Americans on fucking suicide watch, confirmed Russia won WW2 single handily.
Please type F for Americans;
>But it’s unlikely the aid turned the war entirely in the Soviet Union’s favor, as the German military was overstretched even during the 1941 invasion. That vulnerability was exposed terribly during the Red Army’s 1941–1942 Moscow counter-offensive—and it’s unlikely Germany would have won the war even if it had captured Moscow. And that was when Lend-Lease was just beginning. >All the while, the Western Allies provided enormous quantities of supplies and other aid under the Lend-Lease policy. The United States and the United Kingdom supplied more than 21 million tons of aid to the Soviet Union during the war, including thousands of tanks and warplanes. >The reality was a bit more complicated—and perhaps inconclusive. Most likely, the Soviets would have won regardless, as the Eastern Front for the Germans was unwinnable after the Battle of Stalingrad, before most of the aid to the USSR arrived. But Lend-Lease also certainly helped shorten the war and saved lives. >But it’s unlikely the aid turned the war entirely in the Soviet Union’s favor, as the German military was overstretched even during the 1941 invasion. Please make sure you type "Thank you" to every Russian you see from now on, as they are the victors of WW2 and the only reason you aren't speaking German right now.

Juan Edwards
Are you that much of a total fucking retard? All the battles the US took part in WW2, were irrelevant and did nothing. Russia took part in all the major battles, and war changing battles.
Daniel Clark
>speaking German Oh how awful, Spanish is so much easier to learn
How awkward do you think it was for every German girl who had leg quivering organisms when soviet men took their v cards ?
Noah Mitchell
i feel sorry for americans desu them shouting "MUHH LEND LEASE" was the only excuse they had to try and steal the spotlight from russia.. now they have nothing
Liam Williams
>>>/leftypol/ and take you blogpost with you homie
Jayden Moore
I mean, sure. We didnt exactly carry the European theater. But fuck you. We owned the goddamn Pacific and helped a great deal in the mediterranean.
Ethan Johnson
Sure, but at the end of the day, they had to return to the Soviet Union, and the Americans got to go back to America. It’d suck to fight a war in a civilized country like Germany only to be sent back to Russia if you survive.
Jacob Brown
>But fuck you. We owned the goddamn Pacific and helped a great deal in the mediterranean.
Irrelevant battles, come back when you fought relevant and war changing battles like Russia, such as the Battle of Stalingrad where over 2 million people died and many others such as;
>2 million people died If only it'd been more. Maybe then, the Soviets wouldn't have had enough men left to take over a bunch of sovereign states.
Ethan Gomez
>Hurr Durr we russia stronk because we sent retard starving peasants with sticks directly into german machine guns until they ran out of ammo Meanwhile the US built the strongest navy in world history, basically solo'd the nips, while also fighting in western front, Africa/Mediterranean, and built fucking nukes. They could have literally taken over the world after WWII.
Aaron Martin
>That one American that gets his history from Hollywood movies

>Russians so scared of Japan after Tsushima, the Russo-Japanese War, and Khalkhin Gol that they made a non-aggression pact during WW2 because they didn't want to get their shit pushed in for a fourth time in half a century L.O.L.

>russia was heavily dependent on railways for everything in ww2 >92.7% of all railroad equipment was supplied by lend lease

>They could have literally taken over the world after WWII We should've. Patton was right: the Russians were subhuman mongoloids.

You should count all those battles combined, and see just the casualties both Russians and Germans faced, and then look at American causalities and against who they faced and the enemies.. you'll laugh at just how useless the US was.
>American mutts actually think they would have taken over Russia
Had a bit of a brainfart. The Soviets won at Khalkhin Gol and that's what created the non-aggression pact, but then the Soviets later attacked Japanese forces the same day the nuke was dropped...yet some Slavs/Slavaboos claim that act of the Soviets attacking in Asia alone is what ended the War in the Pacific. Yet they have the audacity to claim America "came in at the last minute and takes all the credit."
Stalinist pigs. Start off allied WITH Germany, miss the betrayal that was obviously coming, lose millions of men in stupid actions, demand the allies supply you and open up a second front, then declare war on the other opponent right at the end just to claim some land and credit.
>But it’s unlikely the aid turned the war entirely in the Soviet Union’s favor, as the German military was overstretched even during the 1941 invasion >overstretched >other battles that german took support away from the eastern front were irrelevent If Germany did not have to fight in Italy, France and Africa they would have burned russia to the ground
They are too busy collecting german POW's and saving them from r*ssian war crimes.
Aiden Smith
>they would have burned russia to the ground
No they wouldn't have, mutt. The only Germans you beat, were ones that were already beat up from previous battles and wanted to end it all. D-day is a good example, where you had soldiers that already previously fought, and gave up after they ran out of ammo and surrendered.
Come back when the US was up against 1.5million hardened soldiers which Russian had to face multiple times.
Don't forget, US also was deep in war crimes as well, and went around executing German soldiers because ((((they)))) told them.
Aaron Wilson
So basically you are saying that the US had to fight hardened veterans and the r*ssian inexperienced conscripts? Gotcha.
Samuel Morgan
Incorrect, although there was only one example of this and that was D'day. Where US got literally slaughtered like a pack of animals, and only "got victory" because Germans ran out of ammunition and surrendered.
Easton Long
thanks for giving me a propaganda peice ivan now you can die by the millions in peace while we feed you and put gas in your war machine
>The only Germans you beat, were ones that were already beat up from previous battles and wanted to end it all >They did not have enough soliders for the western front >they were overstretched
>after they ran out of ammo and surrendered >did not have enough supplies >they were overstretched Both of your points show that germany was stretched to the max and could not handle multiple fronts. None of this disproves they would win 1v1 against russia
>german soldiers are you being dense on purpose you do remember what they call the rape of berlin, but it stretched back to invasions from as far east as poland
Brandon Collins
>post mutt pics when you can't come up with a retort Classic.
Try again mutt, if sex happened it's because the German girls asked for it.
John Cook
post address so I can make you ask for it
Owen Mitchell
Don't be so gullible next time, mutt. Don't believe stupid rape stories. German girls were known to fuck Russian soldiers, because we were the victors.
Wyatt Collins
Recently there is talk of the WW2 "echo" effect on Russia today. The jist of it is they took such heavy casualties fighting the Nazis it's responsible for Russia's demographic crises. 1 out of every 4 Russian military aged males was killed during the war.
That's what happens when your war is run by a paranoid madman named Stalin.
Justin Jenkins
i dont think you have been to russia if u believe this
Samuel Roberts
Ah yes, correcting a small aspect of my post whe ignoring the rest. Typical vatnik
-Start war on the side of the Axis, double-team Poland with Germany -Bungle the invasion of Finland (inb4 "b-but Russia won". That victory came at an inexcusably high cost and it was purely because stupid mistakes, there is no taking pride in that and anyone saying otherwise is delusional) -Get backstabbed by Germany and fail to see it coming when numerous examples for that trend already existed and were noticed by literally the rest of the world -Stavka doesn't allow forces to counterattack because Stalin is shocked his BF broke up with him, it comes down to individual officers ordering counterattacks -Many of those counterattacks fail -Spend the first year of the war throwing lives away -Spend the rest of it siphoning off of allied nations -Barely survive fighting in one theater of war -Claim you did everything by yourself and there was nothing else going on at the time -Your claim rests on the argument of "We lost the most people, therefor we did the most" -Steal allies' secrets so you can try to backstab/threaten them when the war is over
Is there an adequate word to describe such a mixture of incompetence & sleaziness?
Here is one story with numbers rbth.com/lifestyle/329586-russia-population-small >Between 1941-1945, the Soviet Union lost between 25 and 30 million people >the official assessment is 26.6 million >this demographic “hole” is repeated in every generation >those unborn people resulted in the next demographic downfall in the late 1960s, then in the 1990s >and now Russia faces its third ‘echo’ of war This is the echo effect in a nutshell.
Hunter Barnes
>Is there an adequate word to describe such a mixture of incompetence & sleaziness? cheeki breeki!
>-Steal allies' secrets so you can try to backstab/threaten them when the war is over
Special shout-out to britian, for being massively incompetent in almost every facet of how they handled the war both during and prior to--but this fact especially. Thanks for the extra scientists screened by your legendary intelligence agencies.
David Evans
pretty sure without the allies distracting them on the west the soviets would have been pushed back far enough east that stalin would have gone insane and necked himself
Julian Brooks
yeah, yeah. i'm american and i don't give a shit about that. we all worked together back then and that was a nice thing. that should be all there is to it. the russians helped us a lot and we helped the russians a lot. real good shit, yeah
Colton Young
It was pretty goddam stupid to sell the USSR jet engines and seriously think they would: pay for them, and not immediately stick them into military aircraft. I know Britain really needed the money after the war, but goddam.

>VVS couldn't have flown without TEL additives and mixing domestic low octane supplies with lend lease avgas >One third of the trucks in Soviet service were US built >Luftwaffe gutted by '44 by Western Allies >Thousands of 88's pulled off the Eastern Front to defend Germany's air space from USAAF and Bomber Command >Roughly a third of Germany's munition production went toward strategic bomber defense >Staggering numbers of planes built to combat the Western Allies exclusively, with 2244 Ju-88G's built in the last year of the war alone >Operation Bagration required coordination with the Western Allies to pull off >2/3's of the Luftwaffe was devoted to fighting the USAAF and RAF by the beginning of 1944
The Soviets needed the Western Allies to actually push into Europe and get the agricultural sectors of Ukraine and Belarus producing crops, not bodies, and go on the offensive. They couldn't have done it without the fuel to keep their air force in the air and the trucks needed to keep the army moving. It goes without saying that the frankly staggering re-allocation of resources to fighting the air war in the West plays a major role as well. The Soviets simply could not have taken on a Wehrmacht with thousands of more guns at their disposal, much greater supplies of ammunition, and an airforce that undoubtedly would've controlled the skies over Eastern Europe, capable of providing accurate, frequent reconnaissance, local interdiction, and tactical level bombing that would've proved decisive against an army performing a large offensive and incapable of defending its rear-echelon assets. I haven't gone into the industrial contributions of the western allies but this is more than enough.
>Russia
Russia was but one member of the Soviet Union and its disgusting to hear this used as a political tool. It was the Soviet Union that repelled the Germans, not just Russia. What of the 1 in 4 Belorussians who died in the war? Are their sacrifices to be ignored?
you make a really bad case for your country, you faced 1.5 million you lost 10 million
Joshua Peterson
B29 Bomber, American industry, and two nukey boys won the war.
Leo Butler
>Most likely, the Soviets would have won regardless, as the Eastern Front for the Germans was unwinnable after the Battle of Stalingrad, before most of the aid to the USSR arrived. But Lend-Lease also certainly helped shorten the war and saved lives. I've been saying this for ages. It's not even Stalingrad, Russians proved they can stop Nazis in 1941 at Moscow.
Noah Campbell
>you faced 1.5 million you lost 10 million This is factually incorrect.
Austin Young
Russkies only pulled that one off with forces supposed to stop Japan invasion.
Russia colluded with the Nazis and invaded and murdered thousands of poles. Then the Nazis betrayed the naive commies and paid them for all their great work. > tfw every communist that died in ww2 had it coming.
Angel Phillips
The Russians lost numerous times. It’s only thru the guarantee of death (which is to say their only chance of surviving was to fight) did the soviets encourage their troops to fight.
Hudson Martin
>1942 US: fighting in the pacific, joins the fight in North Africa. Strategic bombing of German Industry and infrastructure. SU: Still struggling to reclaim land lost in 41. >1943 US: Fighting in the Pacific, Invasion of Sicily followed by the invasion of the Italian mainland. Strategic bombing of German Industry and infrastructure. Lend-Lease starting to come into real numbers. SU: Still struggling to reclaim land lost in 41. >1944 US: Fighting in the Pacific, Italy and invasion of mainland Europe, by the end of 44 US troops are at the German border threatening the important industrial areas in the Ruhr and Saar. Strategic bombing of German Industry and infrastructure. SU: Still reclaiming land lost in 41. >1945 US: Japanese are all but beaten in the Pacific, nukes make sure they are. Continued push into the German heartland. Strategic bombing of German Industry and infrastructure. SU: Finally getting their thumbs out of their asses and making big pushes out of their own prewar territory. Joining the fight in Asia just as it is over, but at least they held up their end of the deal.
Justin Lewis
>such as the Battle of Stalingrad where over 2 million people died Why do vatniks always think that losses are some sort of positive metric of progress in war?

Why couldn’t the Japanese just have invaded russia and done away with that nation?

Cool, meanwhile America dabs on Russian mercs unintentionally and leaves hundreds dead, Putin sweeps it under the rug. Stop living in the past Ivan.
Jackson Smith
Of course that was the only part your FAS brain registered.
japan and germany effectively have no grand strategy their goals and interests have little overlap and occasionally outright disagree
crushing russia like a vice from east to west would have hypothetically won an axis victory, provided the US didnt intervene like they did in real life
the problem is that japan invading Russia would have pulled troops away from China and set back their invasion of SEA, which they needed for resources to continue the war in the first place germany would also control the politically important and industry laden Europe side, while japan will get Siberia, which doesnt have enough industry to extract its raw material before the americans arrive
the only time you get japan and germany working as a machine like the allies did is if you are playing Axis and Allies, and have a single person control the entire axis
Logan Sanders
that's such a fucking meme, it would be more a white peace treaty for britain and usa than not such bullshit like germany wanted to conquer the world.
Benjamin Lewis
Pic related is the author of that article. A literal numale from Wired.
This is why nobody with half a brain takes retard tier "sources" like national interest or war is boring seriously.
kek Didn't TNI just post an article claiming that the USAF needed to be dismantled and given to the Navy? What the fuck are they smoking over there?

But will they ever pull out of Kurils? I do not bloody think so, so stay upset.

>tfw your country is such a pathetic, worthless fucking shithole your only glorious achievement is "beating back" the germans after they massacred millions of your people but its alright since your countrymen breed and behave exactly like vermin >act like twisting the arm of a country that broke its wrist punching you in the dick repeatedly while wrestling with 3 other world powers is an achievement >all while on fucking welfare from daddy america I can imagine few things that crawl this earth so lowly as the average russian in the 21st century.
