So, small arms and artillery repair. What do you do all day, just clean M4's?

My eye sight is near perfect, but I have mild tinnitus. Can I still go pilot or aircrew? It’s the only medical I can think of that would bar me entry.

How bad of an Idea is it to enlist as an MP

Neverserved but I'll have a go.
>imagine having to deal with retards drunk out of their minds
>said drunk belligerent retards are trained killbots pumped full of propaganda

Go for it. What could possibly go wrong?

How do you retards fuck up the thread title every. Single. Time?

Did anyone else graduate yesterday from Ft Jackson?

Pretty sure you spend most of your time sitting in a booth checking IDs.

Waiting for motor move to the airport on my way to AIT
35s
Went through ft. Jackson 3-60th 193rd
AMA

What company?
Delta

Bravo. Formed up waiting for GOV. Are you atm?

Sitting where we did the DNC comp waiting for motor move to Colombia airport
Y'all were out of step during the graduation

>telling people to lie about their medical history
this is why we have normies dropping dead in basic

>t. "My hip hurts" king of the tink tinks
Quit being a bitch and push past it. Had a guy have a hernia the first truck of the forge and make it.
You lie so you don't need to wait on waivers, not because the previous medical shit is going to keep you from making it.
They find that shit at reception or on the hammer

Graduating from navy ocs in 3 hours

Prior service here. Stupid question, but will MEPS have both the access and willingness to pore through my records at the VA? I've never made any attempts but I did tell a psych I was thinking of killing myself when I was having a real tough time readjusting back to civilian life. This was six or seven years ago, and I've settled into an acceptance of civilian life, but I miss the army like I've never missed anything before in my life. What are my chances?

Shrink notes =! Diagnosis
They have your tricare and va records though

Guess I'd better try to get those VA records then and see what secrets they hold before I do anything else. Thanks mate.

I’m there too. I’ll raise my phone in the air at 0747. Im a few people down from the red sedan near the DFAC.

Respond if you copy xdd

I just enlisted and want opinions

68W ACASP coming in at E4 and skipping half of my AIT. My first duty station is Ft Riley, KS.

What should I expect other than getting hazed in basic for being E4? Wtf do you even do in KS?

I’m attached to the 1st Batt 1st Infantry Division. What’s the chances I get to go airborne before I deploy?

Ultimately how do I play boy scouts and get as many merit badges and experiences before I pick up a comfy E5 pog slot and ride out the last year before I return to my comfy civvie life

Attached: FBCAB85A-60D3-4EB5-863A-932B5AEE34E6.jpg (750x660, 32K)

At the uso headphones in with a copy of army times, sitting in the corner

>I’m attached to the 1st Batt 1st Infantry Division

Attached: tiresome.jpg (807x659, 37K)

I don’t understand

You're a 68W so you might be fine but there is no worse place in the military to be an infantryman
Hazing, lowest quality legs, toxic shit tier leadership and general retardation from your peers who were too fucking stupid or fat to get opt 4 or opt 40

MP = the guy at the gate scanning IDs. After your first enlistment you can MAYBE retrain to something cool like K-9 handler or SRT. MPs, Masters-at-Arms, Security Forces, they're the most miserable people in the US military.

Fuck off and stop guessing if you have no idea you are a dumbass.
You would end up doing this. Being bored out of your mind checking ids at a gate all day, or sitting in a small little box protecting some asset.

B-but... muh big red one... muh E4 mafia...

I think it might be different being a doc and it’s only 12 mos in Kansas anyway

Very. I know one, he hates his job. Every suicide he has to clean up probably inspires him to kill himself as well. Hates the MP corps with a firey passion.

How much can u play dress up as gse in the navy? Can i cut my uni in half and make frankenstine clothing? Can i wear a cape? Can i have a pompador?

Attached: lost_the_game.jpg (373x498, 53K)

Can i join the military if i've been on SSI neetbux for autisms?
Being a NEET is getting boring.

Attached: IMG_4527.jpg (490x278, 23K)

30% of the worlds pop has tinnitis

Boss your division around and watch how miserable your life will be.

Nobody respects a butter bar, just accept it.

I really want to join the military because I want to travel, but what does traveling in the military look like? I’m wondering specifically between Navy and Marines. I heard the Navy “travels” more because they’re on ships. One guy from the Navy told me by the time he was 20 he’d been to 20 countries. Meanwhile someone from the Marines told me they’d been to 13 countries in 4 years.

Autism is disqualifying

Pick a job that works on ships, obviously.

How is bad of an idea is it to enlist with a family history of mental illness? Specifically bipolar and schizo. Im 18 and don't have either of those myself, but it runs in the famoly and my sister had bp. is it a bad idea?

the name field is on the left. what kind of eurocuck shit is that

No, just don’t talk about it.

Just a heads up doc, 1ID is aids. I'm not sure if you meant you were going to 1st brigade in your other post or something but either brigade is cancerous. 1st is in poland, 2nd is going to korea soon.
The only good nearby town is Manhattan. Avoid Junction City like mad.
The place has the highest suicide rate in the army for a reason.

Navy or construction in marines would work.

How probable is it to get stationed in a nice part of Japan in the Air Force? What jobs get stationed there the most? What are my chances of scoring a duty in there my first enlistment?
Also are most of the AF bases in Japan in the countryside or near the big cities? Looking to see the nightlife and what not.

They told me 1st Battalion, I’ll have to check my orders. I saw Manhattan was close by too.

I think I’m gonna use my liberty to check out some civil war battlefields and go fishing and shit, I’m a real backwoods good ol boy so I don’t think I’ll struggle to find something to do.

I just want a deployment or two before I decide to pick up E5

>It's another one of those "How can I get stationed in Japan? losers.

whats life like as a grunt in the marines? 0311

Lmao this fuckin dood

they don't know shit about your medical history, criminal history they do.

The states are gay as fuck, I'll take Korea or SEA countries too. Not too big on Europe since I hate europoors.

please answer whats so bad about asking everyone is asking shit

i'm obsessed dude. i just want to know i just want to be there but i dont know if its me wanting to actually do it or just another thing i tell myself

What's a good degree to get if you want to be an officer in the intelligence branch? Is just any degree fine since they take whatever?

Any Navy MAs here? I'm supposed to go TAD to security, but the meds I'm on prevent me from getting OC sprayed. Is that disqualifying or can they wave it?

You're most likely going to 2nd brigade so I'm guessing you're going to 1-18 IN or 1-63 AR.
They're both pretty bad places to be, not gonna lie. As a medic you'll escape the worst of it though.
Deployment wise you're in for Korea next year if you end up in 2nd.
The aviation brigade, if you go there, is spread all over europe and the middle east right now, you might end up in romania or something.
Just try to get out of Riley as soon as you can, this place destroys careers and burns out good dudes.

Dude not even kidding infantry life for either branch blows. Do yourself a favor and choose at least a better job if not another branch entirely.

I would fucking love Europe, comfy ass duty with field ops in neato places

Like I said, after 12 mos I’m eligible for transfer. Hopefully it’s not too bad

>have been doing shitty private security jobs for piss poor pay
>realize people do that in the military and get benefits
>would rather stay in my state with my friends
Is it possible to serve full-time in the NG as an MP or whatever equivalent?

>Another stupid fucking question.
Somehow this is worse than the last. Just go active you fucking dingus. The NG doesn't work the way you think it does. There are no full-time security jobs.

>telling them about your medical history

not gonna make it.

>Enlisted personnel
>able to do anything right

Attached: enlistedfags have literally no taste.png (574x483, 598K)

>Just go active you fucking dingus. The NG doesn't work the way you think it does.
Oh yeah? And the English language doesn't work the way you think it does you fucking dingus. Go fuck yourself I fucking hate you.

Yeah whatever go back to being poor you poorfag lmao

Alright. how do I military pilot. I want nothing more out of life than to fly the A-10. what do

>throwing a tantrum on /meg/
wtf is wrong with you people?

I had this vision where I'd be a comfy guardsmen and it's just been shattered okay?

God that shit is so cringy I don't even want to look at it.

>being this much of a bitch
why are all rentafucks like this

consider the coast guard

intel is very selective. they prefer advanced degrees.

Hmm, I heard infantry is also a highly requested branch, is education selective for that as well or is it more just PT scores and leadership skills? Intelligence, infantry and quartermaster seem most interesting to me.

Will they kind out if I have been on social security income for my mental illness, plz help.

Is there a navy rate I can do that is just standing watch/security.

I'm a complete retard so passing the ASVAB is a concern, but I'd like to do something stupid simple like that.

I'm looking to enlist in the guard and try to go to SFAS at some point. I understand the requirements (E4, 1 year in MOS) but can my unit stop me from going to SFRE? I've heard people can be a pain in the butt, trying to get some answers on how to do this. Don't think I want to get a rep-63, not in that level of shape currently.

Also, is it possible to enlist straight into an SOF support position?

desu I only have any idea wrt the navy, which doesn't have infantry officers.

Yes,

Attached: That+sounds+bad+but+i+dont+know+enough+about+german+_d7981779bc1d46c6d1171ea434314464.jpg (326x244, 16K)

Is SERE Specialist an MOS or do I need to be selected for it? It looks like a dream job for me but I don't know anything about pipelines or the processes involved in signing up and enlisting if anyone could help enlighten me.

Can I talk to a Navy, Marine, Army, Air Force recruiter all at the same time? Not in the same room obviously but it's so I can guarantee I get the job I want? What's the best way to go about this.

If you're doing it to get the job you want, the Army is the only branch that can actually guarantee that. You seem pretty dumb, though, so go ahead and try to talk to all of them at once with whatever stupid idea you have of what you want to do.

u mad?

you guys ever realize that rain smells like salamanders?

Mad? I'm furious

Pretty sure it's an entry level MOS in the Air Force. I've heard though that a lot of time you aren't out in the field so keep that in mind.

I'm going to be graduating soon with a CS (really more like IT shit) degree. Job prospects aren't working out well. Thinking about trying to go into Air Force or Navy as an officer for one of them fancy-sounding cyber positions. Is it a bad idea?

Attached: bsf.jpg.72893cea83daa7d99396d6bea85ffafd.jpg (3508x1929, 1.95M)

If I wanted a high paying job in Cyber Security or Data Science after my time, what would be the best banch/route? I was thinking Navy Crypto or Intel Officer.

Came back from training ground
Avent bathed in 4 days
Life good

>middle shot is photoshopped
i guess that's the "bad angle" for her massive fake ass implants

Im a glossary non prior service who is reenlisting and having a hard time deciding.

Ive always had aspirations to go to SFAS. Part of me wants to just nut up and take an 18x contract. The other part of me is using its brain and wants to do a 35 series mos (caught between 35N and 35F currently) and drop an SFAS packet as soon as I am able.

Has anyone seen 350F guy lately?

>How bad of an Idea is it to enlist as an MP
If you do immediately go to SRT and air assault training

>Is it possible to serve full-time in the NG as an MP
Yes but those positions are usually only open to NCOs

depends on the career
>Also, is it possible to enlist straight into an SOF support position?
you can if you go active, with option 40 or dropping a packet in AIT for SOAR

If I enlist in the army as a college grad, I'll be E4. Now, how many years do I have to spend sucking dicks before I can be considered for E5?

>Now, how many years do I have to spend sucking dicks before I can be considered for E5?
depends on you're job, branch, and if there's an e5 vacancy, the bigger the branch the quicker it is to promote, AF and MC promote extremely slow

army specifically, will be trying for 17C

you should be good then, Army operates on promotion points and having a degree is a good start

cool.army.mil/enlisted/17c.htm

thanks famalam

What are the actual benefits of getting married? It just seems like a license to get fucked over. What if you just had a family without marrying your gf?

Finally fuckin rated. Any ciws techs in here got any cool stries or what c school is like.

Thanks

I’m a tricare dependent on ADHD meds. Can I go off meds and enlist?

Bumping for answers

Here at Bragg, tons of dudes in the 82nd as 18x failures. Most didn't get selected but the ones that did and failed q course mostly failed small team tactics and other shit you get taught at your infantry company. Said the 14 week osut did not prepare them at all for shit like that.

You would need 18 months to reach secondary and 2 years for primary zone of promotion. Get your points up and study for the board around 16 or 17 months and force your leadership to take you, unless your a shitbag. You could make e5 in 2 and a half or 3 years. I did it in 3 years but my mos was a star mos for like half a year.
