Will some of those saturday night specials actually function decently if I tinker with it and put some work into it? I was thinking of some .22 or .25 I just toss in a pocket once in a while. Should I get one of those break action .32 revolvers instead? Those seem like fun mild plinking and are sort of small.

i have a 418 and its 25 acp and has never jammed/failed to feed...i think .25 is supposed to be ore reliable than .22

I would stay away from the super cheap pocket guns if you want to carry it. There's just so many garbage italian autos and revolvers made of pot metal that break surprisingly easily. The .22 and .32 berettas are a great choice if you can find one for a fair price and they actually shoot really well. I would also avoid .25 acp completely, it's less effective than .32 and .22 and usually more expensive to feed.

.25 in theory should feed better than .22 but it really comes down to magazine design.

I really wish they made something in this package size with a hotter round. I also own a NAA Pug revolver, but my big mitts push it to the left when shooting whereas I'm dinner plate with the colt at 15 yards.

I forget the model but I believe browning made what was basically a beefed up version

.32 caliber revolvers are the only Saturday night specials I would recommend. The pistols chambered in .25 caliber jam a lot and have insufficient stopping power.

they make seecamps in 380

My friend does carry one but they seem... finicky. Dropped the mag and racked, and it fucked up his gun. Obviously my fault and not knowing the manual of arms, but still. Also, they're not quite as small, also was considering a NAA Guardian or even Micro Desert Eagle, but I don't know anyone who owns one to even have a secondhand opinion.

>micro desert eagle
it's double action only though

>double action only
That deems massively retarded

Dear god the first rule of seecamps is don't fuck with them unless you're loading and shooting it. Quality depends on if the old man's arthritis is acting up or not.

So's the seecamp and NAA guardian, as well as many other small defensive guns, like most snub revolvers.

I like my NAA .22. Basically only for scruffles or better than nothing means. I usually have a Glock 19 but not every scenario would it be applicable. Sometimes it's nice just knowing that little .22 is there as a get the fuck off me gun

that is what we in the business call gay

Why is 25 acp bad? How is ir worse than .22?

Anything small in .32acp? I plan on getting a skorpion soon, but nothing else I have uses that caliber. I'm pretty sure there's a CZ 82 (83?) in .32 but I've never handled one in person so I don't know how big they are or how common .32 ones are since they're normally 9mm mak.

Significant issues penetrating deep enough to damage organs, especially when shooting through "heavy" clothing (4 layers of denim) and basically it's not going through bone.

NAA Guardians in .32acp are based. They are essentially less finicky seecamps.

The 82/83s are fantastic guns. Definitely not what I would call a pocket gun though, a bit heavy and thick for that.

At the range you'd be using it, no it's not retarded. You are never going to be shooting anyone past like 5 yards with it so it doesn't even matter. I see it as a safety feature and I like the feel and the 'simplicity' of it.

>We in the business
Found the plebian tacti-tard who believes anything that's not a Glock or some other striker-fired gun is literally garbage

ya it's this neat thing called a joke you fucking nigger

It all depends on barrel length and loading. My NAA Pug in .22 Winchester Magnum with it's teeny-ass barrel has the same relative ballistics as my .25 Colt Vest Pocket.

see
eees real big for a .380, like a normal compact handgun (That's an 82 in 9x18 btw, but I'm 99% sure the external dimensions are the same as the 83)

Exact same size. The only things that change between calibers is the barrels, and in the 32s case the magazine too. 15+1 rounds of 32ACP in a nice shooting compact handgun is real neat though.

.25 ACP has similar energy to .22 short

hold on I have my gun somewhere

found it

Pocket guns are what really get me going.

You like? 20+ years of service seems good in my book.

FIE Titans are alright.

C-can I play? Or am I too fat?

What is this? I need one in my life.

Semmerling LM4.
It's a manual action oddity

>manual action
Aw. From the looks of it I thought it was some kind of blow forward design.

That's not that bad. Hell if you cleaned the grips up (or got some replacements) it'd probably look a lot better though.
Is it a OD serial prefix?
Here's mine

Attached: 59.jpg (1024x808, 108K)

Yea it has OD serial number. It was fucking filthy when I got it. I was able to clean all the lent and gunk, but someone painted the front sight white and I can’t get all of it off. I would love to have one that looks new. Yours looks good, I need some clean grips like that.

Why would someone get a pocket rocket as a safe queen? See

SHOW US YOUR POCKETS!

>I need some clean grips like that
They're relatively inexpensive (between $25-$40) and easy to find. Do it.
>It's not like finding spare mags.

I shoot it sometimes, but the one mag I have for it sticks and I get FTF with it al the time. I have other pocket 25s I shoot more often.

Fair enough.

Coin pocket pistol?

Attached: KucerColt25.jpg (441x301, 45K)

Is that a silver dollar? Cuz a .25 takes up at least 2/3 the length of a quarter.

That's a dime m8.

Just had to dig in my change jar, a .25 is roughly 1.8x a dime's diameter. Bullshit.

25 acp has similar energy to 22lr dumbo, that's literally what it was designed for. You can tell 22 short has less case capacity.

>Pro tip, it's a miniature
Or a giant dime

I own a kahr cw380. If you're looking for a modern mouse gun, the kahr p380/cw380 is about as small and light as you can. Smaller than most of what's been posted in 380. .75in wide and 10oz makes super easy to pocket. I can shoot it as well as my full size pistols.
