I think it needs another 50 rounds through it.
Save $300 and get a Canik C100 if you don't need the rail.
Or save up another $200 and get a Sphinx SDP Compact.
My EDC is now a Sphinx SDP Subcompact with a +2 MecGar magazine extension.
I will still strap on the P-01 or a Full size TriStar/Canik L-120.

I hesitated until I saw that it was only the polymer buffer hanging up.

Close up of the differences in slide styles between the firing pin block guns that have a cross pin retention system and the Race guns that have a firing pin retention plate and no firing pin block.
Firing pin block plunger is the round bore with a cylinder in it that goes up and over the firing pin and must be lifted off of the firing pin by the firing pin block lifter.
Not having those parts is what makes a Pre B CZ75 able to have a shorter reset than a 75B model.
Easy to see the sliding plate on the Race guns.
Press in the firing pin with a soft dowel or punch and the plate will slide off.

Notice how the shape and length and angle of the kidney cut varies with barrel length.
That determines lock up timing.
Longer barrel, ,longer cut, more dwell time remaining locked.
Also feed ramp angles are revised in the newer P-01 and Shadow 2.
Shadow 2 actually has more metal and a generous fillet transition into the barrel.
Canik has the shallower feed ramp angle like the S2 and P-01

I really want CZ to import another batch, I didn't buy their CZ 75 compact because I like stainless for CC. By the time I heard about these they were on gunjoker for more than 1k. One asshole had his buy it now price set at $1500. Pay almost 3x what the gun is worth? Absolutely not.
CZ could raise the price and import more and they'd sell. Wish they would.

I was lucky.
It was my 50th birthday coming up and I was shopping around calling places and looking at a 75B Stainless High Polish locally and a P-01.
I don't like the original 75b style beavertail and prefer the Shadow, SP-01, Stainless, SA only extended beaver tail.
Even went so far as to take a sanding wheel on a moto tool to round off the Canik beaver tail to get rid of the squarish edge.
Alloy frame was easy to cut down and polish out. Haven't even refinished it yet. Probably won't as it is the bedside gun, throw it in the car console gun now.
Well, I was looing in other forums and a guy from Ohio come in and posted a pictue of all of the CZ boxes his store had in stock with the labels all arranged neatly and able to be read in the full resolution picture.
He had 3 99041 Steel P-01 and I called him.
Said I was torn between the 75 high polish and maybe the Steel P-01. He said if you can wait a week I'm getting in an order of 6 P-01 High Polish Stainless. What? No such thing in the catalog... He said we aren't an official CZ dealer and have to use a distributor, but that distributor deals directly with CZ EU on some orders. he sent me an email picture and I sent him my payment information immediately.
Then I went on the CZ forums and asked about a Stainless P-01.
Even CZ Custom had never heard of such a thing. So I just stayed quiet.
Poof, next week they all showed up on Gunbroker and someone resurrected that thread I started.
Just checked with them and no P-01 online showing in stock.
Call.
Actually FB message was nearly instant.

Here is My L-120 and Kimber Rimfire.
Shot both this afternoon.
The Canik still is a sure first round DA trigger pull hit on an 8" plate at 15 yards for me.
Not a super fast draw but smooth and steady.
LOK grips on it and a CGW spring kit with polishing job.
C100 would be a good PCR substitute if you don't require a decocker.
L-120 is alloy frame full sized.

A year or two ago, PCR’s were still somewhat in stock and they were below $600. Stock is low at the moment so prices are north of $600 online. But CZ ship batches. The rami was virtually unobtainable unless you paid for it a couple years ago but it seems there’s a good few on the market recently.
