Does anyone recognize what this may be? I was re-assembling my Sig handgun and found this in my lap afterwards

Nerve gas.

That's the doohickey, critical to the operation if any firearm

spare part, throw it away. do a function check. If it cycles, you're golden.

Is that a Famas?

which gun?

It’s the disconnector, congrats op you just manufactured a machine gun

this. just fire it and see if it works. it's probably an unnecesary part.

your ejector door hinge broke in half, gun won't cycle anymore

based op, which prison are you going to

OP here, the part apparently is annotated as part number 15 on this diagram which turned out to be the "safety level". Upon reinstalling the slide, if it is engaged you have to push it back in or it won't allow the slide to be reinstalled.

Apparently mine just snapped in half because I didn't push it down before installing the slide. Sick.

bit of super glue should fix it

It's the safety lever, it's broken in half, and you're gonna have to buy a new one. It's like $20

>absolute state of sig quality

A winner is you!

Based oldfag

a winrar is him

*sip* Now THATS a good meme.

Looked like the ejector though that diagram is making me think twice. No idea how a P365 ejects, but I don't see anything else in the diagram that looks like a conventional ejector.

what is this a meme for ants

onion bois. all of you

Dude...it is clearly built into the fcu frame.

That's the spare part they put in every pistol, not necessary but you should keep it in a drawer if you need it one day.

That diagram makes a CZ75 look easy to work on.
On a CZ, a part shaped like that is the firing pin block lifter.
Probably part of what makes the Sig drop safe.

I know exactly how you feel friend.

Safety leaver.
