14/16-inch, 1/7 twist is good enough. I would like to see a nitride barrel tested against a chrome lined barrel for heat durability and accuracy.

maybe if you buy your AR's instead of building them, if you actually build your own AR's dwell time must be taken into consideration. my brother in law just built a .300 AAC pistol with a mid length gas system on a 10in barrel, guess what doesnt cycle?
