Everything you are saying is objectively wrong. If money is your issue just get that canik one series or a glock/s&w/fnh/ruger trade-in in 9mm.

They will work fine. Just make sure you get the Ruger brand mags, the aftermarket ones are the only ones that I have had issues with.

i found one in a creek bed once, dont even remember the brand. cleaned all the mud out of it and used it for like 5 years before i sold my rifle, worked great.

I have no idea what this is demonstrating.

If it's tolerances, I've worked with enough products to know slop can be more functional than trash-trap jams

I’ve got the 25 round made by Ruger and it works fine. I’ve put maybe 400 rounds through that magazine specifically with literally zero issues. Could be luck though I don’t know. If you want a good deal, check out ordering them from gunmagwarehouse. I got mine pretty cheap there.

luck of the draw, my two 25s from ruger work but my buddy bought 5 recently and two of those have problems. don’t buy third party ones

As others are saying don’t buy aftermarket. I made that mistake never again

My BX-25 has been flawless for years.

10/22 30 round mags are crap. 10/22 10 round mags are crap. 10/22s in general are crap.

Get a .22lr mp5. The GSG is more accurate than a bull barrel 10/22 and 30 round mags are standard, and function normally. Not the retarded spring system ruger decided to use.

I would not suggest them. Even the Ruger BX-25 ones. I bought more BX-25s than I'm willing to admit all at once thinking they would be a good product and every single one of them perform like shit. Try to fire all 25 rounds and I am guaranteed 3-4 stove pipes per mag. It's not the gun, it's not the ammo, it's the mag. The 10 round mag that came with the gun works flawlessly with all the different types of ammo I have (Winchester, Remington, Aguila) but the BX-25s, regardless of the ammo, stove pipe 3-4 times per mag. It's a shit magazine and if you look into jamming problems with them online you will find all kinds of videos and articles talking about how they wiggle in the gun because they aren't even made to the same specs as the 10 round mags and they stove pipe like crazy.

If anyone knows a sure fire solution to this I'd love to hear it because I spent a good amount of money on these BX-25 mags and as they perform right now they are pretty much all worthless to me.

Best are Tac Inc. BX-25s are barely any better than Butler Creeks.

BX-25s work great. I have 3. I've never had a mag related malfunction with one. The 10/22 in general? Oh, fuck loads.

damn where can i cop that ruger magpul?

Do a C-clamp grip using the mag like a vertical grip on an AR and you shouldn't have issues.

Can't always be spending $1000/month on larp stuff when you have a big boi mortgage and plan to retire some day.

I got a four bx 25 mags, they've worked pretty well for a hi cap 22 mag.

Re-tire? What's that? A skin for Fornite?

Yeah you can. It's called get a better job, or save up for a few extra mo this and get some thing worth a damn.

I dont think you understand. Get paid more? Save more. I know typical niggerthink isn't that, but I plan on retiring.

ruger brand are ok, anything with a poly feed lip is garbage though. i prefer the standard ruger 10 mags 3 at a time with these holding them together. easier to go prone and a lil practice they are quite fast to flip.

They work great as long as you keep them clean. I have about 7-8k rounds through my two and I would estimate I get one malfunction every 200 rounds. They need to be cleaned every 1k or so to keep running reliably, it's fairly easy and you can find vids on YouTube. In any case, rimfire isn't optimal as I'm sure you know, but I can understand your financial position. Get a 12 gauge shotgun as soon as you have the means.

Nice one nigger, now load a couple rounds and do the same thing.

You can buy a M&P sport 2, a really great AR for like 600. If you cant afford even the most basic bitch AR why even get a gun in the first place. Or buy a PSA at for 400.

Or a Mav 88 pump action for like 200.

>If you cant afford even the most basic bitch AR why even get a gun in the first place
This is blatantly retarded. There is hundreds if not thousands of guns worth owning under $400.

Seconding this much better advice.

Start naming them. Not pistols, this is for home defense, so fuck pistols.

Btw, the guy who suggested the mav 88, is the same guy who said get the M&P sport 2. Bes

>Lucky for me I have an AR build already. But after aftermarket parts, mags, and startup blammo it's like $1k. So listing justvthe price of the gun is kinda misleading.

>GSG
lmfao! GSG is an AIRSOFT/BB GUN manufacturer! THEY MAKE POTMETAL GARBAGE!!!!! Are you some retarded shill, or just a retard? Fucking fag.

I've got about 1000 rounds through 4 bx 25 mags. No jams besides golden bullet with bent heads and shit (ammo related, basically). Love those fuckin' mags.

GSG mags don't have springs? You don't own one, do you? In fact, you don't own any guns at all. GTFO, nigger.

Well the very obvious answer to OP's problem is a shotgun, for which almost anything pump-action can be had for under the $500, with most falling around the $200-300 range. I'm not going to list out the absurd number of options that exist but I'll give you this link since clearly you've never looked around: gunbroker.com/shotguns/search?PageSize=24&Sort=0&View=1&MaxPrice=400.00&MinPrice=0.00

>this is for home defense
My statement wasn't in reference to home defense in the first place, and neither was what it responded to. Reread:

THIS.
If you need some home defense, go buy a Maverick or Mossberg 12 gauge. I just saw a Mossberg 500 with an 18" barrel for $249 at Walmart a couple hours ago. Buy a Mossy, and 3 boxes of #4 buck along with a cleaning kit. Run 2 boxes of ammo at a range or in the woods to check function and get used to the noise and recoil. Clean your gun and keep in a safe place at home. Done.

10/22 with a RDS is fine for HD.

Use BX-25s and Velociters or Mini-Mags.

Just shoot them a lot, which with a 22 is very easy.

A guy a "graduated" with (not really but he was black so they passed him to get him out) was killed with a Marlin 60 and Golden Bullets.

Dude died right the fuck there too.

Source: Cop friends.

Not saying its the best though of course, but to pretend a .22 is a toy is a bad mistake.

Aim Well, and shoot until they drop and it will do fine, just like any other gun desu.

>10/22 with a RDS is fine for HD.
Not sure what the rest of you post means, but a 10/22 with even a 10 round mag will discourage a junkie from crawling through your bathroom window at 3AM if you aim for the optical orbits. Home defense IS important, and the 2nd Amendment was a guarantee given to us by our founding fathers to be able to defend our homes, families, and personal property. Get a gun, learn all safety and legal issues, and teach all household members how to defend the home safely and legally.

I am doing a lot of 10/22 reliability tests, never less then 100 rounds.

The 10 round rotary magazine is nearly 100% realiable (1-2 malfunctions at 1000 rounds), with the BX-25 (old and new ones) I get 20 malfunctions per 1000 rounds. They only work relatively reliable when they are 100% clean, after you have shot 1-2 mags, they are dirty enough to loose reliablity.

My choice for home defense is the 3 x 10 Magazine, reliablity > capacity

The GSG-110 round magazine was also pretty reliable, but you need to use ammo without wax coated bullets.

GSG is underrated, Ruger is overrated its a FACT try both. The GSG 10/22 magazine works pretty well.

Go for a black dog machine drum desu, heard nothing but shit about how they're reliable for a 50 rounder
