Hey i came here for the first time in a while for a thread like this.
Which type of 10/22 would Jow Forums recommend? I don't own a gun, i shot a handgun once like 10 years ago, i want a 10/22 that i can run into the woods with and shoot ground hogs and squirrels with incase the dollar collapses.

I love mine. Mannlicher stocks have always been a fetish of mine for sure. Not many stores carry them on the shelf but they don't really cost much more than a regular 10/22 when you do find them.

It's alright, I guess. Not worth going cowabunga over, anyways. There's a lawsuit over it, so it could be overturned. Even if it isn't, once I get more cash and a license, i could try my chances in a county where i1639 isn't being enforced by the sheriff. There's a chance that FFL owners might refuse to sell to me regardless of whether i1639 is being enforced in that county.

I use a cheap one from a company called monster tactical or some such. Took a dremel to it to make two clean dots I filled with glow in the dark paint to act as a rear iron sight
