The A2 stock screw was an absolute bitch to get off, ruined the head over repeated attempts and ended up drilling it out. I'll need to get a replacement soon but it's holding together for now...

I dunno. those both seem deep. I mean not nightforce deep but more than entry. I've never seen a scope come with a mount because the mount depends partially on the gun. Vortex doesn't make all of their mounts.

Yes I have. The issues are less light transmission or tube size but rather more the pure ergonomics involved with trying to shoulder any optic at night with NV infront of your face.
I have EXPS3, Comp M2, T2 and Pro and have tried aiming with all of them. The mount/riser setup is far more important than the optic itself.
