If you're getting light primer strikes it's not hammer follow, it's bolt bounce. Consider going up a buffer.

Does Armalite make a good rifle? Is .300 blackout comparable enough to .308 that it doesn't matter which caliber I go with? Is ar 15 better than at 10? If so, what company do you recommend getting a 15 from?

BCM has a quality freefloated handguard. PSA has a garbage handguard you should basically throw away. Also to freefloat it you'll need to grind down or replace your front sight post with a now profile gas block.
