vr is still in it's early stages but the stuff seems to develop quickly. yea its a proof of concept but if this gets enough attention in 4 years this thing could be perfected.

The developer is a fat antifa cuck with the personality of an average redditor who is strictly against people owning bumpstocks, binary triggers, and braces, but he's a talented antifa cuck who keeps 99% of his politics out of his product. I tried it for an hour but I refunded it. The scale of the weapons seemed off to me (smaller than in real life) and I really didn't care for the mini-games.

It's a single guy doing everything except modeling (people donate models for him to use) - he does all rigging, coding, programming, and mapping, and he works HARD AS FUCK if you actually follow development, even before considering the fact that he has to build support for 4 totally different controllers whenever he adds a major feature.

As for the against NFA loophole stuff, someone asked to add in a bumpstock on the game's subreddit and he said items designed to skirt the NFA didn't sit well with him.

The entire import market is currently designed to skirt gun laws. Remember that the executive bans and reinterpretations were originally thought to end nearly 100% of firearm imports. It's pretty much ruined most regular fps games for me (except for insurgency and squad).
I probably play at least an hour of Take and Hold almost daily.
Yeah, there's no recoil, and some guns are kind of awkward without a stock, but it has the most realistic handling of firearms out of any other shooter to date, and that's more than enough to keep me playing it.
That and the sheer number of weapons, not too mention a very active dev who puts a lot of effort into perfecting it.

On a side note, nothing makes you more aware of the limitations of the basic-bitch Vive, than looking down rifle sights at a distant target and realizing that you can't even really see the target or the sights.
Isn't just the Vive. I have an Odyssey+ and while I can see targets perfectly fine, the sights usually become some really shitty blur.
With the environments we have now it's pretty much all point shooting, really wish we had at least SOME longer-ranged stuff. Currently having a bolt-action is more of a handicap.

I am and at least on my headset, any rifle is a pain in the ass to use. Tracking is fucked up when I am really holding the controllers like I would a rifle and not actually holding a rifle makes me shake all over the place.

Have you tried the virtual stock? It actually is really helpful, it simulates a third point of contact and makes shooting rifles a hell of a lot more stable.
Sure, have it enabled. Still I sway like crazy with scopes.
With regular iron sights, it's no problem. I can hit anything at 200m with the G3.
How could controller manufacturers go about simulating recoil better? It would obviously need more than just adding basic rumble feature to them. Perhaps expand upon nintendo's "hd rumble" featured in the switch controllers?
Yeah, anything with zoom is universally pretty useless in VR. That's all the ideas I had, I personally stick with red dots.
Well, VR is pretty young. But I originally got my headset for sims and honestly, the VR headset was about as much a revelation as load cell pedals.
In a year or two I might upgrade, I am really thrilled about what the future brings.
Yeah, I'm waiting on either foveated rendering or my current vive to kick the bucket before I upgrade. Foveated is going to be such an insane performance boost that it will really kickstart some very detailed games.

no, he actually commissions them from different people, he talks about them in his update videos and has mentioned that sometimes some models are gifted to him, that's why every gun looks a bit different as in they look like if they were made by different people with loose standarts, because they were, but i only noticed it when i stopped and actually started to look for flaws in the desing of the weapons

Got myself a Samsung Odyessey prety much exclusively to play it and Pavlov. It's prety damn good, but the lack of tactile trigger feel and lack of recoil simulation in the controllers basically permafuck it for use as an actual training aid, at least for me personally. It's still a good bit of fun though. I'm actually going to try and fix that once i get situated in the new house, got some ideas for superior firearms controllers.
