Clancy is pretty good.

>TOM CLANCY presents a TOM CLANCY novel (by Mike Maden)

Non fiction

>be Tom Clancy
>be scolded by the publisher for lack of sexual themes in HFtRO
>insert the cuckoldry, pregnancy and rape motives in the innuendo of romance subplot for Red Storm Rising
>it still sells, but from now on You only have to drop a phrase of two of suggestive narration in every book

I wonder.

Bohph. I typically am reading 3 books at any given time. Nothing to brag about I just have too many interests. Right now im reading "the republic" again, "the road less traveled", and "inside delta force" again. I just finished tom clancy's "cear and present danger" and "patriot games" those books are great.

Both, mainly science-fiction and historical non-fiction.

Attached: M1903_klit.jpg (1200x1600, 1.24M)

Mostly non-fiction but right now I'm working through the Aurbrey-Maturin novels. Aside from those I'm reading a book about woodland ecology past and present and a biography about a based explorer named Bill Tilman. Also Tolkien's translation and commentaries on Beowulf.

Attached: 1234248783027.jpg (1200x1500, 469K)

I can only read it in spurts, because it only alternates between a crushing sense of depression and the gigantic smallness of a tyrannical college dorm RA.

Attached: iron-curtain.jpg (708x899, 209K)

Non-fiction pretty much 99% of the time, usually related to history and/or weird lives/occupations.

How do you stomach his and Engels writing style?

Ive rewd a bunch of his books but never anything not by him

Read the Anabasis by Xenophon

>insert the cuckoldry, pregnancy and rape motives in the innuendo of romance subplot for Red Storm Rising
Huh, I always wondered where that came from. It always struck me as completely different from the tone of the rest of the book.

Non fiction my dude, I love historical accounts and military history. I'm currently reading through Skeletons on the Zahara and The Guns of August, both are fantastic so far.

this is a great one, the chapters that deal with his past life are pretty boring but overall it was great

Here's my books the stuff I like reading the most is the personal accounts

damn user that was the same copy of all quiet on the western front that I read. Fuck that was 15 years ago. Recently bought a nicer hardback version.

1984 is the most important book I’ve seen on this thread.

Who hasn’t read that shit in school already though? I read that when I was in high school

Attached: 4C196505-1E82-44CD-8255-E4F5296EA163.jpg (1536x2048, 502K)

Still most important though. It’s a book that shows how seriously the government wants to program us and how the slow knife is the most deadly.

No one I know even knows about it. Book isn't reading required for high school, at least where I'm from.

Siege and you're a retard if you haven't

Mostly non-fiction. Very few fictional stories have been able to grab my attention and keep me focused.

About a year ago I owned only a couple books and hated reading.
Now my favorite author is Ragnar Benson.

To those of you who either aren't good at reading or like me aren't good at focusing for long times on books, there is info in books that can not be found elsewhere. It's worth your time to read at least a little. You will also get better as you do it more and more.

Currently going through this entire series again.

really? I mean highschool was a while back but I remember it being standard.

Double-speak and Double-think are very insightful ideas. I don't think he knew how much they would be.

reminder that baen lets you download the first one free.

Worth the read. Damn fun.

I'm currently reading this. I've read it before but I'm re-reading it because it suddenly became more culturally relevant.

Attached: 51cAKZRsTgL.jpg (331x500, 35K)

Kinda explains a lot of the shit we are in today if this is the case. I read it for school, my brother did and so did both my sisters. I’m only 27 so I’m surprised shit has changed that much.

Mostly autistic non fiction books

My man

You've read it too? I've only read one chapter so far.

>Stephen Ambrose
Check out his D-Dag book. It's what turned little me into a Jow Forumsommando

It wasn't a required reading where I come from so I bought my own copy

my favorite history book

pic related about midway is incredible

Attached: 2816288A.jpg (434x637, 67K)

Big fan of tactics and strategy books (on war, infantry attacks, etc.) Along with some philosophy for the whole 'why we fight thing'

All of my books are just British History books.

Even as someone not very knowledgeable about the pacific war I was glued to this shit for a couple weeks.
I've read a bunch of history books but this one is pretty much a golden standard to me now

Waste of time. Read a helicopter manual instead.

Clancy is alright though not read one in years. Frederick Forsyth, Le Carre and Bernard Cornwell are more common for me these days. Last book I read was a Sven Hassel.

Rainbow Six is by Clancy

>Stephen Ambrose

Some memes in there like The Art of War. Lofty Wiseman is a legend, met him as a kid.

Is that the one where he lies (as in most of his books) about pistols being drawn on landing craft pilots?

it was required reading when I was in high school, and I had already read Animal Farm on my own in middle school

I still want to build the Abomination.

Culture of Critique.
But for some reason I can't find it on Amazon anymore. I wonder why.

You mean Anthony Beevor.

Ngl he's a pretty bad writer, even if you agree with him politically. Currently reading through Hunter and some of the dialogue makes my eyes roll into the back of my head.

If you waste time reading fiction you lose precious time learning about weapons or tactics.

BOOOKS

YA LIKE DAGS?

The entire audiobook is on youtube. The voice his does for the jewish characters is fuckin' hilarious.

Looks like it got purged during this last big chimpout youtube had. Only a few chapters are still up. The entire 10 hour book was on there as recently as a month or so ago

based. been wanting to read for my revolutionaries. i have anti-tech, think i might give ted another go. social media is bad for us, spiritually and personally.

I love nonsense.

>how many gun laws does this break?

Haven't finished it yet, but Revolt is a quality god damn book. I've been applying a lot of my life to what I've read from it.

More than just social media. You should read ISAIF too if you haven't

You still into bloodplay like a weirdo?

I mostly read science fiction. Asimov, Herbert, Clarke, the like.

>bloodplay
hot

You dont lose fetishes you gain them.

What the hell is there so much to write about each individual mauser? This one is made by Germans, the end. This one is made by turkroaches, the end.

Like others, I wasn’t required to read it in high school either. I own it and it’s on my reading list once I’m done with academic reading.

You are so weird but its cool. I'd take you in as a sister but that's about as far as I'm willing to go. Maybe skinwalker hunting assuming you don't do any of that cuddling gay shit if you get scared.

The bible user, k is a Christian board.

Those books are for hardcore collectors who want to know exactly what they got and not just nation of origin and the fact that it's a Mauser

aww i love you too user

Nah Jow Forums worships any of the war gods.

My favorite is ZARDOZ

I read mostly fiction and I'll recommend the same things I recommend in every book thread

>Alas, Babylon!
>The Forever War
>One Second After
>One Year After
>The Things They Carried
>Rememberance of Earths Past trilogy, mostly the second book
>

Non-Fiction
>Skunk Works: A Personal Memoir of My Years at Lockheed
>Sled Driver

Have you read voices of Chernobyl

I used to mostly read sci-fi, now I'm mostly reading history and gun books.

Attached: 20190617_105938.jpg (1440x2560, 1.9M)

How do you feel about that second book? I'm interested in a book on Manlickers.

I think he did. Orwell was a socialist and he was embedded deep in the Left, but he hated a lot of what he saw going on in the Left.

Orwell was a leftist, but left-libertarian and libertarian principles were clearly more important to him later in life.

I wish I could afford some of thise books.
