I love the idea of a modern m1
Ironically a local kommando got me banned

A red dot on a m1 carbine gets me hard

So do (((they)))

>(((they))) also made a derivative of the galil chambered in 7.62x33mm/.30 carbine

I think the M1 Carbines and the Galil's in .30 Carbine are pretty much only used by Israeli law enforcement.

ALSO a Jewish bullpup

thanks for reminding me, user.

It's a great CQB platform and ANYBODY including women and young children can shoot/handle them. I regret selling my Inland, wouldn't mind picking another one up

Have you ever shot one? Recoil is next to none, yet it can put some shit down. I just wish mags didnt cost so much.

I wish I could own one.

>new jersey fag
>banned by name

M1 carbine is banned by name? Is it the Carbine part?

uhhh... i did some armory work in korea and we don't actually use these.

The military surplus such as m60, m1 garands, m1 carbines are only there at local POLICE stations in case of emergency. For example, there is actually a drill and plan in case of north korean invasion that involves arming the former military men since all korean men do mandatory military service. And these men are the ones that get armed with these surplus weapons.

Aside from that there is no training or service in circulation with all agencies EXCEPT for weapons training for different platforms ONLY because north koreans DO have some of these weapons.

The weapons training is only for special forces and SWAT.

The only actual service weapons in circulation consist of DAEWOO k2's k3's and K4. Before pistol qualifications beginners will start out on the smith and wesson 586 pre lock. Presidential body gaurds use px4 storms.

>Presidential body gaurds use px4 storms.
Didn't expect that. Glad I'm not the only person who loves them.

Pretty much. Along with the presence of the bayonet lug and 15 round mag being so scary.

Colt AR-15 is also banned by name but we can still get AR pattern rifles so long as they aren't Colt or an AR-15.
>because of pic related, we here in new jersey can't have nice things

ROK has very strict import laws and it is difficult to convince the older seniors to change these because generally Daewoo has been the main manufacturer in domestic firearms industry and they are trying to keep it that way.

For civilian use ROK does allow it but only allow O/U and double barrel shotguns. They go for around 3000 to 4000 dollars and majority of them are berettas and benelli

I was reading all this, forgot you lived in the U.S. and was about to ask what shit hole country you live in. Also find a pre 68 m1, it's considered a antique, bypass such laws.

oh and also swat uses H&K mp5 and MP7s and UMP45 and H&K P7.

The P7 is issued to soldiers stationed in other countries. Usually for embassies and diplomatic protection services.

The ones I listed in my previous response and these are the most common service weapons in ROK. Ones not listed rarely get any use and just stay in the armories.

REEEEE WHY WON"T THEY SELL IT IN THE US!!!!!

I have the Paratrooper version with the folding stock. Looks mint. But the intermediate round isn't good for anything compared to others. Also, ammo is a bitch to find here in Canada and expensive compared to others.

The Magals all got pulled from service because of constant malfunctions. Turns out a barrel that short combined with .30 Carbine doesn't produce enough gas pressure to even remotely work an AK piston reliably, especially when IMI fucked around with said piston dimensions.

You want to buy a straight-pull bolt-action .30 rifle, be my guest.
