This gets brought up a lot, but to be real, just like any other army, you need fewer trigger pullers than you do people to fill their magazines, keep them fed, gather and give Intel, etc. A war effort of any kind of a game of logistics. Not a bar room brawl.

Consolidate western forces on Sierra-nevada's and let the red menace take the brunt of the yellow invasion.

Same thing goes for the east coast. Congo and the I95 hellscape are left as buffers. Full troop withdraw from florida. Both them and Alaska will need to resort to guerilla warfare almost immediately.

North and south require real tactics though. Entrenchments to deal with a blitz is all I can think of.

Bureaucrats can't win a real guerrilla war without committing vast numbers of war crimes to the point other nations would feel morally obligated to intervene. However, the occupation is aware of this, and find this potential desirable.

Unironically this, as soon as the word of non-Chinese getting put in camps they'll fight back.

I don't think that would be the case yet, The Chinese aren't going to be fighting just Rebel Americans, they still have to deal with the Russians and Mexicans from the North and South, losing a foot hold in the West coast would be bad news for them, I think they'd collaborate (even for a brief time) with the Communist on the West Coast to consolidate their foothold on the American homeland

For the southern war, it would be best to blow boarder bridges over the Rio and hold the human wave tactics there. Land could be given in the deserts to stress their supply lines and bog it down with an amount of water sufficient to keep forces combat ready. Again though, let brown and yellow fight in commie zones so they're softened up for us. This is assuming yellow/brown are non-cooperative.
Keeping UN nazis out of the gulf would be hell. New Orleans is a strategic necessity to keep the blue helmet bastards out of the Mississippi. Other spots south of Congo and east of the river should be withdrawn from to assure proper supply of troops.

The north is going to be the hardest to secure. No natural barriers block the great plains so those will have to be dug in with several layers of strategic trenches and overlapping AA coverage along the most contentious areas.Chicago will be the largest detriment in this field if not controlled by us. Too many railways and access to the great lakes makes bringing in equipment from Canukistan and interior troop movement too easy. This city must be taken. Jow Forumsommandos in the northeast must make a tactical withdrawal into Penn and southern upstate NY. Sabotage and lay traps along the rout of withdrawal to slow enemy advancement and allow for fortification along the Appalachians

The Hudson in New York is a good natural barrier. Its about .5-1 mi wide 50 mi upriver for NYC. Take out the bridges there and it forces any opfor to using bridges towards upstate

The Hudson is mostly surrounded by mountains too, so good op’s on both sides. NYC would probably be a nightmare for whoever holds it though

Yes this is true and it is a large problem. Initially this is a non-issue because any country with the ability to help us enough to change the outcome is fighting us.
