...and brought back some goodies.

Those look fun to go to.

Of course you found another set of that. Unbelievable.
I see it also has a patch of some sort on the right sleeve.

>that helmet cover
Could it be?

Attached: 1476026753312.jpg (1252x827, 313K)

Surprisingly, quite a few sellers had bits and pieces of border guard camo. This was the only complete set though. It even has the old border guard patch (depicting an angry lynx) on the sleeve.

Yep, it's one of those tigerstripe-ish covers alright. First time I've seen one IRL, so I just had to have it. Paid thirty EUR for the helmet (basic bitch Gentex PASGT) because the guy refused to sell the cover individually.

Forgot the picture heh.

Items picked up in Angola during the Border War
The foam of the liner is extremely hard and brittle, and the chinstrap broke off during transit but otherwise its in "ok" condition, considering it was picked up off a dead insurgent

AK-47 Bayonet is an Original Soviet Model (tracked the factory stamp) and I was told it was picked up in Angola as well

RPG 7 piece I believe comes from a Chinese projectile as the shape is similar to the Chinese airburst rocket but I'm not 100%, the seller was selling other rpg bits with Chinese lettering on so I'm fairly sure it's chinese

Forgot picture

Gonna buy lots of cool shit

Nice. Honestly looks like an ERDL derivative seeing it close up.

Nice finds. Battlefield pickups are neat af.

The pattern's all over the place. Some look kinda like tigerstripe, others resemble lizard.

I'm digging those camo jungle boots.
I've seen the woodland and air force variants of those same boots, and once on ebay a guy had a pair of pic related for sale, some weird subdued version of the jungle/woodland pattern in an all-over camo boot, like a sort of subdued version of the CADPAT boots.

Attached: 1305a7ab9fd9912feeabe1693f2dc1fd.jpg (2048x1365, 2.06M)

Someone made me aware this existed a few days ago, and it's all I want in life now.

Attached: 46e6e063ee99f74c3f0f5600a9be2df8.jpg (427x640, 68K)

Those boots are known as "Guacamole" boots by Mexican soldiers. I actually brought 2 pairs of desert boots one for myself and another for some guy in Wisconsin. I also brought him a boonie hat and 2 caps. Essentially that picture is what I brought over for him. I also brought stuff to sell on eBay.

Attached: IMG_20190428_212313~2.jpg (4340x3317, 3.49M)

What a haul. I'm surprised to see so much more Mex stuff floating around these days.
If only just a bit more could leak out and drop the prices. 'Course then you wouldn't be making as much sneaking it out.

Attached: Mexican Jungle Pixelado Uniform 83rd Battalon de Infanteria.jpg (1953x1728, 1.37M)

The thing with Mexican uniforms is that they are generally available. Especially the green jungle one. But many people don't like shipping to the US due to cost and hassle.

It also doesn't help that many people assume the worst when they hear that it's "ILLEGAL" to have and sell military uniforms without being active duty. (In reality the law is hardly enforced and when it is it's generally an added crime for cartels members caught in possession of military goods)

I for one buy as much as I can in variety and bring back stuff to sell for "reasonable" prices. I'm not the kind of asshole who puts a heavily used run of the mill green uniform up on eBay for $300+ when I know that uniform can be had for as little as $20 in the used market. I generally try to recuperate the a bit of the cost of the flight and some amount of profit. But nothing too crazy.

Attached: IMG_20190505_233531~2.jpg (4608x3055, 3.71M)

Interesting. Years ago when I bought my uniform, last I had heard was that uniforms were heavily regulated and there were hefty fines and jail time associated with being caught buying and selling them.

Attached: Mexican Jungle Pixelado M43 Captain.jpg (1291x1309, 592K)

On paper the law says you can be fined and sent to prison for up to 6 years for selling military items. But in practice the selling of uniforms is common especially online in Mexico's/Latin America's version of eBay (which actually requires your ID to sell items and sometimes to actually buy items) and you can see countless ads for uniforms and even military equipment such as helmets, vests, boots and even gun parts. Even Facebook marketplace has items like that for sale.

Attached: IMG_20190505_233629.jpg (4608x3456, 3.52M)

What is difficult is trying to get a hold of desert camo items because of the few states that issue them and the fact that they are almost always destroyed after usage due to the fact that all the states that issue desert items are border states and they don't want cartels to access them.

Give me money

That dyed or a camera trick?

It's my attempt at a dye job. Turns out the mesh part doesn't take dye all that well whereas the webbing soaks that shit up like crazy.

Interesting. Usually webbing, in my experience, is one of the most dye resilient parts.
It did turn out to make a neat contrast though.

Amren borther, that seems to be the case with most items. Imagine my shock when the webbing was first to turn dark green.

got one of these a couple of weeks back

Yeah. Maybe I’ll get a picture in later

Fuckin' nice, definitely a rare piece then.

These suspenders? ;)

Attached: image.jpg (4032x3024, 3.56M)

Nice. Yeah from what I hear a lot of those internal suspenders are cut out because people found them very uncomfortable during use so they would just cut out the suspenders and wear the coveralls without them.

You heard correct

Chinese MF-18(? We don't know the confirmed designation, that's just what the seller called it) Experimental Panoramic Mask. Still being tested by the PLA, supposedly.

Attached: Chinese PLA FMJ09B (MF-18) Gas Mask (1).jpg (3872x2592, 2.28M)

This thing was definitely tested, it was caked in mud when I got it and there's light wear here and there. The facepiece is based off another existing design called the MF-15C, which is made by the same company as this mask (Shanxi Xinhua Chemical Co.), but the differences are that the eyepiece is reccessed inwards and has an integrated mount for optical inserts, plus the voicemitter/outlet valve assembly is nearly identical to another mask the PLA is currently testing called the FMJ09 (which oddly is made by a different company called Plant 908, so who knows what's going on here). At the moment, this is the only known example in the U.S.

Mexican marine camo?

Yeah it's the Mexican marine jungle camo they had before swapping over to US4CES.

Weird for something new if it's still being tested. The Type 99 camo bag would say otherwise to me, unless they're just reusing an old bag.

Is that Kink guy actually fielding a Baofeng?

Question. I think you are the guy who always photo your stuff on a bright red felt background. Why?

If leather you can use rubbing alc and water on the inside to help the leather stretch. I used a 70-30 of alc to water ratio on my work redwings. Also, stuff those fuckers with towels or whatever when not in use to help stretch them out a little further. I did that and even used some minor heat and now I've got room to spare in my shoes.

>red felt
It's a carpet.

Looks similar to the one worn by that one farcry 5 villain

Polish Flecktarn? The thumbnail image makes it look like the old pre-Multicam Lithuanian pattern.

More interested in the color. Why choose red?

Can you get me a set of marine jungle for like $100?

Attached: _1015440_1.jpg (2210x3678, 1.48M)

It offers the best visual contrast out of all the carpets I have access to. The others don't make things stand out as much.

Where 2 cop?

I dunno, shoot me an offer. Top, bottoms, and boonie

Literally any surplus store or gun show

>Polish Flecktarn?
Yep! in a winter jacket which I've never seen before

For $100? Depends, the set would probably be heavily used with fading. At that price point for it to make sense for me I would need to find a set that doesn't cost more than $60 or which is pretty hard especially for marine stuff. The set that I'm going to put up for sale (pictured) was going to start off at $200 but if you really want a set I can sell it to you for $165

Attached: IMG_20190501_092149.jpg (4608x3456, 3.56M)

Jacob wore spray painted 3 color desert

I was lowballing for lulz. $165 is way more reasonable.
