What's the rarest gun you own?

What's the rarest gun you own?

Pic related for me. Not expensive, just not imported anymore.

Two COPs.
Fuck ton of less common surplus too.

Hi-Point .380 with factory compensator.

You didn't say valuable.

Gen 2 Glock 19 in the original tupperware case. Not exactly rare but they seem harder to find than Gen 3 onward.

my unrailed Jericho probably

Guns are rare? LOL k.

Probably my Rasheed

Rarest gun I ever owned.
Some poorly done italian clone of a S&W model 36 from the 70s. Apparently only something like 2-3k were ever made and looking at the quality that's probably for the best. Tool marks everywhere, rough finishes, action as smooth as gravel driveway. Thank god it's gone.

Rarest gun I currently own:
Blued Colt Python from the late 60's
or
PPSH-41 with hebrew arsenal/capture/whatever tag

Attached: PPSH41.jpg (1533x2048, 877K)

I have a few oddballs that had limited production, mostly milsurp. Rarest by production volune is easily my Grendel SRT-20F though.

Attached: 20180801_141929.jpg (4032x2268, 3.17M)

probably my tanfoglio witness hunter or maybe my 50's era H&R nine shot

1 is expensive, italian, imported (and kinda shit)

2 is just really old and cheap

Honestly none of mine are rare, the rarest might be my Garand but that's still really common.

I honestly don't know. But I think the long slide version of the XR9 is the lowest production number gun I have.

Attached: bobb.jpg (2000x1333, 698K)

I was going to say the same. I've got several surplus weapons, but they're all easy to get. Star BM, M57 Tok, Garand. You don't necessarily see them a lot, but they aren't hard to get either.

Not rare, until you need a fucking replacement firing pin. Then it becomes the fucking Spear of Destiny.

Its for sale.

Used to have a G41 (W)

I had a CZ75 *99021* for a while. Q of 1449 made

My beater Israeli police Jericho 941f with no import marks I guess
An old wasr without canted sights or any mechanical issues too

Merwin Hulbert Pocket .32 revolver.

Attached: 102_1490.jpg (1024x743, 708K)

I saw this on tampa armslist

No you didn't.

Winchester 1868 prototype, 1 of 1. I also have 3 of 7 or 8 known rounds of ammo for it, .46 OFW.

A .22lr bolt action rifle from a Canadian importer brand but made by Anschutz. I don't even think a thousand of these were ever made.

>A .22lr bolt action rifle from a Canadian importer brand

Let me guess....a true-dat with a 3" barrel with a red stock?

Luxembourg Contract FN-49 in 30-06

Wish I would have grabbed one while they were $300

I've one of the experimental Thornycroft bullpups. The only prototype they made that accepts a scope.

My jealousy knows no bounds

Hi frens!

Attached: Owl n MAC 1.jpg (3975x3447, 3.34M)

Both are Taurus's that escaped the importation halt. Two PT-132's and a PT-638.
Even range fudds like the high cap mouse calibers.

w-what?

I got very lucky finding it.

post moar pics

Why did you get rid of it?

HAHAHA Your special gun has a gay dolphin on it. NERD!

Only a few thousand made.
Probably less than 100 ever made in this caliber and only ~12 known to still exist.
Have a couple other rarities but they had made more of them initially so not really the same.

That's from NRA Dallas, right?

Mateba 6 Unica. 44 mag. Nickle plated. Never shoot it... Just sits in the safe and looks pretty.

Gimmie dat Rami boi

Probably just my matching sks or musket. However I did run into a guy who’s grandfather was a german clockmaker. He made a 4 barreled handgun with 4 fixed barrels. The hammer would rotate and hit the primer on each individual barrel.
He still has it and won’t sell it, I hope his kin can do the same.

looks like it has autism though

The gun itself isn't especially rare (4000 imported),
but the factory accessories are pretty hard to find, specifically the top-folding stock which is exceptionally rare.
Spare mags are also quite rare.

God damnit. I have a civil guard marked Spanish M43. Judging by known serial numbers, there were a maximum of 10k produced, and it seems like most of them are in Spain still for parade and training use. I have no clue how this made it stateside without an import mark. They tend to slip under the radar because civil guard marked 1916s are fairly common.

My MR73. Probably might save up and buy a proper non-surp eventually.

Attached: IMG_20180114_114114819.jpg (474x355, 46K)

Not that guy, but obviously, you sperg. Why embarrass yourself by typing all that shit out over such a milquetoast patently tongue-in-cheek jab?

do you know where i can buy mr88 grips?

>4 tons

Fuck off that's a heavy pistol

If I recall the MR88 is built on Security Six frames, so any Security Six grips should work well for them. If anything they might need a small pin port dremeled out at the base. I know the MR-73 can accept S&W K-Frame grips so long as they have the dremeled out pin for the grips to get flush.

Aye I got the same Rami too, got it for a cool $500 after tax

Rarest would probably be a first gen P99 in .40 S&W

how did you get the ppsh

I have a gen 1 p99 as well, but in 9mm. I've wanted to larp as 007 since I was 10, and now I can. Pretty comfy feeling.

Always good to see you owl user

>What's the rarest gun you own?
Polytech bakelite sidefolder

Attached: 730a_1.jpg (1024x450, 26K)

I have a TZ75, Desert Eagle MR9, a 10mm revolver, a Daewoo K2, a Baikal Import shotgun, a few P250s, a keltec p11and a V3 P2000.

I don't think any are truly "rare" or valueable, but its some pretty oddball shit.

Actually im fucking dumb i have a dan wesson discretion

Damnit boof that's not even fair.
This would be my rarest gun
>but user that's a chinkshit 1911 clone
Yes but it's the only one whose previous owner was James earl jones.

Also forgot the HK marked M1 super 90 I got new in box invited from the 1990s with the original receipt, spare stock, along, cleaning kit, and a free side saddle

>a 10mm revolver
For that alone, you're ok in my book m8.

yup

gib knock off P99

>Security six
Oh nvm. Thought it was built off of the gp100. I love the way the grips look on those, and wanted one for a gp100.

Always looking for a Shark FC with the factory ported barrel.

Not tgat rare but discontinued production, my Sphinx SDP Subcompact.
I don't have the spare funds to justify a Sphinx 2000 or 3000 right now but do lust for one.
After I pay off the house mortgage in a couple of years I will CC a 2000.
NO SAFE QUEENS.

Not sure which is rarest, but the two oldest fully functioning guns I own are a Norwegian Krag Jorgensen m1894 and a Swedish M1907 pistol like the one on this pic.

Attached: m07_k_fl_w[1].jpg (900x591, 48K)

The most rare I own (at least in burgerland) is a factory Swiss Arms 552-2SP Commando that was a swat trade in. Supposedly there were only something like 200 that were imported. Originally it had a really long flash hider that was pinned to the barrel so it could be sold as a regular rifle, but it was easy to remove once I got my stamp back. I also have the factory Swiss 552 to 553 conversion kit for it.

Attached: 2018-11-30 08.21.26.jpg (1199x674, 612K)

Pretty badass user. I wan't a full size 550. Hope I can grab one of the converted pistol imports in a few years

Select-fire Valmet M71, probably. Ooooh, I want one so bad.

Probably my Erfurt P08 (not sure of year of manufacture because it only has the 1920 stamping, but if I'm not mistaken Erfurt didn't make any post 1917). Not uncommon, but you don't see p08's every day.

Attached: PicsArt_12-15-04.20.11.jpg (1080x2001, 344K)

Wheres the Neostead user

RV-85 probably. 26.5 mm Czech grenade/flare launcher

3000 made, about 1000 in the united states. manufactured in the 80s, imported almost 10 years ago.
Its not legally a gun but i mean its got 1/4" steel chamber thickness..chrome lined

its a 4 gauge shotgun.

A gewehr 43 I had two but just have one now.

>tfw cant own guns
What makes a gun rare anyway?

Attached: 1522571798164.png (400x486, 46K)

Wänzl or Johnson. That or my Leubecker G43 that I'm scared to shoot.

Older = Rarer as a rule.
It can also be rare if it was made a certain way, then the country or company making it changed models of its kind in some way and it somehow remained in its original configuration.
Finally, stupid guns, prototype guns, or unsuccessful guns are almost always rare owing to low production numbers (pic related)
Guns break or get destroyed or worse, demilitarized over time.
For example ~7 million M1 Garands were manufactured but fuck if that many survived.

Attached: 1459006375.jpg (750x543, 42K)

The collector will say it is rare if it's hard to find a sample to buy. The historian will say it is rare if it's manufactured in few numbers. The seller will say it is rare because it was made on a weekday.

I HAD a s&w PC shorty forty. Great gun, but it was a safe queen. I think they made 3 runs off 500 for Lew Horton. Mine was a mk3.

imperial jap 12 gauge grandpa took as a trophy in ww2. they cobbled together about 300 double/single barrel shot pistols like this near the end of the war. under 5 double barrel versions estimated to still exist. it is a c&r

Attached: resize1.jpg (1920x1440, 1.68M)

Damn, that's fucking neato. Does it use standard 12ga shells or is it some special Jap shit?

Rarest I own is probably the 6" Beretta Model 70.

Attached: 20190218_180813.jpg (2560x1440, 1.33M)

I'm in the same boat, and I've missed the bus on the 551 and 751 pistols with > 16" barrels.

West German Walther PPK that was a wedding gift to my grandfather.

standard 12. he murdered rabbits with it for decades. if you put the selector switch in the middle it fires both barrels at once

Attached: b45.jpg (2448x3264, 3.15M)

>imperial jap 12 gauge
you sure that isnt just one of those double barrel flare guns?

I'd rail your Jericho, if you know what I mean

yea im sure. traded emails with a jap weapon historian about it. the model is a Japanese T-4 shotgun.

most of my guns are either very popular new stuff
or very cheap common surplus

now im not sure if this is actually rare but ive never seen anyone have one like it
my m&p 15 was made with no dust cover and no forward assist im guessing to make it cheaper
newly manufactured versions arent like this and its hard to find information about it
i got it before i knew anything about ars
it was the cheapest ar in that pawn shop

Attached: IMG_20190426_080621328.jpg (3264x1836, 1.04M)

That's the Sport 1, which is just the older version. Sport 2's will have the dust cover and forward assist

Is there a market for these pins? I could totally machine some.

How do you reload it?

Without a doubt it is my St Etienne Robust No 3. The Robust No 32 and later were imported in fairly large numbers into the US but I have not found evidence of any Robust under 8 in the US other than mine.

A second place would have to go to my Nazi proof marked Gew98.
