Speaking of knives, what's up with those horn-handle traditional folding knives from Spain and Italy prices?

Speaking of knives, what's up with those horn-handle traditional folding knives from Spain and Italy prices?
I mean, how can anyone justify the price difference between them and folding knives of similar kind?
For example a 13 cm blade navaja by Exposito is about 150 euros. 13 cm roman knife (picrelated) goes for 300 euros. Both of them are just horn, steel, some brass and stainless steel.
For comparison CS Espada L is 229 euros.
Why the hell?

it looks cool but you're right, I don't know why somebody would pay so much for it

Also, what is that with spanish knife makers that they make navajas either very small or just huge? Are they aiming at the tourists market or something?

Also, the most expensive go up to 3000 euros, but they're really more of an art piece rather than a fighting or edc tool

Yes

But that's undermiming the original idea of navaja being a huge-ass pocket sword

Lever lock navaja style.

Among Campolin's variations I like Sicilian more than Diana or Catalana

The handle of the big one, what's it made of?

Two slipjoint navajas, 19th century France and a Ti-Lite VI

Well, that's your opinion. I just want a fancy-looking folding knife that would also have some relation to history and fighting.
>puukko, worn buck, partiopuukko with bark handle
I can't say that it's ultra patrician, but it's a rather good set of knives.

Sweet! Who's the cutler?

None of these fold.

No idea. But I love the one of the middle size on the right. Would EDC.

That one caught my eye too.

What I don't like about his knives is that they are still very pricy, most of them would be illegal to carry in my country and they all resemble french-made 19th century knives.

And they are simple picklocks, they don't have that ratchet sound.

IT's time consuming to make one the Trad Way, sorta a waste because they make the blade out of Re-Bar

Thanks for that; nice step by step vid on the construction of a classic navaja.
