It’ll shoot, but think about it like plus p ammunition in a hand gun. At least dial back on the gas system first

what brand of FAL and/or parts kit? 308 shoots fine out of my DSA SA58

NATO spec is generally far hotter than normal equivalent ammunition, you fucking mouth breather.

.308 is hotter than 7.62 NATO, you retarded faggot. Go back to posting pictures of your guns on the reddit honeypot.

Noguns detected.

7.62x51 has a load spec. 308 just has physical dimensions and an upper load limit. Some 308 is hotter than 7.62x51.

Literally the other way around, fag

Jesus fuck that girl is so cute. Who is she?

That is a drawing. Please go outside.

Its a refinished Australian L1A1 parts kit that I will probably get a Coonan or DSA receiver for.

Think you got it backwards fuck nut, why else would I ask the question

Why do you assume that it is even from anything
God fake weebs are so stupid.

I dunno, I just pulled it from the inter webs. I'm not into anime but I thought you weebs would get a lil chub from it

Also does anybody else have their web browser re-routed to a site that sells fucking Cialis when they try to go to coonaninc.com/product-category/falreceivers/
Or is the internet just having its way with me/ somebody is dicking around Coonan's website.

LMAO, nice move at trying to sound like you know what you're talking about. Fucking retarded Bonobo.

Coonan went out of business months ago lol

Well fuck, is the only option DSA now with its huge back order list? anybody else got any leads on an Inch patter FAL receiver with a harry handle cutout?

shes literally a FAL

As a rule of thumb, no. Unless your barrel is SPECIFICALLY RATED to fire varying loads (e.g. how .223 Wylde is spec'd for both .223 and 5.56x45 loadings), it is generally NOT SAFE to fire out-of-spec ammunition.

Yes you can load it, yes it will go "bang." What happens after that, though, is really up to whatever is being loaded into that gun - if your loading is too hot, it'll beat up the gun. If it's REALLY too hot, it can maim or kill you.

You may be thinking of 5.56 vs .223
