nope

SCAR 16

Ares SCR.

AR-15

How so? More details, please. This sounds like the Holy Grail that people have craved.

You know, it looks like... Mini-14 with AR mag.

>an actual rifle

How did he accomplish it?

File.

So it was just a total bubba job and not some respectable DIY gunsmithing?

This

Flight Lite SCR or the Ares Defense SCR are exactly what youre describing, use AR mags and uppers and have fudd rifle looking lowers and stock

Of course it is.
You can easily do the same. But reasons? Better buy that Cali AR, they are pretty much what you want.

Yeah. Pic related.

I don't have to buy a Cali AR. I can buy a regular AR. I just enjoy the Mini 14 because it's fun, and the idea of being able to convert it to reliably use AR mags is appealing.

does it matter if it works?

Give it a $500 street price and they will fly off the shelves.

what the fuck, you can see the tip poking out...I think throwiing loose rounds at the enemy by hand would be more effective than this

Is there a video of this in action?

Is that fucking bullet I see?
I wonder how fast it'll go with that "barrel length".

So what is the velocity leaving the "barrel" of this gas system?

He's right though.

That's what I am talking about.

muh dick.

The internet is your friend.

Put wooden furniture on an AR.

SCR with wood furniture.

At this point the powder would barely burn at all, you'd get the bullet plopping out with a *pud*; and then you get a bunch of unburnt powder all over the place.

Get an AR-15 with a fixed carry handle, then put wood furniture on it.

Can this piece of shit even cycle? I see the gas tube there but wouldn't it be more efficient to just convert it to straight blowback?

My god yes.

>pistol grip still
Can I change this too?

youtu.be/cmZSFBy9CZ8
here's the video of it working

Why my peepee hard

The pistol grip is superior for carrying at the ready. Extra gripular capacity.

There's the Ares/Fightlite SCR, but that lower costs more than most, it will look weird with anything that isn't a flat top receiver, and wooden stocks that fit (along with matching handguards) aren't readily available as far as I know, likely you would have to modify a Remington 1100 stock to fit (which will work).

Optionally, you could get a thumbhole stock made for a regular AR15.

..... There's some 5th dimensional warp fuckery going on to make that function.

Well, have fun being SCR'd into oblivion, but the Remington 761t still exists
