I've never handled or shot one but other than that funky ass slide mounted safety it looks gud to go

It's def a decent handgun

Aside from the weigh and the snaggy stock rear sight, they are cheap and top-tier reliable.

>not a valid argument

i think the P series is so aesthetic. Just one of many guns I will own when I get money.

Marbled Bakelite on a Makarov is gorgeous and aesthetic. Maybe you should stop performing oral sex on so many men. Then you might stop thinking about cocks all the time

They're kinda ugly, but I have to admit those Rugers are actually pretty nice

>Name a better handgun, protip, you cant!
The Ruger P series were a failure and they dropped the line in 2013 for a fucking good reason; as cheap as they were, few folks actually liked them.
I own a P-85. Although it shoots well and is reliable, it's a big block of mixed metal that didn't really find a place except for sort stints in a few-- very few-- police departments. I got my P-85 from my dad, and that's the only reason I keep it.

I shot a P85 before and they're okay but they really bring nothing to the table that wasn't already available especially by 1985. With things like the Beretta 92, CZ clones, S&W Model 59, SIG P226, Glock 17 and everything else that was on the market, it didn't stand out. Also if you are looking for one make sure to get it with the warranty work done. ruger.com/P85Recall/index.html

They sold pretty well from what I understand and no one seems to hate them. It just very middle of the road.

The original wonder 9, the Browning Hi Power

Yup, Ruger 89, hell of a gun that was. Made a good hammer if you ran outta bullets too. I'm stickin' with my 1911 for real work though.
