I know this is bait, but there is no service that comes close to what steam offers. The epic store offers literally 1% of what steam offers, and I'm not talking purely game numbers, I'm talking back end features that no other platform provides. Switching away from steam would be so detrimental to my gaming that its a moot discussion. Steam is still the best option for gamers if you care anything about options, user choice, modding, in home streaming, VR gaming, reviews, sales, streamlined returns that are player focused not company focused, or having tools on hand to help you know if a game is shit or not. Other platforms just want your money and don't give two shits about your feedback or user experience. The moment you click "purchase" you're dead to Epic.
