Yes, even at $350 the quality is pretty hard to beat. Probably want to get a Wolff 21 pound recoil spring for it if you plan to shoot it much.

yes. it's a 100% parts matching rifle in terrific condition but I think either the forend or lower band is shit.

Ouch. Try swapping the lower band first. If that doesn't work, try removing the forend and seeing if something needs shimming.

Anyone know a reliable place to get a bolt removal tool for an enfield. I have an old No1 mk III that i love but I'm afraid it still has cosmoline in the bolt. It leaked a bit after shooting 20 rounds out of it.

Huh? Pull it all the way back and flip up the bolt head once its at the little ridged area on the right side of the receiver behind the charger bridge. It should be able to come straight out.

Is the cycle a Schwinn, or Harley-Davidson? In the meantime, check your gas tube if nothing else is frozen or welded shut.

I think $400-$500 (not cosmo) seems to be the going rate for a Yugo as I can tell. There's one on my local armslist for $450, one of only two surp guns up and I don't trust the other listing.

I'm too autistic to not get milsurp as new as possible so I'm probably gonna let some boomer jew me out 600 dollars for all the leather stuff and the logbook.

There is literally no difference between the two. Call and ask Lapua who loads that shit and they’ll tell you themselves. To clarify the M39 is chambered in 7.62x54r and shoots very well with heavier weight bullets around the 200gr mark. The whole “53r is different and special” thing is fudd lore.

Not to hate, part of the reason I don't have a Yugo SKS. Even tho Jow Forums has a love affair with "Operator's operating operationally" it comes down to wars in the end are fought and won or lost by faceless masses of patriot volunteers, naive volunteers, and conscripts. The rifle's carried by these people are the theme of my collection. There are people that pride themselves for snowflake guns, but thats not my thing. I'm a the common man gun collector.

Others may correct me but if I read right Yugo's do have one interesting aspect. If I haven't been infected by fuddlore, Yugo SKS GL's are based on NATO rather than Warsaw Pact RG standard. I guess they expected alot of captured use RG's.

Did I stutter in my first post? It’s fuddlore. Slug the bore of your individual rifle to determine the appropriate diameter to use. That being said, you’re not going to damage a .308 bore by shooting .310 or .311 bullets through it.

I will reiterate. Call Lapua and ask. Don’t solely rely on the fucking internet. Do your own research.

What's a good price for a 1909 Argentine Engineer's Carbine Mauser?

You're looking at 5 to 6 grand for the 3 you listed.

I bid $500 on one in a RIA auction a year ago, if you count the BP I paid $590 for the rifle itself. Mine is all matching down to the cleaning rod. I may have overpaid a bit but I have literally only seen 3 or 4 come up for sale online. One being RIA, the others on gunbroker, normally mislabeled as a cavalry carbine or mountain carbine.

Mine has also been arsenal reblued, the crest is intact but faded a little.
