Played that game so much. It was like a WW2 Ace Combat before I knew what Ace Combat was. Wish it got a sequel taking it to the end of the war in both theaters or even a prequel with WW1 / interwar stuff.

Secret Weapons got me into WWII Aviation. I was also a pleasant surprise to find out that the museum they used for a lot of reference was only an hour away from me.
Going to the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino and the yearly Chino Air Show was a big part of my high school years.

Horrible flight models and generally a total mess, the devs found out that presentation can win them enough premium players to not have to care about actually fixing issues with their games. That and there's a bias towards one of the factions.
