The Russian imperial standard had a two headed eagle (or "double eagle") to reference Byzantium, the Second Rome, with Russia being the Third Rome. But if Russia is third, why not have a three-headed eagle? And as long as you're doing a three-headed flying creature, why not use King Ghidorah?
As far as I can tell no one else has done this yet.
King Ghidorah is the ideal symbol of Modern Russia. Both critics and fans would dig it. Flags, t-shirts, and patches.
Proposal: modern white, blue, and red horizontal tricolor, surmounted by simplified spread-eagled Ghidorah (with necks spread out symmetrically and facing viewer) in yellow or gold with black outline. Ghidorah is cut off at the waist by the bottom of the flag, don't worry about seeing the whole thing.
