Most and least aesthetic gun logos

Starting off with the least aesthetic

Can't decide between this and FN for the most aesthetic.

This. They both look cool in my opinion.

doesn't get better than this

Aesthetic as fuck, unlike their guns.

All I see in this thread are a bunch of opinions.

Attached: BERGARA.jpg (2000x1333, 917K)

No shit dummy, you can't quantify art. This thread calls for nothing but opinions.

Get out.

Attached: glulge.jpg (1200x1800, 320K)

Yeah that kinda was the point

Also I'm going to exit with the old Aero logo as my #1.

the new Savage logo does indeed look like shit

From a graphic design standpoint, that logo is a fucking nightmare.

Beretta is nice. In the same vein of S&W but way cleaner.

Good. Clean. Modern, but not really. I like it.

Too simple and lacks any character. Entirely forgettable.

This is an interesting one. From a complete outsider point of view, the logo itself is nice. It is balanced, unique, and stands as a character which tends to be a lot easier to recognize and remember compared to a lettermark or more abstract symbol. However, I've never been a fan of the "R" in the middle, and as someone who is aware of the brand and the type of guns they're known for, I absolutely hate it.

That's debatable, as there are definitely objective good and bad choices in graphic design and logos. However, I'll admit that some logos can be fucking awful but still "work" simply because of how long they've been around or how famous the brand has become regardless of their branding style.

What's wrong with it

Their new polymer stocks are even worse
Legitimate nightmare fuel right there.

I can't believe they changed it from this to a headless man sitting on a toilet

A screaming bird is pretty fucking metal. Not sure why more companies don't use dragons or lions or shit.

it all started with canning the old 10/110 BA with the heavy aluminium chassis

>Good. Clean. Modern, but not really. I like it.
That's been Izhmash's logo since 1939.

>invokes thoughts of America
>sharp lettering is aesthetic

Attached: iu[1].jpg (1476x740, 226K)

no worse than a really tall man walking into a dark room

The S&W logo? It's a clusterfuck of line, weights, and negative lines that leave you wondering just what the fuck it's supposed to represent. The FN logo is better, to be sure, but could still use a little cleaning up.

Hence the "not really"

It's too much, honestly. It may invoke thoughts of America in color, but a successful logo also works in black and white. Would it still read the same? Also, drop shadows tend to be graphic design faux pas

All these posts and no crossed cannons?

Its almost as if the logo was made in a time when fine line work and filligire was valued, and graphic design wasnt around to cater to the lowest common denominator and make logos as bland and lifeless as possible.

Colt logo is simple and unmistakable so long as you don't recognize Anderson as a real company.

Non! Logo cest bon.

This

one of the most elegant yet not overly flashy

Attached: 270px-500px-Mauser_Logo.jpg (270x312, 35K)

DWM's later logo was quite similar to the Mauser banner. The early DWM script logo, as seen on the center toggles here, was quite elegant.

Accept no substitutes.

Holy shit, you're alive!

Long time no see, how's that deck looking?

I like this Gilboa logo. The simple sans serif font makes it look modern and friendly.

Okay.
And your taste still sucks ass though

This is infinitely better than the massive A carved into the side of the reciever/stamped onto the bolt carrier.

Almost makes me want to save more just to avoid their horrible modern logo.

Garbage
Nearly this whole thread is garbage

This is the only right answer besides puc related
