Can someone explain to me what the "intended" way to set up this revolver is? I understand red dot on top, but since it's a rail instead of a machined cut any mrd will be much higher over bore. The light rail really confuses me though. Any light on the market will be so far forward you'd have to turn it on with your off hand as opposed to trigger finger. Would it have been so difficult to move the rail back in front of the trigger guard?

Based taste. I just had to move to LA for a year on a work contract and my hand nugget is my only "legal" california firearm. Should I bring it over from Texas and pay that stupid $200 california tax for it, bring it over and just keep it under a box in my closet, or keep it safe in texas and buy some other sort of firearm while I'm here? I've been wanting a 12 gauge at some point anyway, maybe my circumstances are finally the push i need to get one?

What are the first 3 numbers of the serial# and how many digits total in the number? Any letters before the serial#? I can get you a ballpark guess as to year of production.

No letters before the serial, six digits, first three are “513”. Except for a small “B” on the underside of the barrel but that has nothing to do with it right?
