I've thought about getting a mini-14 but they're too expensive and, from what Daddy Harrel tells me, the variances in the production quality have me worried I'll get one that can't hit a barn if I'm standing inside it.

I wouldn't go all "New Vegas wood AR" because its honestly the lack of the pistol grip and the picatinny rail being present that kinda do it for me.
