GET UP PRIVATE ALLEN!

Yeah, I'd say so.

was he a cpl or a spc?
Either way fuck no, if you were able to pull this off of google you know who he is and how he wasn't average.

No, he was an exceptional human being and an exemplary American. Thus, he was fragged by people he made look like shit through his excellence. Its like a real life biblical allegory.

No, duh. He's an Army Ranger, so they're above average. Compared to other Army Rangers, he'd be an average.

>leaves NFL potentially making millions to join the army because muh towers
>gets shot by friendly fire
lol what a cuck

maybe after 3-5 years in the regiment sure, when everybody else has had a couple years to really focus on their bodies. Thinking that an above average nfl linebacker(? I forget what position he played) is going to perform at the average while going through OSUT and RASP is just ignorant, from a physicality standpoint anyways.
His body must have been in the 90+ percentile going into training.

I had a family member who was somehow involved with examining his corpse after the whole friendly fire incident. Said it was the most physically perfect human specimen he’d ever seen.

He looks like a giga chad

he mogs everyone

Let me guess he was shot in the neck/head, simillar to that seth rich who commited suicide with 50 bullets to the back of his head. How did the poor lad got killed?

>the are people right now in this very thread too young to personally remember reports of Pat Tillman's death
Forget kikes and muzzies, let's gas the fucking zoomers.

Objectively, berets are a weird hat, but that guys berets is off the scale, it's actually obscuring his vision. Are all US army berets that floppy?

He wasn’t part of the initial team that did the autopsy. Apparently he was on a follow-up or something. Pretty much everyone knew it was friendly fire from day one, but the government wanted to cover it up for obvious morale reasons. Just a massive fuck-up in general, and lying about it made it worse.

that's the reason for the "friendly fire"

Fuck it, I’d be jealous too. That jawline could cut diamonds.

*gets friendly fire'd

Did he get a look at his junk?

dude got murdered by incels

I didn’t ask, but probably.

Wasn’t the first, won’t be the last.

Gamers rise up.

Yes. And here's your average Navy SEAL for comparison.

Dont give these tards too much credit. Know a guy from the danish homeguard (which basically consists of old men) who told me this story. In 2009 the rangers came to Denmark before a deployment to afghanistan to test their skills. The homeguards job was to act as the Taliban, and the Rangers had to simulate a patrol with around 20 men. Even though the homeguard basically consists of old men, they are not stupid. They found them very quickly and from former experiences with these fucks, they knew they just had to wait with the attack till they began eating (because somehow they always forgot securing their sites when eating). Once the homeguard saw them cooking, 6 old men went in and took the whole 20-ish guys as prisoners. Having failed this test, they got another chance. Dont know the details of this one, but i know it ended with 2 communications officers finding them sleeping by accident, and taking them as prisoners there too. They didnt get their deployment.

The Chad Ranger vs the Virgin Navy SEAL

I call bullshit

That's because he is

I don't know, it sounds somewhat credible, Americans are famously stupid.

>saw them cooking
pouring water into mre's?

That sounds like bullshit. Every Infantryman knows that security is number 1. Rangers are not in my knowledge a twenty man team size. They do operations at battalion level. so it seems odd.

Was*

He spoke out against shit that was happening, and was killed bruv.

The average ranger is alive, your pic dude is dead

Convoy he was rolling with had an element a little farther back, his brother or maybe it was a cousin was back in the rear element when it hit a land mine, Tillman dismounted with an interpreter because their radios weren't working well in the mountainous terrain, to see if the rear element needed support, and when he crested a hill one of the humvees thought him and the terp were the spotters for the IED and lit them up with a .50 cal

night night, Ronny

Shut up nogunz. Get off this board.

That's a boat boy, not tier one

Attached: mckaylasad.jpg (653x367, 33K)

it's the guy the movie "lone survivor" was about, i'm pretty sure that's tier one

Iirc it was actually a 249. The death was really suspicious because he got shot in the head 3x by friendly fire from 100 yards or something really fucked up like that.

I want her to suck my cock and look up at me with that expression. I'd nut in 5 seconds and then nut again

I think you're right about the 249, and I know the reason for suspicion was because the army kept trying to get him to be a recruiter and be PR, not an actual soldier. Tillman had become pretty disillusioned with the Iraq war cause he saw right through the WMD shit and that the only reason the country was in turmoil, was because of the invasion. in his letters I know he told his family how fucked it was and that the government was lying about iraq. would have been a PR nightmare had tillman come home and gone on the news about how fucked the war was.

1)Rangers don’t do patrols, they haven’t since GWOT began. Rangers strictly are involved with HVT raids.
2)Rangers move to target in no smaller than a platoon sized(est 40 people) or more, never less than that.

It could’ve been a bunch of fags from another unit calling themselves rangers because they had their tabs or whatever, but guaranteed they were from batt.

Attached: beret.jpg (500x652, 302K)

Not as stupid as someone who’s never served trying to distinguish what special operations units he’s never actually seen are accomplished and which ones aren’t.

>Dont give these tards too much credit.
Says the literal cuck with the meme-tier military.

>Know a guy from the danish homeguard (which basically consists of old men) who told me this story.
A past his prime reservist versus the statistically most lethal SOF unit on the planet. Sounds legit.

>In 2009 the rangers came to Denmark before a deployment to afghanistan to test their skills.
Great job fucking blowing your story before you even got started. Pre-deployment workups occur CONUS fucknuts. But continue.

>The homeguards job was to act as the Taliban, and the Rangers had to simulate a patrol with around 20 men.
So can you explain to me why guys who literally train and function as a direct action raid force would be conducting a walk to contact as part of a work up?

>Even though the homeguard basically consists of old men, they are not stupid.
But you apparently are, if you believed this shit tier story, that is if you aren’t just pulling this out of your gaping Scandinavian ass.

>They found them very quickly and from former experiences with these fucks, they knew they just had to wait with the attack till they began eating (because somehow they always forgot securing their sites when eating).
...Uh huh

>Once the homeguard saw them cooking
1. Pour water in bag
2. Place on a rock, or something

>6 old men went in and took the whole 20-ish guys as prisoners.
Sounds legit.

>Having failed this test, they got another chance. Dont know the details of this one, but i know it ended with 2 communications officers finding them sleeping by accident, and taking them as prisoners there too.
Woah bro, 2 on 20 this time? Totally fucking elite. Don’t mess with the Homeguard!

>They didnt get their deployment
Yeah, cause it’s not like JSOC specifically operates around the rotational package concept. You can totally just slash a Batt from deploying at the snap of your fingers without issue.

Rangers most often operate at the platoon level.

>How did the poor lad got killed?
youtube.com/watch?v=VUfj9qom6_I

He’s a big guy

Should I try out for RASP 1 or hold off for a while and try RASP 2?

I could get an option 40 contract with an 11X MOS, but I have 2 degrees and Id feel stupid for trying for OCS. Ill be graduating this month and going up to MEPs not too long after

Attached: 1556760467941.jpg (400x400, 20K)

SDVT-1 was their posting. They weren't tier 1. Not that they Weren't shit hot seals, but it wasn't their current speciality.

Americans have actually traditionally been quite short. Average height of a US and Confederate soldier during the Civil War was 5'8.

What the FUCK was his problem?

Wanted to start a global war for shits n gigs

How much steroids do you have to do get traps and a neck that big?

pretty sure this is the average.

That's not really a promotion, it's lateral. And a lot of people in the Army regard corporal as a bitch rank.

>In 2009 the rangers came to Denmark before a deployment to afghanistan to test their skills.

A fuck ton of guys in ranger and SF are very smart guys, working on their bachelors and often in the older more experienced bracket. Having a couple degrees is almost a prerequisite for going past SSgt.

If you're fit with have top tier cardio and can handle stress well, you'd be on the right track for being a high speed soldier. Can never tell if you dont try though. If you're apprehensive about it, just try infantry for a contract or two.

Based boulder puncher

night night, Ronny!

>Average height of a US and Confederate soldier during the Civil War was 5'8.

That's about above average compared to the rest of the world around that time. The only time the US military had a problem with height was during WWII when most of the solders were short as fuck due to the malnutrition caused by the Great Depression.

Imagine spending millions to get these guys trained back when deployments were all over the place but first we need to send them to fucking Denmark, no I don't care if you need more troops they're going to Denmark first

>build entire base in US desert and multiple extra training areas to simulate the middle east and constantly rotate soldiers through them
>but yeah some small lowlands country in europe is the benchmark to see if theyre ready to go to the middle east

That was a global phenomenon, the low physical quality of a significant proportion of recruits troops spurred on the establishment of the national healthcare systems of Europe.

>getting fragged by your own squad out of jaw envy

Sad!

Why is it that back in the day Rangers looked so average? Like SEALs and Recon grew beards, long hair, wore sneakers and hiking shoes, wore whatever mix macthed uniform or sometimes just aircrew overalls, they wanted, wore their own webbing, cammed their weapons and wore oakleys. Rangers had to wear standard shit, bright US flag patches sewn on meticulously had to obey the dress manual(muh airborne high standards!), had shitty haircuts etc.

Ah. A time when the US Military actually still had something resembling standards and the title of "Special Forces" wasn't just an excuse to be a lazy cunt who LARPs as a biker gang faggot

Can we get a Jow Forumsino 90s and early 2000s 75th Ranger Regiment thread going?

Double points and pregnant Anne Frank hentai shall be awarded for pics of Ranger Body Armor in training/action (it's really fucking hard to actually find decent pics of RBA in use, idk if that means that Rangers didn't like wearing it or something).

Attached: 1990s Army Rangers.png (572x904, 791K)

Im joining the army to basically just be a ranger, ive been toying around with different MOS's but I keep coming back to that desire to be in the 75th. But I really think I could be a good officer and I want to put the degrees to some use.

This wont get any flak at all.

Every fat homeguard fuckup have always pwned a special elite murder rape force when acting as opfor.

Ok here ya go

Smaller targets.

All of my tall friends are dead.

One of the other vets I have some classes with is like the straight up bare minimum for the army and he was a 12B. It cracks me up to think of the little guy rucking.

The skull of a fucking space marine

Honestly in cases of friendly fire is it customary to return fire? I mean nothing personal if you're trying to kill me I'm going to try and kill you I don't care whose side you're on.

Why did Blackhawk Down (book) make Rangers seem like a bunch of fuck ups?

^This

It was a murder to try and coverup the lie the American people were told. Him coming home and breaking the bad news to the public would have been a PR disaster.

>Honestly in cases of friendly fire is it customary to return fire?
Typically, no. In this case, he should have. I believe he was murdered to prevent a popular pretty boy from returning to the states to talk shit about the two shitshows that he attended. He was grooming himself to be an activist against both wars. There was a massive coverup. His armor was ordered to be destroyed. People were ordered to lie. The dude that admitted to shooting him cannot tell purple from grey, nor can he tell puffs from constant discharge. Weird testimony was made about the 249 being inherently vastly more accurate than an M4/16. The case just does not have the ring of a true story.

Night right, Ronny
