Turkroach cz75 any good?

I have a cz75 sp01 tactical urban grey and it’s good and I like it but I really want a better finish. I’m thinking of selling it to get a canik s120 and a stainless threaded barrel.
Questions are
Does anyone make a stainless cz75 barrel?
Will it work in the canik?
How does canik hold up to cz in terms of durability and reliability?
Is the hard chrome for the entire slide and frame(inside too)?

if your not happy with the real thing your not going to be happy with the knockoff
getting your gun cerakoted isnt that expensive

Cerakote is garbage and not anything like hard chrome.
Hard chroming my cz would be way too expensive as well. If that was an option I would do that.

anything from turkey is shit, i had a turkshit shotgun literally blow it's locking lug on birdshot before

>chrome finish canik s120
>$350
what's the catch?

1. It is ill-advised to give money to Muslims. All Muslim business owners donate some of their money to mosques, same as how Christians donate to churches. Except with mosques, a lot of that money gets funneled to terrorist groups. Your money that you gave them.

2. It's not that expensive to get your current gun refinished. Cerakote, bluing, nitride, take your pick.

3. Don't count on barrels dropping in across brands of CZ 75 copies. For that matter, don't count on a CZ 75 barrel dropping into a CZ 75 that's not contemporary with the date of the barrel's manufacture. All these different factories have their own specs that differ very slightly and change with time. There is a possibility that some gunsmithing could adjust a barrel to fit. There is also a possibility that you could waste $100 plus whatever a gunsmith charges on a barrel that can't be adjusted to ever fit your Turkroach gun.

Older Caniks were actually Hard Chromed slides.
Now it is just a coating called Chrome.
Here is my L-120.
The L-120 has an Aluminum frame.
The S-120 is steel framed.
LOK Fine checkered Palm Swell grips on it now.
Cajun Gunworks $17 spring kit in it and a polishing job and Hammer hooks stoned.
Factory hammer hooker have a lot of positive rake and look like the Matterhorn.
They were twice as high as the sear was thick and had over 2mm of camming even in SA where the hammer moved rearward before the break.
This was my EDC for a while and is right here on my desk always.
If you want a DA/SA metal frame gun, it is the best bargain out there.

Just keep the CZ and send it out to get Hard Chromed.
The coating is wearing off on my gun and I actually re-profiled the beavertail for better comfort.
It polished up nicely.
I want to Hard Chrome the frame and DLC the slide.
Will probably use APW Cogan.
Here is the link the the CZ gallery

They ran a good special over the Winter of half price, plus cost of additional work.
It was $125 for the plating plus assembly and stripping old finish.
Regular is $250 plus additional work.
I will send them just the stripped slide and frame later this year.

I am in GA and Cogan is in AL.
Ford's is another one in Florida.

Why would you ever sell a gun?

Although there are a couple of speck-like imperfections, that finish looks awesome, what is it?

don't buy roachshit.

>Why would you ever sell things for a profit to buy different things.

Factory coating from TriStar/Canik
That is what they call Chrome.

You can see under the beaver tail where I sanded and polished it out for a more rounded contour.
The newer Caniks have the SP-01 longer style and more upswept beaver tail.
Have had the gun for four years now.
You can see the wear on the points of the checkering.
I have worn out the trigger return spring just from dry firing ten of thousands of times.
Still the factory roll pin in the slide.
Hasn't cracked or peened over the firing pin.
Did you check out the Canik thread I posted?

I might upgrade the sights.

Stainless P-01, Shadow 2, Tactical Sport Canik L-120 side by side. They all need to be cleaned.
They all get a hundred rounds of more a month.
I usually go though 1000 rounds of 9mm and 22LR at a minimum.
1k rounds of Winchester M22 is only $43.
I can get 500 rounds of Winchester 115 grain 9mm for $85.
Have steel targets in my back yard.

Today just became gun cleaning day
Spotting something I don't like.

Galling or Chrome plating over Stainless steel flaking off?
Canik left, "Stainless" P-01 on right.
Glad I didn't pay an inflated price.
Big Oh Shit about to hit some CZ forums.
I have probably 2000 rounds through it since November.
Maybe I am running it too dry.

Wait, so their hard chrome isn’t actually hard chrome?
Sportsman’s guide or whatever their name is has Canik s120s for 375, is it not hard chrome? The electronical chemically deposited kind?

So your canik is flaking it's coating?

No my CZ is FLAKING......
The Canik coating is actually holding up better and it is not electroplated chrome.
Pictured , is NOT Stainless....
Glad I paid MSRP, actually slightly below.

This guy got fucked.

The Canik "Chrome" is a sprayed and baked finish similar to Cerakote.
The CZ 91197 Stainless is actually a plating, that flakes in high pressure areas after 2k rounds if not grease all to Hell.
Truly a Pimp Gun now.
Geez, and I was so worried about hurting its "investment" value for shooting the shit out of it.

I will continue to treat it like a whore now.

NO SAFE QUEENS, BITCH

Here is the Canik coating wear on the slide rails after over 2000 rounds, and probably not as lubricated as it should be,
Canik top CZ "Stainless" slide on bottom.
About what I would expect for a sprayed and baked on coating.
This Canik is shit quality meme is BS.
I can compare Canik, Cz, and Sphinx side by side.
Sphinx is definitely better quality, and I am going to say that the TriStar/Canik clone is a better CZ than the average CZ75B.
CZ race guns are different.

Heading to the store for brake cleaner and groceries..
I will clean them up this afternoon and can post more pics if there is an interest.
Need more ammo too.

Damn, that sucks. My basic bitch cz75b bought in 2016 is doing fine. Please update us if you wish to. I also have a used jericho (another cz clone) that has seen better days and it hasn't lost its finish other than holster wear.

A Proper hard chrome will not flake.
Hard chrome is also a matte finish.
This is a high polish chrome that is built up much thicker than Hard Chrome like would be on the inside of a barrel.
Eh, I bought it as a pimp gun lark.
Still looks good, shoots good, feels good, just isn't an investment like some people were making it out to be.
It can be restored later by APW Cogan for less than the cost of a Cerakote job.

I still want a nice blued Pre B CZ 75.
Found a Star of David Jericho on auction yesterday.
Tempting to get and restore for Larping.
My Gunsmith is a 2A Jew that hates liberal anti 2A Jews.
Irony of shooting a muslim terrorist with a Jew gun.

I have a safe arms b6p cz clone no problems and works fine

Kek, that damn star is huge, I expected like a tiny one.

What the fuck. I actually thought it was chrome. In their pics it certainly looks like glossy chrome.
This streiaght our lying, if they call it chrome then it should proper electronically deposited chrome.

Howa is doing the same thing.
They used to make a legit Stainless Steel action in 308 or 6.5X55, now it is a Cerakote Stainless finish.

I feel like the Canik coating is holding up to the wear and tear reasonably well.
Industry everywhere has cheaped out and is using deceptive descriptions.

I have a Sar b6p. Love everything about it, other than that I got the polymer frame version. Some turkshit is good

>Did you check out the Canik thread I posted?
I'll check it out, do you have a link?

Nice.

Sar is a good gun for the price.

Turkshit anything is trash. They can't even get shotguns right. Too bad they scrubbed the video where the dude broke 12 turkshit guns in a row just shooting them relatively normally.

Also Turkey is not a country you want to support politically. They funded ISIS and allow migrants to enter Europe. They've been close to the forefront of destroying Europe since antiquity, the absolute forefront being the Jews.

Bretty cool

Depends on the maker, Canik and Sarzilmas make great guns but all other Turkish gun manufactures are a gamble.
