To be fair, what would be a credible source in this case? It’s not like Russia would ever confirm something this embarrassing, and its not too hard to believe given their recent history of live fire mishaps. That time a help shot rockets at journalists observing the demonstration comes to mind.

Apologies for phone posting

Hopefully someone with substantial evidence like photos and explanation of those photos, like MiG-31 shrapnel wounds or something. The Russian military mixes fact and fiction so you sometimes seriously don't know which is which (some other time it's too easy to know). But American "News" sites also publish anything just to get clicks, so it is also a pain in the ass to check out the quality of their "Investigative Journalism".

At least pilot and radar officer survived the ejection. There is something positive about this.

That’s gotta be an awkward situation. Imagine having to work next to a guy that almost killed you every day.

Conclusive evidence of the shoot out!

Russians BTFO.

How does something like that even happen?

>There is something positive about this.
How is the survival of a r*ssian something positive?

>tfw you realize that this will improve the MIG-31's kill ratio
If they keep it up, they might get up to a 1:1 ratio!

I mean, it was an accident. Like Chernobyl.

Teamkilling a same model doesn't really improve its k/d

based American planes kill themselves much more efficient

Cope more, Vlad

At least it didn't shoot itself down.

A Dutch F-16 hit itself with its own 20mm recently. Don’t think it crashed, though.

Yes it does you clown. Basic math

Depends on what it’s k/d currently is. Though assuming it’s

At least it wasn't Syrians this time

Good point. Not sure if that’s more or less embarrassing, though, to be honest.
