Oftentimes, half of the money for a med kit is tied to the pouch. Considerable savings can be had by going with a more economical option that does most of the work of a more expensive option. That leaves the rest of the money for the guts. Skip the items that you are not able to use, because you have no one competent to use them, and further savings can be made. Baby steps.
