Do you think that the duelests of old times with beautiful single shot, often flintlock pistols thought the same way when revolvers began?
Revolvers didnt have the same sleek lines as a single shot, they had a big tumor in the center, were heavy, and looked proportionately awkward.

if it had rifling it was at least as accurate as the revolvers of the era and I can see how a lighter pistol, with a grip they can make any shape and maybe even contoured toward an individual would make for a quick to aim and shoot weapon.

I don't know if I like that or not. I mean the pattern is beautiful. It really is. Just engraving/damascening looks so weird on polymer guns. Hell, it looks odd on most modern guns in general. I guess there's nothing wrong with it but it just doesn't look right to me.
