This isn't even the worst of it. Occasionally KS will have decent deals on some things, but some shit is just ridiculous. Their worst offense by far was the whole bakelite mag fiasco. They teased for months in their emails that they would be selling bakelite mags eventually. Everyone just assumed they were gonna buy a bunch of bulk Izzys and sell them at a modest profit. When they finally when up each on was rated by "grade". They were trying to sell good condition Tulas for like 180 bucks a piece, which from any reasonable point of view is fucking ridiculous. Molot RPK bakelite mags don't even go for that much NOW, let alone 4-5 years ago or whenever it was.

I normally try not to hate on Ivan too much, but they do make mistakes. I don't think he's a total shekelstien like people make him out to be on here, but you should definitely exercise caution and check prices to other websites before pulling the trigger on anything from KS

I am in Norway. Last weekend I went on a roadtrip to an 'army surplus sale' run by the Army's logistics department. It might be a decade since the last time I went to one of these, because it's always at some depot far away and it is only open a couple of times per year.. The last time I went, I was knee deep in uniforms and gear and material priced to pocket change. This time I was shocked to find that not only was most of their 'surplus' brand new Mil-Tec stuff that had never set foot in our armed forces and almost everything else was surplus from other countries, and EVERYTHING was priced to sports store levels. What the FUCK happened? Four hour long car ride, and they sell 40 euro ammo cans, 30 dollar DPM pants in midget size only and Mil-tec canteens? I found only one single Norwegian military jacket from the 1960s, all other jackets were from other armies and in some cases not even military, and they all started at 40 euros. I went home with so few items I could have carried all in a bucket - with room to spare. I don't know what the Norwegian army is doing with all its surplus uniforms but they sure don't seem eager to sell them to us taxpayers who already paid once for them.

They realized selling a pallet of binos for 200nok was a really bad deal and started charging what the market will pay
