This. There is something to be said for capacity and weight in a pistol or AR platform, but if you train well a shotty is lethal for anything, ANYTHING under 100m.
A miss of a fraction of an inch at muzzle may pass by at 5 yards with a single projectile.
Spread is commonly overestimated, but +1" (~25MM) for every yard beyond muzzle gives you a good chance to still BTFO with what would otherwise be a clean miss at even at 5 yards, especially under stress.
Pick #4 as well. Check your pattern. Cruiser ready (safety off) Clamp a light.
