How to get old SADF and Rhodie gear to US market

I'm a saffa with a decent amount of SADF and Rhodesian gear I'd like to sell. I know there's a market for this stuff (bayonets, webbing, uniforms, mess gear, bush gear) in the states, but I can't find a good way to get it there.

Any advice?

Is putting it on eBay not an option?

No 'assault weapon' related goods allowed. Plus not ideal with shipping out of this hole.

This is where I buy my SADF gear and where I look for new stuff.

You have to ship it somehow. That’s partly why it’s expensive. All that stuff is allowed on eBay btw

there is SADF gear on ebay all the time. It's not against their rules to sell surplus military kit. webbing, uniforms, battle jackets, all allowed. Tons of bayonets on ebay, all allowed.

Unless saffa ebay is any different than normal ebay, you can sell just about anything that isn't specifically a gun or magazine, hell, you can even sell gun parts on ebay. If any problems with the shipping arrive it would end up being more the fault of the importee than the importer.

I believe I was being taken down for listing R1 stuff then mentioning it is a FAL copy, Ebay would pick up FN FAL and take down the listing.

Weird, I've bought plenty of gun furniture off eBay with zero issues in the past.

I used to import standard issue Pattern 83 and some 70 items to resell on ebay. Over the last few years the demand has gone down while the cost to ship goods in has gone up. It's at a point where the goods have to be sold for a higher price for less profit.

The rhodieboos here and on fagbook claiming they will totally buy from you to #slot #floppies eks-dee eks-dee will usually balk as soon as they see the price is too high for mommy's credit card.

So long as you have a way for the US guys to pay normally and the estimates/capability to ship it internationally, the other SA Ebay/biborbuy sellers seem to do just fine.
