LGS stories, I’ll start
>be me, 20, looking for a rifle, nothing special, had IWI in mind
>inb4 kikeshit
>go in, immediately greeted by boomer and tell him I’m looking for a Galil, modern Ace 52 in particular
>heh, why would you want some piece of junk foreign made gun kid, I got a bunch of AR15s that’ll make you a man
>kind of insulted, but I’m here for a gun, brush it off
>ask his opinions about PTR, heard from some “buddies” that they’re nice, I gave a UPC in particular
>PTR? What’s that?
Judging by the 50 AR’s he had on his wall, I wasn’t surprised.
>couldn’t find any PTR91’s
>bring up the DSArms FAL, he’s never heard of them either
>get fed the fuck up and just ask to see an AR, 7.62 only
>tells me he’s got this new one in stock, not too many in the US rn
>HK MR762 in its all-gleaming glory and beautiful machining fresh out of the cardboard womb
>instant erection.pdf
>Tell him I’m actually surprised at the quality of the manufacturing and MOA specs
>heh, H&K’s got it goin, they perfected the AR
>test fired a few rounds and made .6 MOA without even fucking trying.
And that there, Jow Forums, is the story of how i got myself into 2 easy monthly payments of $1,900

>boomer
Nice buzzmeme, you millenial zoomer fagbox.

>3900$ dollars
fucking christ is it really worth the price tag? What the fuck do you do

naming a gun is the same level of disgusting anthropomorphizarion as furry shit

You’re a fucking bitch made faggot

eat shit boomer

>person who would consider buying a cast receiver FAL
>being able to afford an MR762
Pick one.

Rooooooooooxanne

jesus christ he's wearing basketball shorts

I agree. I name my cars, tho.

I make base pay $15 an hour for Kroger, but there’s this incentive program we have going right now where I make right around $22 an hour. Guaranteed 50 hours a week

You bought a $4000 rifle at age 20. What the fuck

I bought a $12,000 Barrett M107 at 18 for shits and giggles.... Not everyone is shitty with money.... And no, I didn't inherit money... I inherited a fucking farm and I work 18-20 hours a day running it and I play on the weekends... I'm almost 30 now and I pay my employees $22 with benefits starting out. My part time weekend workers ( usually some of my friends kids in that are in highschool) get $25 per hour for part time, insurance, and work every other weekend.

>And no, I didn't inherit money... I inherited a fucking farm
>And no, I didn't inherit money... I inherited a lot of money
lmao privileged faggot
>I work 18-20 hours a day running it
lying privileged faggot lolol
It's okay to admit that you're daddy's money, just stop being a delusional cunt about it

Fuckin nice OP. I'm thinking about picking one up too. At the very least you can rest assured in the knowledge that after it's inevitably discontinued, it will skyrocket in value like all HKs do.

You're fucking deluded if you think you're self-made after inheriting a business.

>not too many in the US rn
they're literally manufactured in Georgia, as in the state

There still aren't a lot floating around, as the Georgia plant has been running at capacity making rifles for the Marine corps contract.

They aren't difficult to obtain. An HK dealer either has one or can get one. They're also retarded expensive for what they are and for niche customers so there is little incentive to carry them.

Don't fall for scarcity bullshit on shit that's made in the US.

>3000 a year
>at capacity
you fell for a meme

>Don't fall for scarcity bullshit on shit that's made in the US.
I mean you're right of course, but at least the gun jew wasn't completely lying. They aren't exactly common.
>They're also retarded expensive for what they are
Not really, pretty par for the course for a precision 7.62 AR platform rifle. Honestly the only thing that is overpriced about them is their retarded proprietary mags.
>b-b-but I can build an Aero m5 for 1/3 as much!
And shoot groups 3x the size. I mean granted, it's accurate enough. But the MR 762 is pretty crazy accurate especially when you consider it is getting that accuracy out of a longer-lasting non-stainless barrel. Every other high end AR10 is in the exact same price range and generally they DON'T have the reliability of a service rifle to back up their accuracy as well.

>And no, I didn't inherit money... I inherited a fucking farm
>A small loan of a million dollars

Stupid fucking entitled poorfags. Why didn't they all just inherit farms lol?

>They aren't exactly common.
He was lying and you're an idiot for believing him. They are scare due to their cost and nothing more.

Good job putting words in my mouth, fuckwit. Also, you do realize the service rifles and the civilian rifles are near totally different as far as manufacturing spec and materials, right? The barrels aren't even the same type of steel.
They pass QC at 1.5MOA. Also, you have no idea what you are talking about. Match, competition AR10s can be had for $2500 or less. Anything more is a silly boutique rifle with no measurable increase in performance. I shoot comp and nobody shows up with MR762s.

I can't believe I fell for such low quality bait.

>scare
Misnomer. They aren't something I'd describe as 'unavailable' by any means.

You’re not even 30 and your friends have kids in high school? You lying fucking faggot kys

Attached: 73DCEFC7-C209-49C1-A6A0-43BEB0FA7060.jpg (538x482, 98K)

>service rifle to back up their accuracy as well
Idiot. The service rifles and the civilian rifles aren't even made in the same country. Let alone with the same equipment or materials.

>Not everyone is shitty with money
>Fell for a $4000 meme and pay farmhands over $20/hour

Okay bud.

>But muh sub-MOA HK

As other anons have pointed out in this thread, it's honestly not a big deal and their inflation is artificial. There's a reason 1MOA is considered GTG for most competition rifles.

>>test fired a few rounds and made .6 MOA without even fucking trying.
That's not how that works. I also doubt that you found an indoor range at a gun store that allowed you to shoot to a distance that would allow you to measure that. That would also require boutique match grade ammunition. I'm also going to doubt that you just went and shot .6 MOA with irons just test driving a $4000 gun at a range before you buy it, which is silly in and of itself.
>b-b-but I can build an Aero m5 for 1/3 as much!
Nice strawman. Armalite comp rifles are for all intents and purposes more accurate than the ammunition you would shoot out of them. Meaning they are made to a tight enough tolerance that the ammunition is the limiting factor (as is the case with most competition guns). Those are $2000 guns.

>There's a reason 1MOA is considered GTG for most competition rifles.
Finding ammunition that can consistently shoot better than that is more difficult.
>>b-b-but I can build an Aero m5 for 1/3 as much!
>And shoot groups 3x the size.
False. Aero Precision ARs will shoot about .75 MOA with match ammunition. They are common in competitions and shoot right up there with Armalite and other custom brands (very, very few of which are $4000 and the ones that do hit that price point are far more customized).

>Finding ammunition that can consistently shoot better than that is more difficult
Right, that's what I was eluding to. The rifle is not usually the limiting factor beyond 1MOA.

*Alluding. It's late.

That's financially irresponsible at 18 no matter how you try to spin it

What's even funnier is MR762s are 1/11 twist barrels. Most comp AR10s are 1/10 or 1/12. While it won't make much of a difference, there really isn't comp ammo for 1/11. 1/10 is the popular choice and 1/12 is older and less common. Even if they had put in match ammunition, it would not be correct for the twist, it would be slightly off one way or another. That will cost several tenths of an MOA and I don't actually think it's possible to shoot better than .6 with .308 consistently.

He doesn't spend his money on lots of stupid shit, just one stupid big thing.

Old Boomer set you up right.

Attached: boomer.png (380x349, 77K)

I only named my first gun because around the time I picked it up my first dog passed away so now I have a Blackhawk named Lacie

>22 an hour for Kroger
The fuck do you do? I only make 9 an hour

Nice choice and welcum inside the MR senpai.
Can you post some internal close-ups for my fap folder ?

Not bad kiddo, pretty jealous. But I bet you could have found one cheaper

> 20 year old that doesn't know shit about guns

He can pick both

You got boomered my dude. This exact situation happened to me at a Chevy dealer, except I didn't buy the Corvette. OP, I salute you and wish you godspeed in your quest to light your money on fire.

These threads are literally "I'm so angry I want to leave a bad yelp review but the stories are all just making me appear autistic to everyone outside of my bubble"

>i didnt inherit money, i inherited a business worth a lot of money

>spend $12,000 at 18 for shits and giggles
>not shitty with money
pick one

people like you are why communists exist

>i didn't inherit money
>i inherited a farm
i don't even

I bought a $2500 wrist watch at 18... I had the money, saw it in a display cabinet, liked it, so I bought it. *shrug*

I also worked my ass off and paid $400k cash for my first home at 31, so it's not like I have a pattern of poor impulsive spending.

And to trigger k, I own 3 PSA rifles

>I don't actually think it's possible to shoot better than .6 with .308 consistently
Wat

Thank you for supporting PSA as they endeavor to support our poor Californian brethren.

Which is probably even worse

False. Choose between Starbucks every morning for year, or OP's rifle.

>paying cash for a house
You’re a dumbass

>$3800 for an AR
Yikes

I love poorfag salt threads.

>He doesn't read his guns a bedtime story before tucking them in
It's people like you that create the stigma of gun violence. If you raise them right, they'll never shoot anyone.

>I'm a debt slave and you can too

>MR7.62
>first gun
>nameing it

What a retard zoomer you got it because of video games didn't you you manlet fag

This. I was paying $7 a day in parking for over a year. If I'd have just parked a little bit further away where I park now, I'd have slightly bigger calves and be halfway towards an MR 762.

>paying interest
good goy

I... I don't feel dumb... But is that the because I'm too dumb? I'll need to sit in my house (literally my house, not a 30 year mortgage bank owned property) and think about it some more when I get home from an actual job. What are your plans today? Are your parents still paying their mortgage at 60 years old? They're proud of you, I bet. Why don't you refinance and buy them a cruise in the Bahamas

>t. retarded financially illiterate poorfags who don’t understand markets and the time value of money
>not paying a 3-4% fixed APR while making 15%+ returns on the balance of your $400k after the down-payment
>choosing to forego free money
All of you are willfully ignorant retards.

I built an (obviously) overpriced AR last year with the best shit I could find and it still only totalled to 2.3k

How the fuck does someone justify a gun for 4k out of the box? For that much I want to build the fucker

Or you could do neither and spend responsibly

i'd push myself out of a helicopter if it meant someone would take daddies money off you

Lol, he doesn't make $22 an hour unless Kroger stores are completely different from the rest of the enterprise. Salary positions start at the equivalent of $18 an hour and nobody I knew (including myself) never talked about dollars per hour when on salary because we had no idea how many hours we would work week to week.
> t. Recently left Fred Meyer Home Electronics Baws

15% return sounds awesome thanks for the tip boy oh boy why don't more people just invest and earn 15% fuuuck so goooood

Line puller. I work logistics, not retail

Holy trips have spoken, OP is a gargantuan scale faggot with a glory-hole for an anus.

this user is right though....
T. Landlord

One example: fixed 3.25% on rental property. Monthly income from said property is 267% of mortgage...
Also, my equity in the property has exceeded the loan amount by double since purchase.

Helps if you can buy as-is and aren't a soft handed bitch who needs to hire out work on the property.

PWS > H&K
but nice rifle anyhow.

Attached: IMG_0329.jpg (2098x1576, 361K)

Possibly he is, depends on the mortgage rate he was offered. You don't have enough data to make that call

15% is very optimistic. 30 year average market return is like 6-7% so if this dude had shit credit or non-existent credit he might have gotten hosed on the loan. Not even considering the property maket by him....

Yeah he probably should have financed, pic is 50% equity 50% debt

>foreign guns are junk
>has no problem selling a import for 3800

Enough people wound up underwater after 2008 that I don't trust my luck enough to speculate with money in that manner. I intend to get into real estate in a few years but doubt I will be more than just a landlord. It depends what you want really. The security of a property that won't be taken away from you if the economy goes south is it's own value. I am still pulling myself out of wage slaving so I see being debt free as a good thing, though I recognize that good debt exists. I just have shitty luck and with my luck I'd get in deep and have the market bust.

totally understandable. God speed user.

Attached: IMG_3400.jpg (2448x3264, 622K)

U inherited equity and a way to make money. So u in a sense did inherit money in the fact it was ready to bring in money. You're a privileged fag learn to be more humble when some of us inherited debt, junk, and pain from our parents.

[Music playing]

Not OP, but why is it his responsibility to be sensitive to your situation?
I don't mean to be a dick, but he isn't responsible for your feelings.

Attached: 1487609034436.gif (220x307, 2.39M)

Thank. Looking good, hope you continue to prosper.

Not OP but if he wishes to avoid creating young socialists he needs to STFU. The only thing keeping America running is the waning middle class. The more people realize the American dream is disappearing and that class mobility isn't really a thing anymore, the faster socialists will be elected and it all goes to shit.

I'm not saying OP isn't a complete faggot, but at the same time I don't like the precedent of "you have it better than me, so you should feel guilty/pay my way."

I hear you though.

I work 18-20 hours a day. We were almost 600k in debt due to weather damage and several illnesses about the same time my father died... That not being privileged , that's being handed a failing farm and raising it from ashes. We are now debt free and I hope to keep it that way. People are only poor because they choose to live that way. As I said, I pay my help good money, but they work their ass off for it. It's no where near easy like you think it is, but managing money and being disciplined when it comes to what you have leads to a prosperous life. We average an income of 60-90k per month.... That's 7000 acre farm and 176rental properties... You have no clue how much of a headache it is most days, but it does make life easier when hard times come along.

You are showing before-tax income figures. 8% return 'average' is closer to about 6% after tax, and when the mortgage % was 4.5ish, that 1.5% extra that investing MIGHT have earned me isn't worth the risk

I am currently renting out the house and since no mortgage my % yield is infinitely big vs your yield

>The security of a property that won't be taken away from you if the economy goes south is it's own value
This, and I wanted to wipe away a lot of my liquid assets so that I didn't have to put a lot down on my FBAR

Anyway, go to Jow Forums and preach about debt

Kike gun

Kill yourself. Not reading the rest of your garbage.

Good on you my man!
I too have a few zero mortgage rentals. I wouldn't recommend maintaining that equation for someone looking to rent multiple properties, unless you have unlimited capital.

Attached: 1470332001836.gif (500x281, 3.47M)

What are you running for income properties, multi-unit buildings?

Plan was to re-fi the house, take out 80% of the equity, use that to make as many 20% deposits on other properties as I can and effectively boost the $400k portfolio into about $2M but then I ended up migrating to USA sooner than expected so for now it just earns me a bit of play money each month

>We average an income of 60-90k per month.... That's 7000 acre farm and 176rental properties... You have no clue how much of a headache it is most days
You can literally sell 95% of it and retire tomorrow, go fuck yourself with your feigned hard life

>>paying cash for a house

I'm sure he appreciates his family user but most millennials who inherit farms sell them and squander the money on cocaine and trips to ibiza

>abloobloobloo we inherited hectares upon hectares of assets and make fat stacks but had to work hard to keep the opportunities most people will never have. it's hard being rich.

my heart bleeds for you.

id be surprised if that rifle can fire more than 200 rounds in a row without jamming. in fact, get through 2 mags without a FTF and let us know

Hire me please ? I work at local gunstore for minimum:(

at least the barrett is a reliable weapon.

>Also, you do realize the service rifles and the civilian rifles are near totally different as far as manufacturing spec and materials, right?
Completely false.
>They pass QC at 1.5MOA
And yet everyone is getting sub-MOA groups out of them.
>Match, competition AR10s can be had for $2500 or less.
And those from premium brands cost more. HK is one of those brands.
>I shoot comp and nobody shows up with MR762s.
Sounds like you only associate with poor people. Just kidding, it's a heavy fucker, that's why.
>False. Aero Precision ARs will shoot about .75 MOA with match ammunition.
Their AR15s will. Not the M5, not from what I've seen.

Christ almighty get out of shitty jobs that literally any monkey can do. Get skilled in a trade, I make $35 an hour because I got the fuck out of cable and learned CAD, and not only do I get paid well but now the company I currently work for is literally paying for me to go to school to get a degree.

How do you even afford this hobby at $15 an hour?
