Small unit tactics

Always wondered if squads and platoons actually use unit formations and movement techniques, such as wedges and columns and traveling, traveling overwatch, overwatch in real life. Such as on an actual combat deployment. Or does that shit usually get tossed out the window due to laziness, uselessness, or just purely due to the insanity of combat, everyone just fucks off and bunkers down. Does Jow Forums know anything about this shit? Or are 99% of you just larping faggots?

Combat gets chaotic but so long as the section can maintain their communication with each other they're going to throw every trick in the book at opfor, especially those they were taught how to use

Yes people actually use tactics, yes most people here are just LARPing, but anybody who has LARPed more than once will tell you its more fun if you use real small unit tactics.
