No. Billet lowers are heavy memes. Just get an LMT MARS L, or if you insist on being different try out a LWRC full ambi lower, ADM UIC full ambi lower, or Radian lower. Right hand bolt hold open is a very nice feature.

There is no way on god's green earth that anyone is selling the ambi KAC lowers for $210. Even if they were, the KAC lowers only have a bolt release on the right side, not a full bolt catch. LMT and LWRC's lowers are better.

Ambi is a nice feature to have if you're not poor, no real reason not to have it if you can afford it. Bolt hold and release on the right side is convenient, and it helps if you're wrong handed or have wrong handed friends that often shoot your rifle.

Forged aluminum is stronger and lighter because having a big hammer smack the aluminum into shape does good things to the metal.

However, those special big hammers are very expensive, so if you want to economically manufacture a small run of a receiver that has a different shape, you have to instead mill each one out of a big rectangular block of aluminum (a billet). Even then, they'll still be more expensive than forged receivers, due to economies of scale. This higher price has led to many thinking billet receivers are an inherently superior product, when they are generally an inferior product.

I question the battery life of these Chinese optics after I had a Primary Arms "Advanced" red dot die on me after being on for only a few months. I am somewhat comfortable using a Chinese prismatic optic that has a reticle etched on the glass, since I could use that if the battery died or electronics fried themselves. For an optic that 100% relies on batteries, I'm just not going to go Chinese.
