy gets recycled, he picks up where he left off, and graduates. They just want you out of OSUT.

Thinking about taking a semester off college and going into PSYOPS in the reserves. Than transferring into uni and joining ROTC.

Or just skipping the whole reserves process and attending ROTC. Which do you guys think a smarter decisions in terms of doing Army SF down the line as an officer? That's my ultimate goal regardless of either path.

Attached: 5_0_candidates.jpg (600x341, 36K)

I'm considering PSYOP for it's airborne training and the knowledge I'll gain from the enlisted side.

How hard am I going to get bullied for having no family, no letters, and nobody to call?

If I do a conditional release to switch from reserve to AD Air Force. Do I need to go back to meps or take the asvab again?

is it wrong have feelings for private mittens i want to hug and pet him

so long as they arent sexual its fine :3

Just a heads up to anyone considering USAF, because I have seen a lot of confusion/misinformation in these threads. Right now they are looking for electrical, mechanical (as always), and linguists. And even with electrical, almost ALL of the contracts being kicked out are for open electrical (9TEXX or whatever). If you go in wanting Loadmaster, In-Flight Refueling, Medical, Flight Engineer, or any other "comfy" job then expect to be disappointed. You are going to be playing the lottery on a much larger scale than you think.
As it stands right now, if you are called by your recruiter with a job or the open aptitude that was on your dream sheet and you say no, you will 100% be discharged from DEP with no ifs, ands, or buts. There is no more saying "I want to wait to see if something higher on my list comes up." NO ADMINISTRATIVE, that entire category/aptitude area is full. You are required to put down an open aptitude area. Mechanical, Electrical, or General. Yes, I know that sucks massively.
There is only one way you can avoid putting down an open aptitude area. Each recruiting flight, generally, has one or two jobs that they have an insanely hard time filling, and it varies from flight to flight and between job release periods. If you qualify for one of those jobs, you MAY be offered a chance to put that as the only item on your dream sheet and get kicked that contract right out of the gate.
>inb4 larping depper/neverserved
Just trying to help you guys manage your plans and expectations. If you are not willing to accept an open aptitude area or an AFSC that you put on your list just to "fill a slot" (you have to put down 10 minimum) then be prepared to get DEP discharged and find another branch.

do people jack off/fug while at sea? if so, where?

>do people jack off/fug while at sea?
yes
>where?
everywhere

If you are considering joining the army, do not join combat arms. Don't do it.
You won't "see combat."
You won't get cool training.
You won't experience camaraderie or whatever other gay reason you have.
You will do janitorial work, vehicle maintenance, or busywork every day. Your training will be pant-on-head retarded and your chain of command will treat you like garbage.
You will never touch a CIB.
The war is over. It's not worth it anymore. If you have a burning desire to join the Army, be an intel guy, a supply specialist, NVD repair guy, anything, as long as it isn't combat arms.
Someone is going to read this post, ignore it, and in 6 months think back and realize I was right.

So you can just randomly find cubby holes with enough space to wank/fug? Are there spare clossets where I can make my secret hidout?

Attached: INCABELLE.png (1062x886, 190K)

I said everywhere, didn't I?

Pretty sure most people going into those these days are doing so to move on to other specialties, sniper, ranger, SFAS etc.
If someone unironically joins just to be 11b in peacetime they're fucking retarded.
But the American truth is there's no such thing as peacetime, and so they try going SOF

It's too late for me user, I leave Monday. RIP

Yikes, you better have airborne at the bare minimum.

How reliable are the spots? can I find a place that will stay untouched for at least a week? I plan on going GSE so that should help

Naw, 19D friend. Hopefully the 19,000 bonus I got will have been worth the 3 years I'm signed on for.

Hey I'm going 19D also.
Thought of any good comebacks when infantry starts roasting the fuck out of you?

Alright when you leaving? Maybe we'll unknowingly be in the same vicinity soon.

yes good goyim, die for your jewish masters

September. I swore in like a week ago. Grateful for the delay so I can get my skinnyfat ass Jow Forums

Nice, good post

at least you didn't pick infantry.
too bad most 19d units blow.
A guy in my units scout section was at JBLM a while back and after some scouts in a stryker went off a cliff during a training accident the command told everyone to keep training because in a real battle they wouldn't stop fighting.

Yeah, and being a brain surgeon isn't easy either, but only one job involves dealing with and being managed by retards and braindead supervisors. Stop trying to convince people to do a job that has nothing to offer anyone and will continue to have nothing to offer anyone for the foreseeable future.

Buddy you do know that hospital managers shit on surgeons too right?

great, my point still stands. lemme know when you get to live out those cod fantasies of yours as a regular 11b.

I'm taking the OPAT next Thursday for the Army.
What am I going to be expecting?
ty in advance

easy, it's like a minimum 160lb deadlift, a standing long jump, seated basketball throw, and a beep test run thing. You'll only fail if you're a 14 year old girl.

What said, just did it on Monday and it was a cakewalk

I'm a fucking skelly tho, if I do badly will they delay my ship date or sum?

Unless you're Eugenia Cooney skelly you should be able to do all of that

Attached: 1549125691084.png (619x616, 464K)

Yeah you're right, we should abolish the military all together while we're at it, wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable or get their feelers hurt. Get real, pussy. Boohoo, user wasted a few years and cleaned some rocks, certainly that means war will never happen again.

again, you've probably never been in the military.
there is no point to joining combat arms right now and there won't be for the foreseeable future. even if a war happens it won't be the same level of force as 2003 or even as the last decade.
stop trying to deceive people into joining a garbage mos for no reason. while you're at it stop putting words in my mouth.

>when you join as 11x and never try to work up to anything

Which companies should I invest in, what are the winning lottery numbers? I'd love to take advantage of your fortune telling abilities, prophet user. In the meantime, stop acting like an angsty teen just cause you got your hole stretched by the big green weenie. If you're gonna cry like a bitch about people putting words in your mouth go ahead and take the dicks out of your ears and rev up that 4th grade reading comprehension textbook. I'm not promoting the infantry; I'm calling you a dipshit turned clairvoyant. Considering your track record (signs an infantry contract expecting COD) it's fairly reasonable to say you're a complete retard and your amateur opinions on geopolitics can be completely disregarded.

Like I said, even if there was a war in the near future, it wouldn't remove the problems that plague combat arms and will continue to plague combat arms for the foreseeable future - terrible leadership, retarded peers, and a culture that encourages people to treat themselves and others like trash. a CIB won't overcome these, and the fact that combat arms mos's are dying for e5s and e6s is telling of the fact that most people are choosing to escape the sinking ship while they can rather than re-enlist for another serving of the same trash they've had for their first go around. the fact that action is rare and getting rarer just exacerbates this problem - I know plenty of guys who say they'd stay in if they were doing something other than training rotations and binge drinking.
go ahead, sign on that dotted line and try it out if you think I'm lying. I'll be waiting.

What's the experience like? Any stories?

Srs question, how do I prevent back pain when doing situps?

yeah well i got bored of as a beer and joined the YPG. pretty overrated experience . arabs smell bad also combat is boring and you don't get to do much killing just dying . also everything sucks. was fun to shoot pkm at a goat but theres no medical care so i lost a thumb which sucks cuase now i cant play with my prostate

Attached: storytime with houthibro.png (1847x220, 50K)

Which is better to go for these days, 03xx or 11x? What are the pros and cons of both of them? How do they compare?

03XX
>longer boot camp/get yelled at more
>clean toilets for marines
11X
>inferior uniforms
>clean toilets for soldiers

At the end of your enlistment you can either say "I was a marine" or "I was a soldier" while really doing nothing marine or soldier-like

nigga you was born with two thumbs

Mostly it's going to come down to choices of duty stations, opportunities for schools, and promotion rates.

Marines have a couple great duty stations, but a ton of shitty ones. You would also not have any opportunities for schools, and would likely get stuck at E3.

Army has a few dogshit duty stations, a lot of decent ones, and a couple great ones. If you aren't a turd you'll probably make E5 and schools will come your way provided you don't suck

its kind of sad being born in my era. was born in 1999 currently pretty sad that i didnt join 2 years earlier(not implying seeing combat was any more likely then), the possibility of seeing combat now is next to none unless i get into SOF.... feels bad man..... if i was born just 8 years earlier i could actually have done something... being a veteran is cool and all but being a combat veteran is more distinguished, i know countless people have said it isnt all that its made out to be, but fuck me man

army and its SOF counterparts actually has a chance of deploying , its seems like even recon and marsoc arent up to much these days.... marines seem slightly more toxic, if i were you id do neither and get some cushy pog job then if you are a stud you can go to ranger batt.... that is if you actually want to do your job in combat, which given your question id assume so, if not have fun being a glorified larper who will sit in garrison for your whole contract and hate your life.... ask yourself this, do you want to actually do the job you sign up for. or do you want to larp and hate every second of your life this goes for both marines and army infantry

Hey, I went and spoke with an air force recruiter and told him a list of 4-5 jobs that I really wanted to get if I could that mainly consisted of airbourne intel, and I know I am qualified for these. He said those jobs are especially rare and hard to get and I had to fill out a sheet with five jobs or more that I want and 5 that the air force needs and an open aptitude area. If I got a job that I wanted far less and denied it I would be discharged from the DEP and my air force career would be over before it started is what he told me. Is he jerking me around or is this how it really does work? My #1 pick is 1a8x2, am I really that unlikely to get this job?

1. Why in god's green fuck would spell "airborne" as "airbourne"? You think Jason Bourne is flying that fucking plane?
2. It's commonly referred to as aircrew, because airborne typically refers to paratroopers, which are Army not Air Force.

would you*

Thanks for letting me know that I was mistaken in what I was calling it.

>Is he jerking me around or is this how it really does work?
Varies depending on the recruiter but that sounds normal. My recruiter's policy was any 10 jobs plus an aptitude.
>My #1 pick is 1a8x2, am I really that unlikely to get this job?
flying jobs are pretty uncommon.

I'm curious, what are the jobs he gave that "the air force needs." I'm guessing all maintenance?

How long would DEPS be for Security Forces in ANG? Not that long, right?

>you was
At least I was born with more than 2 brain cells

I was under the impression that you get to choose your MOS before going into OCS. I just discovered that you choose your MOS depending on your standing in your graduating OCS class. Does anyone know what exactly happens with OCS and picking your MOS? I’m open for info on all branches. My Filipino blood tells me to go Navy, but I still wanna learn how to use a gun so I’m leaning towards Army or Marines. Air Force need not apply.

MARSOC deploys plenty. (Force) Recon basically doesn’t do shit, but is a decent way of picking up some schooling.

Airborne is purely career development and has been for decades. It literally doesn’t mean shit. At best you’ll get sent to Italy. I love jumping out of planes, but jumping rounds sucks and really doesn’t mean anything these days.

CA/PSYOP is pretty decent. You’ll have the opportunity to get attached to various SOF. Good way to get a foot in the door and meet some people. Plenty of people transition to various SF support roles in Group.

It never hurts to have experience, or have a working opinion of what actual military life is like. Regardless of what you do, you’re going to be spending a decent amount of time in Big Army before you’re even eligible to attend SFAS as an officer since it requires you to be O-2(P).

I’ve never had any desire to be an officer, given that even as an officer you’re basically still there for admin. You won’t be on an ODA for too long if you make it anyways, as that’s dictated by rank. Once you’re promoted out of your ODA it’s all basically admin.

You could always just go from NG CA/PSYOP to NGSF. NGSF is cushy as hell, and you end up basically end up with the best of both worlds. If you had the desire to do so as an O, you could still go get your degree, and either stay NG or go Active.

Either way good luck.

I'm going to the navy recrutor in a few days, can I get some tips on how to make sure I get GSE and not get strong armed into being a nuke?

A society run by E-4s

A society run by O-1s

A society run by E-7s

A society run by O-6s

Which would be the most functional and which would be the least?

Attached: enlisted-ranks.jpg (300x300, 53K)

>society run by E-4s

Nothing gets done.

>society run by O-1s

For the next year or two there is no coherent leadership until they learn.

>society run by E-7s

Everything at the low level runs well. Nothing above that functions at all.

>society run by O-6s

We already live in that society.

What about

a unit run exclusively by Filipino E-4s
versus
a unit run exclusively by black E-7s?

Yikes. I'm not sure anything is worse than black E-7s, except maybe black E-3s.

Are there ANY units with a chance of seeing combat right now? Rangers? SEALs?
