God dammit Beretta why don't these things take PX4 mags out of the box? 90 series mags might be more common but come on.

9mm is godlike.

I wish only they made subsonics more, like ussr 9x18 was.

Are there any decent pump action PCCs right now? Caliber isn't a big deal

Attached: medium_frame_with_octo_barrel.jpg (600x450, 80K)

Aren't there two versions? One that takes PX4 mags and the other takes 92 mags.

>God dammit Beretta why don't these things take PX4 mags out of the box?

but they do

So is the main point of PCC cost? I feel like 556 nato rifles are always a tier in quality below PCC of the same cost, and the ammo is cheaper too.

just get lever actions in magnum pistol cartirdge like 357 mag

>youtube.com/watch?v=c7uO0jlRTAE
Considering grabbing this gun as my first one, gonna put a nice scope on it and try to take pistol rounds to the 300. 22 winmag also looks fun and really cheap and apparently you can throw 22 winmag lower on this and just shoot that.

Standing rapid fire groupings should be better at the 100m than 556 nato or 308

There are versions that take px4 mags out of the box. Also the insert is jist a piece of plastic you have to swap out to use either mag its not that expensive

How do you like it. Does it jam a lot?

I love it, after I bought it and before I took it to the range I watched hicock45’s video on it and I thought I bought a lemon but apparently some other user told me his jammed because of certain clear magazines or something. Anyway mine shoots great and I haven’t had a jam in the 500 rounds I’ve put through it so far. Pretty solid construction and a fun plinking rifle

If someone had one of these with an aftermarket free floating handguard with m lok capabilities would they be super gay if they put a foregrip on it? Asking for a friend.

Nice hipoint user

no

I probably wouldn’t get one but that’s personal taste

Different user, mine has been reliable with more than 2k rounds through it. A fair portion of that was cheap steel case ammo, the rest was a variety of ball, hp, standard pressure, and +p loads. I only tried out lighter weight loads though, only 124gr and 115gr.

I'm using OEM Glock mags, and magpul mags.

Another another user here.

When it was brand new out of the box it would choke every now and again. Not really a whole lot but just barely enough for me to question if it was a good purchase. I googled my issue and several people said it was happening to them until they broke in their extractors. I kept with it for a bit and yeah. It hasn't choked on me after like 150-200 rounds. I got a glock stick mag after long so I had to swap out the wells which meant a new extractor. Again it would choke now and then but after another couple hundred it runs like dream. The only issues I have now are those super cheap glock mags with steel case ammo. It just sticks in the mag but it's an issue of the mag and not the gun.

So, whatever, it needed a little breaking in but once it was the gun itself hasn't had a single issue. Even when it would jam it wasn't too freakishly frequent. Maybe one every handful of mags.

Oh, and picture related for this post. Those glock mags just don't like steel case ammo but it runs brass just fine.

Get the insert, then get sum MecGars.

Available generally? No, but IMI once made a pump-action rifle in .357 Magnum and I think maybe .44 Magnum, it was called the Timberwolf.
You can look around for them, but they're long out of production so don't expect any startling deals.

Cost is about the same, but you get a far less noisy gun, particularly with short barrels (.45ACP is subsonic as is, and 9mm Luger is very quiet with subsonic 147gr loads), also it kind of just feels different.
Some people also want to collect neat guns, so they buy an MP5 clone because they watched Die Hard last week and thought "Gee, that thing is cool." and then buy one, which is like half the fun with guns.

Oh yeah, and indoor ranges tend to be more lenient on them, as opposed to bringing in a PTR91 pistol and having dust fall down from the acoustic ceiling tiles with every shot.

Lever-actions are all well and good, but some like to pump it.

What's the groupings at 50m with it?

There are modern Colt Lightning clones.

Pic unrelated, but my Uberti 1873 in .357 mag.

That beretta storm is the first gun I ever shot. It will always have a special place in my heart. That SBRd is kinda cool unless that’s a pin/ weld

Where are my Uzi (((bros))) at?

Attached: jewzi.jpg (2304x1536, 624K)

Oy vey.

Attached: UZI-Patch.jpg (4032x2268, 2.2M)

I love these kikeomatics.

Would love a modernized one desu.

What should I get if I’m in a cuck state? Just about anything made before 1994 is totally in the clear as long as it’s not banned by name. Post 94 needs to comply with the standard AWB rules.
Pic related, a pre ban oddity I’m picking up from my FFL later this week

Attached: B14E999A-F3E9-4E05-8ABE-F4F67AC4B0C0.jpg (750x478, 39K)

You gotta tell us what that thing is.

Tec 9ish upper on an AR receiver.

It takes Thompson mags via the upper, it's in .45, and it came out of Sendra's factory while they were having their asses sued off. The AR lower it's on isn't finished. The mag release, magwell, mag catch, bolt catch, and buffer tube all haven't been milled out.
That's pretty much all I know, I'm going to pick it up, take a bunch of pics, send Forgotten Weapons a message about it, and then take it to my gunsmith to see if he can comeplete the AR lower on it which would give me a pre ban pistol lower that I can tell everyone to go fuck themselves with (they're almost non existent and cost $3k+ when they do pop up. I got pic related for $430)

I really fucking want one but only if I can fine reliable drum mags for it. I want to larp it as a modern PPSh

Jesus what a mess

It looks like it would be cool with a brace and a fake can (or a real one).

Thoughts on Ruger 77/357 and 77/44?

I either want this or a scorpion with a binary trigger... or maybe I’ll richfag it and save up to get a b&t or Turk HK.

Attached: FA1F3D36-B03C-4166-8BCB-F8CF168ADCD7.jpg (660x370, 134K)

Nice light carbines, you get a lot of extra juice with .357 out of a longer barrel, and certainly with .44
Magazines can be mildly fidgety, particularly with specials.

I like lever-action .357s and .44s, but I wish there were more kinds of different rifles in revolver cartridges on the market.

Need to buy some ets mags.

See
OP fucked up and bought the wrong version of the gun.

The CX4 can be modified to take either. It has an insert in the magwell to convert to 92fs.

See above

Okay, but tell me one thing.

The barber is the a man who shaves all those, and only those, who do not shave themselves. Does the barber shave himself?

Does a dentist perform dentistry on himself?

How does one mount a supressor, a compensator for that matter? Would pick related be able to mount any bumfuck silencer?

Attached: eqweqewqwe.jpg (640x311, 36K)

Just screw it on until you hear the click.

..so do basically all barrel manufacturors design their barrels with suppressors in mind? This one literally just looks like a tube.

On that exact rifle picture, the barrel needs to be threaded for a suppressor. Luckily, the barrel comes out of those rifles without tools, and would be very easy for a machinist to chuck up in a lathe and work on.

I'm thinking about getting an AR-9 with my cz but not sure if I want to get an AR-45 instead

make my bad decision for me

I am looking for a budget PCC. Considering the Sub2000 and the Ruger PCC any other contenders?

Attached: IMG_0406.jpg (4032x3024, 1.94M)

PCC

Neat.

Attached: Untitled.jpg (1694x855, 703K)

I want it.

That book was such a good purchase, 10/10, would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in the subject.

are PCC bullpops a thing?

Such is the life of someone in a cuck state

There's some.

Pic related is the Algimec, which was some Italian company's failed attempt at trying to get Italian police to replace their Beretta M12 subguns (they didn't see a good reason to switch). They work alright, they use Hi-Power magazines, and the gun overall has the aesthetic that makes it look like it could fit into the original Doom games.

There was that Jard one, which took Glock mags, and the thing worked like absolute shit, which was very endearing at its high price point.

The Hi-Point has a bullpup stock kit available, which seems decent.
The Marlin Camp carbine had a bullpup stock kit available from Muzzelite, and Muzzelite kits were dogshit for Mini-14s, so I can't imagine they're better here.

There's also a 9mm carbine kit for the Tavor I think.

Attached: algimec.jpg (758x400, 25K)

There's a bullpup conversion for the HI-point carbine that I've heard is pretty decent.
Then there's the factory 9mm conversions for the Tavor and AUG.
IWI makes the 9mm Tavor from the factory and is pretty easy to find for the most part,
but 9mm AUG's are much harder to find since only a few conversion kits were imported and are expensive as shit.

So like.. I know this is probably the worst thread to say this in but..

That depends. Do you want to hit your target or do you want to look really cool?

Yes. Options currently available
>Beretta CX4
-9mm/45ACP (45 is rare as hell)
-Takes PX4/92fs mags

>Hi-Point Carbine conversion
-cheap as hell
-single stack mags only
-9mm/45ACP/40S&W/10mm/380ACP

>Scorpion Conversion kits
-Don't know shit about it, but it exists and hasn't been released yet.

Though to be honest most of these aren't true bullpups (CX4 in particular, though technically the hi-point is).

How the fuck is the CX4 a bullpup in any capacity?

downside to it is that it costs just as much as the hi point itself.

and of course... it's a fucking hi point

>Though to be honest most of these aren't true bullpups (CX4 in particular, though technically the hi-point is).

>scorpion conversion kit
I don't wanna buy a 2nd one god dammit

Winchester m90

.22 and fun as hell

Anyone tried out a Micro yet?

Attached: scorpion micro.jpg (1000x1000, 121K)

Straight stick magazines?

here, I don't have the barrel yet but I have the 6in barrel. I like it a lot but taking it around in a bag would be so much nicer with that smaller barrel

Love the tiny ones

>That book was such a good purchase, 10/10, would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in the subject.

Yeah, Shari Lewis is a good author.

Seriously, I hope you got your book signed. If you buy it from the link on Uzitalk Dave will dedicate it to you.

i definitely miss my scorpion, the pistol specifically. the carbine was just ok.
i am currently PCC-less, unless you count 22lr

B&T MP9

Tec-9

B&t tp9

That's a FAMAS G2

>2500$ ar

I need a good pcc for home defense

Hey. Rude. I mean you're not wrong but different niches and whatnot.

>and of course it's a hi point
It's a solid plinker, though I'd say if you go as far as I have you might as well keep going. 5lb spring trigger spring, polished trigger assembly and breech bolt. Fires great and gets way more attention at the range than any hi point deserves.

Attached: HTA-MBS-95-Short.jpg (2000x1333, 762K)

Get the hi-point Carbine if you want an actually decent budget carbine. You could other wise get the kel-tec sub 2000 which is a little more and fuck all ugly for about the same price.

No better feeling than LARPing in my boxers at night and clearing my house with this.

Attached: 79D2E97D-B03F-49B5-9F91-C216EE1D12CA.jpg (2050x1536, 916K)

fuck yeah. i want a vector so bad.

I really gotta plug the 10mm variant. Too much fun with a binary trigger and the long barrel.

I hope to own one of these before the end of the year

Attached: banshee.jpg (1280x720, 118K)

I don't care what people think, I love the white guns. Stormtrooper as fuck.

>tfw too cheap to shell out for a vector. Just have to larp with my pistol

Attached: 1468439912332.jpg (500x378, 74K)

Don’t feel bad bro i paid $1200 to pretend to be a stormtrooper and finger fuck a unique recoil system, we’re all friends in here.

My brother has one in 9mm, its fun as fuck to shoot. The only real problem is they're expensive AF.

9 mak is subsonic? I thought 9x17(380) was the only one out of the three to be subsonic

The ps90 is one, but I'm sure you're looking for one that feeds through the bottom like an AUG?
