The purpose of this thread has nothing to do with politics...

The purpose of this thread has nothing to do with politics. This is adoration of the conflict between control and resistance. Oppressors and oppressed. In 2010 there was a internal conflict in Kyrgyztan mostly in the capitol of Bishkek. Doesn't matter what it was about. It was maximum clank. We can do Ukraine Automaidan later.

Ahh fun times.

Attached: Ivan What The Shit.jpg (463x768, 75K)

The protesters/rebels/rioters/opposition got mad. They drove trucks through police lines and barricades. They broke into the police armoury and took their weapons and fought back.

Attached: pict219.jpg (610x430, 53K)

Take this shit to /his/
I see nothing related to the use of guns or weapons.

The state used violence to suppress them.

Okay, I'll stop posting.

No this is Jow Forums af and I've never heard of this conflict. Moar.

Both sides used snipers.

Attached: shot1139.jpg (600x415, 110K)

2000 dead. They couldn't figure out what to call the conflict. It has about 5 different names.

This is secret police beating a protester.

Sorry. Forgot to give caption on this one. The riot cops are trying to climb over a wall to escape a wave of protesters.

Also sorry for the weird file sizes. This conflict is not well documented and finding pictures of it is surprisingly hard.

bump

> Barnabus Fyfe is beaten with his own weapon while on riot duty

They managed to kill part of the countries cabinet in several home invasions. Overwhelming bodyguards and killing ministers in their own homes. Like I said they were mad.

Attached: pict222.jpg (610x481, 44K)

That guy is peak terrorcore and most definitely fucks

The cops and the protesters were equally scared of eachother.

Attached: pict244 (1).jpg (610x384, 45K)

Based

Was here for that.
Good times.

How old were you? And did you participate in any of the protests or riots, assuming you can post about it without comprimising PerSec?

If you guys want to help out with riot pictures that would keep things chugging along. Like I said this conflict is poorly documented and I am running out of stock. I don't have the full context of this one but it's a police formation after being hit with either a grenade or rocket tube.

Attached: pict242.jpg (610x382, 32K)

The system can bleed.

This is a side by side of a opposition protester being caressed by the cops and his body being found a few hours later.

Attached: pict224.jpg (610x446, 63K)

Fuck. Arrested. Whatever both work.

Attached: pict231.jpg (610x452, 44K)

Sorry forgot caption. There is at least one other picture of the same man with armed opposition protesters. That day 17 people died and 142 wounded.

Cool thread OP. Keep it coming.

Thanks. Like I said there really isn't alot of photos of what happened. I think I will move on to the automaidan riots in a bit. I'm gonna smoke and have a conversation with a stubborn woman in the mean time. If the thread dies I'll start a new one. Caption a cop who was shot by an opposition sniper is dragged to safety.

Attached: pict232.jpg (610x426, 40K)

for the record this was an rpg strike against a police formation. not sure what model of rocket but i know it was stolen from the police armoury. if anyone can identify the rocket tubes they were using that would be interesting.

>Overwhelming bodyguards and killing ministers in their own homes

Absolutely based and 1776pilled.

Are you fucking serious?
>civilians breaking into a police armory and shooting back has nothing to do with the use of guns or weapons

Kys my man

This is Jow Forums how god intended it to be.

Is that Jezza?

i think citizen riot there was carrying an rpg 26

Attached: k22_22916755.jpg (990x657, 237K)

My friend went through this, people were trying to break down her gate.Scary times.
P.S. one of the most beautiful countries in the world, good food and chicks are smoking hot.

Ive been blocked apparently. Until that passes I will post another day. Don't care enough.

Well apparently I just can't post images. Other people are gonna have to up the clank.

This is the most blessed image I've ever seen. Every time I see a riot I get frustrated at how everyone is pussyfooting around with rocks and bottles and pepper spray and not really doing anything. But these mad lads actually took it to the next level and did something meaningful.

Please tell me there's video of this stuff somewhere?

mods didn't think it was adequately weapons related?

Attached: k05_22916149.jpg (990x671, 295K)

I had to look all this stuff up after seeing one picture. No one cared about this apparently. Except for some Kyrgystanis that didn't like being told what to do and some Kyrgystanis that wanted to tell people what to do.

>Mom said it was my turn!
>Not fair, I haven't died yet.

mods are such faggots

Their problem, not mine. Honestly I'd rather everyone start posting riot porn. I'll start image dumping again tomorrow if the ban expires. This stuff has been on my mind lately and this seems like the most appropriate place.

where did you read that it was a rocket?

Attached: k12_22915113.jpg (990x590, 249K)

>No no Syrgal, is not how of hold dragunov. Give to me's!

The original caption stated "explosive". My interpretation of that was either the known rocket tubes or grenades raided from the armory. It could have easily been an improvised explosive. Pardon me for intersecting a little flair. You caught me.

*interjecting

i was just curious, the implication has always been that the protesters were putting the tubes to use on phalanxes but i've never seen it explicitly reported.

this picture and the one you replied to are of a second group that got hit with something, but none of the shields have any damage worse that a bullet hole

Attached: k13_22915225.jpg (990x578, 217K)

However this one I don't think is up for debate on that front.
As far as I am concerned that is what is represented. It was known that they robbed the armory and used them against the police. Can I definitely say that's what it is. No. I should have been clearer in what I know and what I don't.

Excellent thread, I had never heard of this conflict before.

Wiki gibs some context on this. Great thread op

Can you give me a run-down on this clank?

Wiki just tells me that it was an ethnic struggle between Uzbeks and Kyrgyz

I said here not there you fuckwit.

Bumping my own thread in case the ban expires sometime today. Then I can start dumping Ukraine/Automaidan content which is much better documented. Amazing pictures from that conflict. Fire and blood in the snow. The nightstick and the Molotov. Appropriately covers that whole FuckYouIWontDoWhatYouTellMe/FuckYouDoWhatISay theme.

Also full correction. This was actually a thrown hail of rocks.

Did they win?

Umm. Hard to say. The president had to step down. There was some anti corruption stuff. Things changed a bit. Kyrgyzstan is still Kyrgyzstan and I'm hardly an expert on their politics. I don't really know if there was any clear win condition. People just didn't like the way things were going and wanted that to change and the government didn't want that. Then they both got angry.

why does police have rocket launchers?

Great thread my guy, enjoyed this very much.

I'm actually not sure. The government was shitty and corrupt and very authoritarian. The whole thing kicked into high gear when the government started cracking down on the protests. Lots of use of live ammunition against protesters. I know of one photo of a group of protesters surrounding a cop and trying to tug a rpg round out of his gear.

Correction: Found the picture, they were trying to remove a loaded rocket tube from a captured cop.

cryptome.org/info/kyrgyz-police/pict227.jpg

Here is the full Reuters photo caption "Protesters try to take a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) from a riot policeman during clashes in Bishkek April 7, 2010. At least 17 people were killed and 142 injured in clashes between riot police and opposition protesters in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday, the Kyrgyz Kabar news agency said. Reuters"

You're a fucking retard, kill yourself.

Cool thread OP

Here's a different clankenning, this time form Worst Korea. In the west almost nooene ever hard about it, which is shame, becasue it was pretty cool.

It happened in 1980. Don't forget that south korea was full scale military dictatorship back then, andhad armed coup every now and then. So, after 54th bi-monthly military coup winners were bunch of literally hitlers, People were not happy about that, and started some mass protests .
So ROK govt sent military and started machinegunning protesters . Well, this was bad idea, as this made people so fucking pissed off, that they raided police armouries and arsenals arming themselves with shitton of surplus M1 garands and M1 carabines, theyy actually formed
>well organised militias
and took control over the Gwangju city.

Well, then few weeks later south korean military govt sent five army divisions with heavy equipment and waco'd the fuck out of them, because roof koreans courage is still poor match against the tanks and regular army.
South korean military govt at first claimned that the rebels were filthy commies, but this was pure bullshit and everybody knew it. Still, it was all hushed up in the west, because SouthKoreaAreOurAlliesAgainstCommunism.
And while the uprising was crushed, it became a symbol of resistance against the already unpopular regime, and - long story short, in another coup (have i mentioned that south korea had pretty crazy coup-countercoup cycles, their governemnts were changing every other year back then), perpetrators were overthrown, protesters were vindicated as heoroes and fighters for freedom and democracy, and they have a pretty cool monument park.
People responsible for the massacre were tried and found guilty as all fuck. But then they were all pardoned because muh old wounds and muh reconcilliation.

Pic related, thats how you build a proper monument, none of this abstract geometric bullshit. Enjoy the MUTT and finely detailed m1 carbines .

Attached: mutt monument.jpg (1256x1014, 374K)

P.s.

Forgot to mention this but it would be applicable but early on the opposition swarmed and captured at least two armoured police vehicles and used them in an assault on the government's offices. There is a picture of one of them in engulfed in flames in the courtyard of the city center or whatever. That may have been part of the reason the cops started using rockets.

Thanks for the support, still banned from image posting. I'll try again later but in the meantime I'm just happy people are talking about the clankery.

Holy fucking based

damn, that's one way to disperse a crowd

Whatever, they have a job to do. I have no power over their decisions. If they fully ban me for talking about armed conflict on a weapons board that's their choice. I'll find something better to do. In the meantime I mentioned this thread is apolitical in nature, and the language you are using is politically charged and has the capacity to drag everything sideways and end up with this thread being taken down. I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you I don't like what your doing. Be respectful or not, that's up to you.
